  • SHOW THE FUCKING CARDS

  • he is fu... lucky one!!!

hamilton got the same trouble!! look F1 on sunday , yu will see what i mean!

  • Such a shame Stu Ungar wasnt 20 years younger and alive today. At least there woud be a person who can play Ivey on his level. If Ungar woud be alive and in his best form, heads-up match versus Ivey woud be probably the meeting of two perfect poker players. I know Doyle is a legend and Hellmuth has most bracelets, that Chan on ME twice in a row and finished 2nd in following year, but still Ivey and Ungar are the two best ever in this game.

  • @PojebanyMany I think the legend of Stuey is somewhat out of proportions reality. No doubt he was a formidable tournament player, but he was far from the perfect player. People like Doyle Brunson and Barry Greenstein who played with him didn't consider him to be much of a cash game player, and most accounts have him as someone who was easily tilted and lost as much as he won. Barry Greenstein says he recalls a lot of great calls by Stuey, but not many great laydowns.

  • ivey just owns all formats of poker. its ridiculous

  • hahaha you guys still playing on these bullshit rigged sites?? Ive been playing webcam poker on pokerview it’s the real thing plus no BOTS and scam shit!

  • @catdran6747

  • Can someone explain to me what this event is. When he first said that he had "76542" I was like wtf...that doesn't give him anything unless they were suited. Then I listened to the interview. I've never heard of this kind of poker game.

  • @Jamelo81 the lowest hand wins

  • @Jamelo81 they are playing 2-7 single draw lowball (at least i think it's single draw, but it could be triple draw). You're competing for the worst hand with straights and flushes counting against you and the ace counting only as a high card, unlike in omaha hi-lo or seven card stud eight or better. Hence the best hand to have in this game is 2,3,4,5,7 off suit.

  • @Jamelo81 the goal is to get the 5 lowest cards, its the opposite of poker basically. So royal flush is the worst hand you can get, and 75432 is the best. You saw the guy paired his 7, so he has a pair, and Ivey had no pair, so even if Ivey had K J 10 9 4 he still would have one, because his cards are just single cards without any pairing etc

  • Haha @ Phils opponent, "Doesn't matter genius"

  • @Drizzyify Phil's opponent just one tens of thousands of dollars...to a great player. And the commentator was just doing his job. What a bitch. Props to the commentator for not being fazed at all.

  • @Drizzyify Phil's opponent just won tens of thousands of dollars...to a great player. And the commentator was just doing his job (could use some lowball lessons, but whateva) Opponent's a bitch. Props to the commentator for not being fazed at all.

  • Phil Hellmuth!

    Phil Ivey!

If you want a poker prodigy just name it Phil

    XD

  • @pablonbd do Phil Laak and Phil Gordon count as well? xD

  • @drbdrbrobertdrbdrb

    Yes indeed!

i just mentioned the best 2 but i bet there are a lot of phils earning big in poker XD

  • i guess nobody heard what phil's opponent say to the guy with the mic, he was like, "it doesn't matter, idiot!' lol

  • You don't get 6 WSOP bracelets without being a very good poker player. Good job Phil.

  • lol, this dude whos inteviewing moves away microphone when he is asking a question

  • Maybe I'm wrong here, but Phil isn't as excited as one would expect him to be. He just won his sixith WSOP bracelet! He should be doing a moonwalk or something!

  • I know what you mean but it's his 6th. If it was his first I think he'd be excited, maybe even excited on his second since it showed that he was able to accomplish it again. But then after his 4th and 5th, he would probably be like meh, I won again... big surprise there.

  • what happened... fuckwers get a camare atleast

  • poor dealer so many cards ..

  • its so ridiculous that they didn't have a live feed like this for the final table

  • Wots low ball?

  • @jpjames1 what you get is what you get no more cards

  • @jpjames1 look it up on google.

  • i watched this live that monette guy is a douche

  • stop asking your questions here, look it up on wikipedia instead..

  • Ivey has somewhere around 100 million dollars give or take 10 million.

  • he doesnt have 100miillion.... gee lambierte has far more than that, but ivey doesnt have 100 million, more like 50-75

  • guy laliberte does have billions and billions of dollars, but he hasn't earned them from poker. He made his fortune by founding Cirque du Soleil...

  • itz not bout the money, itz bout the bracelet. the more bracelets you got, the more acomplished player you are.

  • money is beautiful

  • 2-7 low ball ownage by mr. phil ivey! he should win w.s.o.p main this year.

  • thts not omaha dumbass

  • lmao in my eyes hes like a tiger woods in poker

  • Phil made so much money off side bets. Also he is in the final table of the main event! Simply Amazing... hopefully he doesn't blow it all on craps.

  • Doesn't matter, he can win it back no prob :P I really hope he wins the main event, he deserves it!

  • when they begin in november he has 32-33 BBs left wich is plenty to play good poker

  • I can't believe he made the ME final table... at a very low chip stack mind you... but damn, if he wins... That puts his career earnings at nearly 20M, and probably the best ever. Go Ivey!

  • Its low in relation to the others but I think he has a lot in terms of big blinds, so anything can happen.

  • He was #3 in chips for a while, but he ran into some trouble right before he made the final table. I'm gonna be rooting for him come November, though. 3 Bracelets in one WSOP would be fantastic.

  • much more than 20 million becuz that only counts the tournament winnings. phil ivey has made millions and millions playing cash games and online.

  • @beeryce88 haha. he def made >> 20M

  • lol dick u prolly lost ur rol coz of sayin dis, its about skillz you loser

  • luck cant explain 6 final tables & 6 bracletes

  • @totalwin777 8*

  • @totalwin777 what do you mean 6 final tables? ivey has way more than 6 wsop final tables...

  • @totalwin777 he is just rich

  • Comment removed

  • Phil is a great player. Not only he dont play much tournament or event at the wsop but when he play he also play aT the big game at night so.......hes one of the all time great for sure!

  • ivey as of now looking for #7 as 45 people left in 2.5k holdem event and hes top 5 in chips...he wants a holdem bracelet badly! Ivey is truly the best!

  • whats the update on ivey hows he doing holdem event

  • Great upload. Thanks.

ESPN podcast said Ivey had side action of almost 10 million. Apparently he even named names and amounts on Poker Road at some point.

  • some sites say here won over 3 million in prop bets to win a bracelet in 09, eli elezra lost a good amount of change to phil here- losing over 1.2 mil on the prop bet :P

  • he, Phil ivey, during the brodcast said it was 3 million.

  • sidebets...

  • How much money will he make of this with bets?

  • a mill plus...i kno him and negranu pay each other 250k a bracelet and i read somewhere that he had a million dollars worth of prop bets going into the final table

  • BLING BLANG BLAOW!

    IVEY TAKES MANEY!

  • 2-7 draw is an incomprehensible game to me.

  • i'm pretty sure you dont understand any of the games, but keep playing

  • You're pretty wrong. I'm a winning NLH player, and do decently in limit O8.... and since people generally suck at mixed games at low stakes I can win HORSE too.

It's just I've never played draw games and it's hard to imagine being able to determine what your opponents have when there are no exposed cards.

  • If you go ahead and compare it to no limit hold em late stages of an online tournament, often the blinds are gonna be so high most of the poker will be played preflop with no cards revealed... Still there is a lot of skill involved in preflop poker, betting patterns, size of raises etc. do you agree?

  • I wouldn't say I agree with that. It's very mechanical and automatic, just some knowledge of the basics is required in that type of situation.

But I don't see what that hs to do with 2-7 draw.

And why are people downrating my comments? I'm not even saying anything you can disagree with in my previous comments?

  • ivey is the stone cold nuts

  • Phil gets all the money, one way or another.

  • ty for the upload

  • He is one great poker player. awesome

  • There are some unhappy people in Bobby's Room Haha:)

  • congrats phil!
