I dyed my hair frim bleached blond hair im asian btw and its really blue just blue n i oove it but looks like allready fading just a few weeks and.. Yeah it does color the water vlue when i shampoo my hair even though itsnfor colored hair ha....;;;

This color washed out after 2 weeks as well. Wouldn't buy again.

Is it possible to wash it out? I mean is this permanent dye or the kind that if you wash it comes out? And if it can be washed out approximately how many times?

@angello882 Is it permanent, but it definitely washed out noticeably from my hair, which has been over processed :(, and by now, about 6 months after my last dye, my hair is back to brown and even some of my blond highlights are showing through again (but very little).

I loooove this hair dye; though in direct sunlight it has a purple / blue tint to it. I don't mind much, but my friends have pointed it out a few times. If it does get on your skin, it comes off pretty quickly.

Okay just a question for you when me and a couple of my friends dyed our hair with this product and we found that our hair started spotting through the color did you have this problem?

@TheGothgirll I'm not sure since my hair is naturally dark, so I wouldnt' have been able to notice much fading. Is your hair naturally light?

this hair color is so amazing but it will fade fast so make sure you use a color treated shampoo but your hair color will still "bleed" for the first 2 weeks. it is metallic based so doing something else to the hair like putting a relaxer in will strip the color even further. my color went from black to orange after i relaxed it and my natural hair color is dark brown.

Did you ignore the instructions to "dampen" your hair?

I dye my hair frequentley and usually the other dyes say apply to dry normal hair.

Hi.. I got the same color and am planning on coloring it. My question is: is it ok to use a flat iron to straighten my hair right after dying it? I'm just afraid that my hair will fall out or something (lol). Also, if I do have to wait before straightening my hair, how long should I wait?

@chblsm I think as long as it's fully dry you should be able to use a low-heat setting to style it. It depends on how damaged your hair is though. If I dyed my hair, I would try to heat style as infrequently as possible.

@wheat636 Thank you. I waited until the next morning to straighten it. Anyways...after much thought, I finally tried this brand and the color was awesome. Love it! What I noticed is that the conditioner surprisingly doesn't make your scalp oily (and I actually applied a lot of it). I went without washing it for 3 days and it was minimally oily. Hope the color remains like this for a few weeks at least.

@chblsm For me it only lasted about 2 weeks before my brown undertones started coming through again. My hair is pretty porous though, from heat and previous color treatings. It might last longer if your hair is less damaged.

I'm scared to use this product. In the instructions manual, it says that the container could explode!! :O but even I I do use his, I dot know if this is suitinle for my Chinese skin tone...gah! It might clash. Does this last a LONG time because I'm hoping that I could wash it out if anything goes wrong.

@xjhangelx28x They had a blue black color but i think the Bright black is supposed to be a neutral and shine white instead of blue. I was owrried abou that, too, but was happy with the color I got. It does last a while but washed out of my hair within a month and a half since my hair's been colored a few times and is porous. It's a pretty solid black that I think would work pretty well on all skin tones. My brown highlights were showing through in the sun within 2 weeks. I love Feria!

@xjhangelx28x Just saying, starry night DOES have a blue shine, i've used it on hair that was dyed blonde, came out VERY blue, dark brown, it came out a little less blue but still had a blue shine, and lastly on bright dyed red hair, in which it came out purple. It's a GREAT dye and does smell quite good. It lasts a normal amount of time but it comes out pretty quick if washed every day.

@babyxcakess no...mine didnt. it turned out a blue black in the direct sunlight but when in artificial light its just black. but whats terrible about this dye is if you go to sleep with wet hair your pillow and shirt will turn purple :(

i used this exact same hair color and brand. My hair had a very very blue tent to it when i looked at it in the light. It was kinda nice but i am going to try a diffrent kind my second time around so it can look black and not have over powering blue in it lol.

a lot of you are complaining about the blue this color gives you.....if you look at the picture there is a LOT of blue tint in it so why didnt you just buy a jet black lol? anyway I just bought this I heard the blue stays in for awhile so I'm hoping it worlks out for me.

@PurpleeeNurpleee I used whatever shampoo I was using at the time, and the tube of conditioner that came with it until it ran out. I think I was using Garnier Fructis at the time :) Tho I just redyed my hair with Feria and the conditioner that comes with it seems to have gotten worse and disappears upon application. I bought the Clairol one they sell on its own instead.

hi, have you tried dying your hair with a different brand after you use feria? because i've heard that if you use a different brand after using feria your hair will fall out because of a certain chemical that is in feria. I'm trying to find out if this is true because i'm scared of dying my hair with a different brand other than feria now until it fully grows out lol.

bright black has a little blue tint to it, which looks GREAT on fair/pale skin, i have a very light skin tone, i dye my hair with this color every month..Feria has to be the best brand i have ever tried, and this girl is right it smells really good.

@XxChUbBybunniixX It was so long ago that my hair is back to its natural color, but I was surprised at first how bright black it was, and a bit blue. I didn't like it at first since my skin has a warm tone, but after a few washes, the blue came out and I was happy with it. I've used the brand several times and have always been happy with it :)

I am never using Feria again. I bought starry night looking for BLACK. And it came out BLUE! I'm never using it again. My hair is messed up now and I am very mad with Feria.

i used this product early last month (for the second time) and have medium brown hair. it is now back to its original color, within a month, for the second time. Nice & Easy lasts longer as well as swarchkopf LIVE. even bigen powder dyes (the blueblack one) is longer lasting. this is was a waste of money for me. not giving it a 3rd chance.

they have pics on the side, i think dark brown, would give you more of a shine. light brown would be duller, and black, like mine, would just make it shinier.

my hair is originally a mix of browns, ranging from dark to light. I used this exact hair color, and when i came out of the shower, my hair was semi dark for a day, and the day after when i took a shower, my hair went back to it's original color, do u have any idea why this might have happened?

that particular shade turned my hair blue lol, i liked it though. but i can see how it is not for everyone. it also faded out really quickly to a lighter blue which wasn't the greatest.
