  • Anything you do to improve and prolong your life is good,Now you are on the road to recovery dont look back.Good Luck.

  • Threfore, Once at a low does sublingualy than the patch is a viable option. BY this itme you will have earned your carries and only be requested to see the doctor once a week for a urine test, and to write the new script. As in the US its even less serious. In Canada however you will have to see the doc 1 per week on minimum no matter what..

email me if you are curuous I can inform you with some great information and hopefully anser any questions. petercunningham7@hotmail.com

  • FInally Suboxone is easy to reduce your dose. It is very easy to get down to a very low does of suboxonew without experiencing withdrawal!! Here comes the HARD part. As Subooxone is buprenorphine!! also an opiate. You will be addicted to the SUB and have trouble getting off. Remember it is much easier and less painful than any other OPIATE ALso new patches at VERY LOW doses available that is a great way to kick it for good.. The patch last an entire week. LIke I said easy to get down to low dose

  • Your 100% right.. the entire key to getting off is making that connection. Unlike methadone and I don't care what all you methadone people say. I have done it and I see all the METHADONE junkies not everyone but good % of people on it) upping their does, nodding off all day, and STILL USING. Suboxone, you don't geel high = shortly getting use to the way you use to be, Prevents OXY from working. Therefore, After using a few times your like this sucks im not high, and you see the value of ur money

  • In the US Subutex is more popular than Suboxone. In Canada and also in the US (SUBOXONE) is availabe as an opiate replacement therapy. Suboxone contains naltrexone as well. and is subligual (under the tongue), 36 hour half life, cheap (all depends lets say 10 bucks a day), and to AGREE with your video the KEY to get off opiate. SUBOOXONE unlike Methadone doesn't get you High. maybe the first couple days you feel a tingle. Fortunately prevents withdrawal, blocks the High from opaites, and is safe

  • Most people of heard of methadone. Which is a decent option for opiate addict. It is monitored prevents opiate withdrawl because Methoadone is an opiate as well however has a 24 hour half life meaing it stays in your system for a least an entire day. It is very cheap approcimately 5$ a day and this si a much better optinon then buying pills a day. However, there is also another option muchs superior than Methadone. and his option also as another option of including a small dose of Naltexone

  • Hey I understand the purpose of your video and the thought and is there. I just want to clear up a few things. I am not positive but I am pretty sure Naltexone won't increase your chance of overdosing. Nalterexone isn't an opiate itself. I think what you probably mean is that people will increase their dose and try adn do more becasue they don't feel high thus increasing their chances of an overdose.

I also want to put forward another option for opiate addicts. Opaite replacement therapy!

  • Wow... I can tell you're from Wilmington/Delco/Gloucester Co. Crazy.

  • @pkustes01 I highly fucking doubt your a fucking physician for two reason. Number one being no doctor would search this shit or have time to search this shit. And number two your fucking grammar is awful. I'm pretty certain a "physician" wouldn't spell know as kno or use cause as a word you fucking moron. Go back to your Wendy's night shift and serve me fries you low life faggot

  • im also getting a shot on monday, but its dec 2011, lol not sure when you posten this, but my commemt was to jasonnlori, man you sound just like me, ive detoxed myself before but always went back and with vengens, last time i went back started bangin them, was doin 20 to 25 30s a day, im coming off that now and it feels like i would rather be dead,,,but thanks, and good luck

  • really appreciate the video, im getting the shot monday. Im nervous, sounds stupid but im really nervous. Ive tried everything else and I always go back and when I go back I go hard. Ive realized if I go back this time its gonna be the last time. Im glad this shot has helped you and im hoping im going to do well with it.

  • great video man, bravo!!!

  • Your a boss for posting this, thanks!

  • As a physician with personal experience with oxy's I'm amazed at the amount of bad information traded here. If you're on an opiate and want to avoid withdrawal, search oxytrex or info on ultra low or low dose Naltrexone combined WITH your oxy. At this dose it DOESN'T block the effects of oxy. It prevents tolerance and pretty much eliminates the cause of withdrawal. Its pretty amazing. It's all out there to read for yourself. Also, stop judging others you know nothing about or thinking you kno

  • thanks mate, balls to you for posting, loved it

  • Thanks this help alot!!!

  • boo fuckin hoo

  • cry me a fucking river

  • Good on you mate. Opiate substitution is inferior to naltrexone. I was an oxycodone addict before I got on naltrexone. The stuff is awesome.

  • I have my assement today and in 2 or 3 days I will have my detox. I'm scared because I don't think I can do it. I can't imagine my life without this stuff.

  • In the beginning of your video, you mythologize dope by calling it a 'demon.' Dope is not a demon, vampire or werewolf but only a combination of chemicals that produce an effect when delivered.

That demon is in you; the chemicals are inert in this regard or maybe you have some other videos that show ampules of dope awakening and forcing themselves into your veins.

If you cannot moderate the use of your DOC, do not blame the drug. Inside job, that.

  • @Nutzack1138 fuck you, asshole. who the fuck do you think you are, bud? suck a cock bud.

  • @Nutzack1138 lol you are a dumbass bitch who does not know shit about addiction, so if that is the case, which it is, go somewhere else to troll and talk shit. This guy is trying to help people who are addicted to opiates/opioids, which is a very serious matter. So instead of you being a jackass to this guy, go fuck yourself somewhere else.

  • listen to massive attack and exercise like crazy

  • part 4 everybody is going to have to look for something else now or get clean. they have banned the old mixture of oxycontin to the oxycontin protective mixture. also called O P on the pill other than O C like we are used to seeing. it is like a piece of rubber now. you cannot snort or shoot-up or smoke it anymore. other than chewing up and it still doesnt give you that quick high. they havent removed the oxycodones yet. they are still the same but i look for them to take them off the shelf

  • @39tommyboy i dont mean to make all the needle addicts run for google. but there is a very tried and true method of prepping the OPs for IV, no more snorting .. but shooting is still VERY possible. the same method for prepping 24hr time release morphine (Avinza).. where ther's a will, there's a way. Any organic chemistry student can get past a time release matrix of polymers weak enough for stomach acid to get through. but yes, u can hit em with a hammer and they just flatten.. u cannot crush em

  • @39tommyboy i did do some research though .. and my findings point to: if u "eat" the OP's as u r "supposed" to, the bio-availablity of the new formula is 103%, yes, i said "103%", the OC formula without polymers only yielded about a 60-70% bio-availability. SO, now, actually, while IV is much faster onset, but in essence its pointless. u dont get 103% from IV, the method pf prep now u may get 80% of it in the IV solution. So, i say eat em, they work better that way now. and MUCH less hassle!

  • what helped me to get off of opiates. in which is oxycontin that i was addicted to for years and taking up to 600mgs of it a day. i went cold turkey and after the first day i was in full detox. so i started the suboxone. 8 mgs twice a day every 12 hours. it stopped the sickness and calmed me down without the shakes. i still craved a little but not much. then after the first week in which i call hell week. i started cutting back on the suboxone so as the end of the 2nd week i was off of it to.

  • @39tommyboy part 2 of suboxone therapy. the second week i cut back a piece at a time untill friday i was off of it. then during that time i took vitamens 2xs daily. this is very important. then drank gatorade with it. lay off the caffeine drinks if you can and dont just drink water or you will flush out more and become sicker. so drink lots of gatorade. try and excersize to everyday. and by doing this after 2 weeks the hardest part is over. i take ultram for my pain now only when needed.

  • @39tommy boy part 3. i take ultram now for the intense pain i have. im still taking the vitamins and a valium for the shakes that hit every now and then. but not everyday. if you still have trouble sleeping then take some benadryl during the entire time. neurontin is good to take for nerve pain and can be taken daily. when the nerves start waking up you will probably need it daily. this is important. also do not take suboxone longer than needed. its hell to detox from also. and expensive.

  • the hard part is like you said when something happens then we use. it goes from killing the pain to depending on it for everything especially are nerves and depression and stress. we have to learn to depend on ourselves to get through all the stressfull days instead of just getting high on oxycontin to numb our feelings. its like everybody i talk to i agree with them pain meds like oxycontin is the hardest addiction to quit next to meth and alcohol. good luck.

  • very good vid man and accurate. there is one question i haven't been able to find an answer to regarding naltraxone. i know it blocks synthetic endorphins; what about the endorphins our body makes itself? i ask this because i got into oxycontin because i got my spine smashed up in an accident so need pain relief. however, i don't want to use oxys anymore and withdrew under anasthetic but still have pain. so all i can use is 30mg of physeptone a day as it's a partial agonist/partial antagonist

  • here about five months ago i got staph infection in the bone and lost my hip and some of my thigh muscle. in fact. 21.2 pounds of muscle in my leg. from surgery. anyway the pain was intense so the doc had me on 100 mgs of oxy three times a day. 20mgs of morphine every four hours injection. fentanyl patch 75 mgs. and then lortab and percocet 10s for break through pain. i was in the hospital for 3 months and the day i went home they sent me cold turkey. ouch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @39tommyboy i went thru 4 months of intense physical therapy .. prescribed Oxy, Morphine, Opana etc ,,, And was sent packing from the clinic because my treatment was as good as it was gonna get..i was sent with 1 no refill script for 60 Percocet 10s.. It took 5 weeks of Suboxone (that i paid 20$ each for) just to get past the physical withdrawals .. the mental withdrawals r about to kill me ... the mental is FAR worse than the physical addiction.

  • @SeanElliott731 its hard when them cravings kick in. in which i have them all the time. you would think that after the medicine is out of youre body and the detox is over the cavings would stop also. i have cravings everyday. thats the main reason why most people give in and go back to using. ive talked to lots of alcoholics who havent drank in 20 years and still miss a drink everyday. sad but true. good luck and write me anytime. godbless.

  • @39tommyboy from the research ive done its a rewiring in the brain of myself and all addicts. the presence of the "dope" causes a release of "Dopamine" (DOPE-uh-meen) in the brain and results in euphoria/happiness. Problem is, once an addict, the brain will no longer produce the Dopamine on its own and needs the "dope" to be present, hence the addict can no longer find ANY happiness when the drug is no longer present. So, id say that intensive mental therapy is needed FAR beyond the "detox"....

  • @39tommyboy what state do u live in? i KNO some do NOT allow a Dr to send u cold turkey like that.it happened 2 me here in MS also. But 4 instance, i am moving 2 Oregon soon, & Oregon has a clause that states if the Dr fully explains 2 the patient what the pros/cons of use of said controlled substance & the patient signs a waiver.. that Dr shall not be held liable for any complications due 2 said prescription. it also states that NO Dr shall leave a patient in pain regardless of the source

  • @SeanElliott731 i live in oklahoma. its in our contract that a doctor is supposed to ween you off such drugs if you break the contract by drug test or going to another doctor. but in every case ive seen here they cut you off cold turkey by banning you from the clinic. that way they dont even have to deal with you anymore. my doctor now is better but is stricter. every month he drug tests. then pulls up youre rap sheet on the computer to see if you went to another doctor and fllled something.

  • dont use the excuse of something going wrong to use.. you use because your week, no offence, just fact.. i did a rapid detox off methadone here in australia and used naltrexone tablets for about 8 months and ive been clean now for 3.2 yrs... you will only give up if you really want to.... i wish u all the luck, keep up with the naltrexone its great!!!

  • yo thanks for the vid man

  • I actually was addicted to opiates for 5 years and I did it cold turkey.

  • I don't have a problem with addiction or anything, but I just want to say it was a very good video. Nice views and presentation. +5 Keep up the good work.

  • very good clip bro. you are very smart and you seem to be very strong. your clip will definitely help many out there who are in the same shitty cycle. god bless you brother.

  • Be carefull when you come off of it. Congrats on your efforts.

  • My husband is taking the 50mg pill form of naltrexone. He just started today. He was on 240mg oc /day. Hes puking and withdrawling right now. Its horrid. But I know this will help him.

  • ever heard of ibogaine? google it

  • right on brother ive been addicted to opiates sence i was 16 taking 11 norcos a day now im on oxycodone... i go off and on just like your saying and i hate going through all the withdrawles its nasty and i hate feeling sick so hopefully we get through this bro stay strong!!

  • chris its joey g. u gotta call me asap.

  • never heard of this. what about withdrawal. does it stop withdrawal. ive been on suboxone for eight months and its been a life saver for me, but as you knw is costly. ive gone 8 months without relapse which is amazing for me, so im curious about this treatment you speak of..could you pm me and tell me more?

  • side effect on naltrexone ??? Suboxone was NASTY for me. thoughts?

  • there are almost no side affects to naltrexone.

  • @recoverycounsel Not true for all. I have just got an implant-Im having really bad side effects. I feel like shit, wish I hadn't got it and just taken oral first. I strongly advice taking oral first to check you don't react. Subutex/Suboxone is a complete bitch to get off-for me harder than heroin. Dont stay on it longer than 20 days if possible.

  • Hi, I'v been addicted to oxy for about 3 months now and my support worker has offered me suboxone and I'm not sure whether to accept or not at this stage. Please tell me how u it was for u. Why was it nasty? Did it get u off Oxy?

  • @habs66666 side effects r if u do suffer from any REAL pain and u r not "recreationally" addicted .. when u have pain, there will b NO way to help the pain . Naltrexone will bind @ the "mu opioid receptor" and block ANY opiates from binding.. hence keeping u from using because if u do, u wont feel the drug at all, it cant bind to the receptor and u waste the "dope", & the "real" pain u have cannot be controlled. i feel Naltrexone etc should only be for a rec user to stop wasting the meds I NEED

  • @habs66666 it helped me if you inly take em 4 a few days then stop and lock yourself in a room!!...but dude you look wasted right now!!

  • wouldnt this injection block the naturally occuring dopamine your brain needs to heal itself as your withdrawal comes to a close. im 25, opiate addict of 6 years, tried methadone, suboxone, cold turkey, taper etc... i made it 10 days clean cold turkey and relapsed. im currently on a taper schedule of oxycontin by mouth instead of the needle. needle junkies get addicted to the needle as well as the drug

  • no, naltrexone blocks opioids, not dopamine. It may affect your mesocorticolimbic (reward) system which is mediated by opioids, but this isn't considered to be a major problem by recovering patients.

  • Read about the Sinclair Method on the internet to show how naltrexone really works. It works but not the way he says it does...

  • please rate this video !!!!!!!!

  • Hey, there. Congratulations on finding something that works for you. Just as a note, you won't OD on opiates while on naltrexone unless you take an amount that you would OD on normally. The danger of OD comes if you megadose to try to power past the naltrexone.

If you take your normal opiate dose while on naltrexone, all that will happen is that you'll lose interest in taking opiates. Google "The Sinclair Method" for details.
