Well, I'm not sure what these words mean in Japanese, but in English a two-shot is a picture with two people in it. I doubt it means two people taking a picture together, because that wouldn't affect the content of either picture taken, so there would be no need to describe it that way.

Anyway, it's interesting to know that the term exists in Japanese.

I don't know if that sounds bad, but when I'm told by fellow Americans how to say things in Japanese, I generally have my doubts... v.v;;
