What you need is a needle like they use for iv's and a tube connected to another needle poked into a thing called a vacutube. As a nurse about it. They are so cool they will vacume the blood out.
@bnewton81 haha ive tried the BD Vacutainer 5-6x on patients and it was a waste of time. so i finally just got a 10cc syringe and a 20g intra. cath put a tiny bit of a local and worked better than anything. but you have to be careful with the amount of suction you apply on the syringe. it can get a lil hairy.aha

So did you ear get back to normal? It seems that you couldn't drain the excess fluid and you mentioned that it was hardening already. From what i read, that usually means permanent and can be corrected through surgery if it worsen.

I always used my wrestling headgear during Practices... my hair was long so i would wear my nylon head cap, my team would get mad lol cuz i'd always have to stop to put it back on lol =) ... Im in college now and my college doesn't have a wrestling team =( so Im sad...I Loved Wrestling =D
@Mike08HAM I dont see it too often in Jiu Jitsu guys, mostly wrestling and boxing. iv been wrestling for 2 years and i barely have anything. Other guys will go 6 months and their ears are twice the size it was when they started. it all depends on the person.
Damn that must have hurt like a bitch! lol i had surgery on my face because of a rock fight that hit me just under my eye and it was swollen more than a golf ball. I also did some draining of puss.
