@cripps78 I have never owned one, but I have shot it. I thought they both shoot great, besides fit and feel, I don't really remember a huge difference.
What 1911 are you looking at? Ruger's is supposed to be a nice gun for the money. But I saw a Sig 1911 in a Desert Tan that I would love to get just too pricey.
The HK45C is the next addition to my collection. In Maine both of the HK45's are very difficult to get at the moment. I envy yours and am glad to hear it is working well for you.
Always nice when problems sort themselves out. My g19 was having feeding issues 300 rounds back and no issues since. Go figure. Still makes me wonder if it will pop up again.
Are you familiar with the HK USP? If so how would you compare it to your HK?

Ever thought about a .357 sig. A little more pricey to shoot but great ballistics!
