This sort of thing, reprehesible as it is, is nothing new. Every time the US is at war (and when is it not?) there's always the excuse of treason/national security to slam the dissident. Another example of Obama's "change" we can "believe in."
@TheAzov He's worse than Bush because he has lied so much and everything he's done is contrary to the Constitution. I expected nothing out of Bush because he was easy to see coming, you know? He was just kind of stupid and bumbling. THIS guy.. I don't even know.
I think he should be held accountable for his actions, but it's pretty fucking ridiculous how they're making an example of him. I also agree that the government should be more transparent, and the "collateral murder" video should be seen so people can see what goes on during a war. Why was it classified?
And you're right about the government getting away with torturing it's own citizens. Hell, now that they can detain anyone indefinitely without a trial that should make it much more easier, no?
@jacesan Yeah man it's scarey out there. The act of taking away a person's clothes is not something a lot of people consider when thinking about this case but really how extreme is that? It's really a horrible way to try to mentally break someone down.
NDAA is the worst thing Obama could have signed. The language of it is... dangerously ambiguous and could lead to the kind of witch hunt that would put all others before it to shame.
Good to see a new video from you Shali. I can't believe the shit that's going on in America right now. The Bradley Manning situation is a disgrace, as is the very apparent eroding of people's rights and personal freedoms over there. That's some scary shit you got going on.
@TheEvilOfScientology It's sad that so few people are actually paying attention. I detest the American press for going on and on about stupid, nonsensical, inconsequential things. American politics and media have both lost their meaning and substance. It's actually embarrassing.
@dev0n72 LOL well the original intention was for them to be public servants in our interest but that got turned around unfortunately. Nice to see you around! :)
Torturing anyone is wrong, no matter the reasoning behind it. As an Australian viewing the U.S from the outside, I and many others are very concerned at the direction your Government is heading, the slow carving away of peoples liberties and personal freedoms is frightening.

I have a lot to share on this issue, I think you may already be aware of those. Maybe it's time I make a vid on the subject myself. Thank you .

It's all part of the Nazification of America, unfortunately. As a member of Amnesty International I'm willing to do anything I can to help.
