Nice vid! About Edison - I read once that he used slanderous remarks to tarnish Nicoli Tesla's reputation, the discoverer of alternating current, which is much more efficient than direct current, and is much more useful when trying to transport it long distances.

actually edison only suggested that they use the oposite current to his (cant remember which one he invented). that way, that current would be cursed with being used as an execution tool. i think edison even filmed a movie of him using the current to kill an elephant in a few seconds to prove how "dangerous" the particular current was.

What software do you use for your polygonal avatar and the lip-synching?

Poser 7. The lipsync was done using a feature that comes with Poser 7 called "Talk Designer". The sunglasses were modeled using Freeware called Anim8or (which ironically sucks for animnation but is great for creating props, figures etc) The facial texturemap (2D imnage file applied to the face to add details like eyebrows etc) was based on a standard Poser 7 texturemap but I added eyebrows and a goatee using photo-Paint 7.
