Great sound from the flautist, but I think the final section needs to go a bit quicker. A quicker tempo heightens the fantastical, dreamy sound, particularly in the piano part. Great piece though, my favourite flute work.

Debussy's solo flute piece: Syrinx (1913) Good sound but too much vibrato! The flutist is not french. Paul Taffanel said "the vibrato is artificial and only the bad musician use it"

Messiaen smallest work is a treat to here. it does sound like the blackbird (which in french is the works title name)
