thats scary.. we have this kind of caterpillar in our country... (Philippines) when you try to touch them, your skin will feel so itchy! but when you try to put some vinegar on it, the itchy feeling will gone..
I had Milkweed in my backyard. I would always watch as the butterflies layed their eggs on the plants, I even raised a few. I don't suffer from allergies but my father does, so I had him tested before I got into the butterfly / beekeeping thing.
I can't imagine what a shock that would have been...
