my 09Si with shifter bushings and a torque rod will take an auto v6 accord. but not the manual. theres just no replacement for displacement 3.5 vs. 2.0 you do the math guys.
HAHA ive raced an AV6s and beat them each time-A friend of mine beat 1 and all he had was CAI, Exhaust, Cobb--AV6 have POWER but 97preludeshvtec is right for most part and accords are porky--the gearing and light weight makes up for the lack of TQ in an Si-- im making almost or close to 220wph myself and im running full boltons too--ill be changing my intake manifold and TB soon and retuning in Dec and i should be at 230whp respectively--to each their own
U don't have enought tq and hp to pull away from me in twisties and I don't have to do much to get to ur handling status, 2 minor changes....ride height and small rear sway bar that comes on our accord, that's all. Mod for fkin mod, u will never take a v6 6spd accord, especially if u were untuned and especially with me behind the wheel. Keep it movin jr
Your bolton flashpro si wont do circles around shit, not even automatic v6 accord especially with the same boltons. But v6 6spds will do circles around you untuned, no flashpro, no lsd. You think an accord will out handle an Si??? What planet are you from? The accord is built to compete with a camry. My car runs fender to fender with stage 2 STi's, I'm not worried about any accords in the twisties or in a straight line for that matter.
The J motor has prehistoric technology, sohc, economy oriented vtec. Will you beat a stock Si, yes, but an I/H/E tuned Si will take any accord a/t or m/t all day my friend.
If I can beat bolt-on S2000's and stage 2 STi's, I'm not worried about an Accord in a straight line or in the twisties. Less weight, better gearing, better chassis, 220whp I'm betting on my Si ; )
@97preludeshvtec I'm not saying the SI is slow. The K motor is awesome. But don't go saying an I/RH/E/Flashpro Civic will take any Accord. Most bolt on/tuned K20s are doing 21x-22x , you're nothing special. I dyno'd 255 on a mehh Jpipe and 2.5in exhaust. With my now 3in exhaust, once I get a better Jpipe, I should be doing around 265/21x untuned. My Accord isn't fast either. Twisties the Accord has no shot, but straight line you'd be surprised.

How much does your accord weigh??? I'll tell you 3390lbs buddy, compared to 2850lbs of an Si. And I "ain't saying nothing", did you even graduate high school man? So making your pig handle better is as simple as "a drop and a rear sway bar".... Come on now, and I'm the noob? There's a lot more to it than that, more mass equals more inertia which resists change in direction, your accord also lacks an LSD = spinning inside tire and lots of understeer.
So yes 220whp and 500 less lbs coupled with a better gear ratio and a chassis designed to handle well, I'll take my chances with any V6 Accord. Your lack of knowledge comes right through in your writing.

But for you to come out and say you will put any V6 6MT Accord behind you is silly. I honestly think it'd be a good race. I made 255/209 at the wheel in my bolt on Accord untuned with a broken CAI and sh!tty Jpipe. Going back to dyno with my 3in exhaust after a new Jpipe. Looking to make 270/220. Where are you located?
