I saw Rene Balcer at Banff TV fest. He said VDO is very intense, VERY involved in every aspect of LOCI..like TOO involved in every little detail..which is why he got over worked & collapsed a few yrs ago. He also said VDO & Chris Noth HATE each other. And that VDO would work for free on a passion project. He's about the art not the $. sigh. VDO is perfection personified. (MY opinion, not Balcer's :)
