@xxfiercehunter more than 24 hours.  And not the only occasion ... we once had a Mercedes w/ NJ plates go for an entire weekend. NYC cops "didn't know how" to get the door open and shut it off, so they left it on.

In those cars, the easiest way to stop it is to unplug the horns! They are right behind the front grill,.. Lay under the car and you may be able to reach them!

Someone parked in front of my complex when I used to live in detroit and for one reason or another their car alarm started going off, it went on for a solid 2 hours before someone shot the car, the proceeded to light it on fire.

the longest I had heard a car alarm was 45 minutes.  24 hours of a car alarm going off without stopping is very annoying and it is a public disturbance.

This happened to my car. I left the key in the ignition to let the battery drain. Then some cunt stole my CD face but left the bulk of the unit in there. Fucking pricks.

I would have unwired the battery after about 2 hours of that noise, never mind 24. Just reach under their car and force the bonnet up.
