  • Cool,sounded like 210mph, with another gear to go..Good clip..Thanks..

  • aww.. I'm just yankin' yer chain.. seriously though that Thruxton does sound great!! What kind of pipes you runnin' on that one? My 2006 has the Triumph aftermarket 'off road' pipes and they sound pretty good but I prefer something a a little more throaty. My old custom 71 Triumph bobber has short straight headers.. Talk about screamin'!! Well, ride on Y'all!

  • It's not mine so I don't know. If I see the guy again in the spring I'll be sure to ask.

I need to get someone to take a video of my bike, I've got a Monster with a QuatD ExBox and I'm told it sounds similar to the one that is pulling in the beginning of this video with the exhaust chopped at the "udder".

  • Man I wish that I could afford to get o Quat-D for my Ducati 749D (running stock exhaust for right now) But the price of the quat-D at this point and the economy have left me with no choice to stay stock for now :( Ride On!

  • 200mph? come on.. haha.. I own a 2006 Thruxton 900 and it's a great bike. It's a very quick and nimble bike but there's just no way! Come on? Seriously? lol..

  • Ok, 199.99.

It's the clipons, they give an aerodynamic advantage that adds at least 70 mph.

BTW, would you be interested in buying a bridge that a Nigerian gentleman has for sale?

  • that's not 200mph but he was going damn fast

  • So, I exaggerated a little tiny bit.

As cold as it was that day it might as well been 200.
