  • @DorneysLP

nimms nich persönlich is doch nur ne serie^^

  • holy crap this tv series is hilarious in English. It's such a lame sync in German

  • gar nicht mal so schlecht der Witz ;)

  • Hamburger has something 2 do with Hamburg!

  • @mrbroccholi no with Ham = Schinken

  • @ad220588 oh thx :D

  • I want to meet the person that came up with the script for this scene and give him an award.

  • @HeroSmashXellos Bill Lawrence confirmed it on a bonus disc of the complete series but I like the idea that we don't know it exactly after watching the series. It could be that his name really is Glen Matthews and he told it JD because he asked him about his name after 8 years for the first time. But a few seconds later he is called "Tommy" and it's ok for him! So we will never know if he fooled JD again! I like that idea more!

  • @HeroSmashXellos That is not really correct. Bill Lawrence said something at a college speech but the show which he refered started in 2002, 1 year after scrubs. That means that the janitor had no name for one year? But yes, at a DVD he says it's his real name. After the "Glenn Methews"-scene a helper said to the janitor "Hey Tommy!"! And he accepted it. In my oppinion he IS Neil Flynn, the actor, because JD saw him in the Harrison Ford film. But I think that it is good to don´t know his name.

  • lol...in the german version of scrubs he plays a swedish guy named ole instead of klaus the german xD

  • The Meat in the Hamburger was the real Hamburger which isnt comparable to todays Hamburger. Also in a Hot Dog there is still a Frankfurter Sausage or some variation of the Frankfurter type used.

  • And again in the german version it is a danish man instead of a german :-/

  • Yeah i live in Hamburg :D

  • in the german synchro he is ole the swedish and doug asks him why it's called to sit behind swedish curtains. (i'm not sure if it's the right phrase. i'm from germany. correct me if it's wrong). the janitor gives him the same answer. we're realy in scrubs episodes. why? why not the french or the danish?

  • @95Imperator

gestern noch geguckt und mich gut amüsiert^^

  • that is actually a good question, janitor.

  • what did he say about lady gaga

  • can someone explaine why the American only use the german language for these jokes? xDD

  • i just looove the face doug makes at the end lol

  • @Gigon12 no this episode in german was swedish!

  • Frankfurter were invented in Frankfurt.

They should get their facts straight.

  • damn why is there no scene with molly clock and the janitor, i wouldve really loved that

  • classis nigel!

  • Well actually, according to one theory at least, the word "hamburger", describing the one you can eat, does descend from "Hamburg", as the original receipt was brought to USA with early colonists from said German city.

  • @DocAxt according to one theory? Man, the word Hamburger actually means "of Hamburg" in German, same with Frankfurter and Nürnberger. Even people from Hamburg are called "Hamburger" in German.

  • @DocAxt but since I see you are a German the explanation was a waste of my time xD

  • this is 110% funny!!

  • love doughs face in the end , its just 100 % ---> :D

  • The Bill Lawrence and the cast of Scrubs openly admitted that not even they knew what the janitor's name was after he left the show in the 9th season, because he was always only the Janitor. They said it in several interviews and director's commentaries. He didn't have a name. Tommy, Glen, and Josh were fake.

  • hey wie heißt diese folge

  • @Bj95ffm Staffel 5 Folge 16- Meine clevere Idee

  • @MOSYTPSC oh sry das is ne andere hab sie verwechselt :D

es ist Staffel 3 Folge 8- Meine Kollegin

  • Doug -> Face WIN!

  • Their voices sound so cool in english, and somehow i must laugh :D

In german they sound more ridiculous xD Watch a german episode, just for fun guys!!^^

  • lulz to that one, even though his german impression is not that good ;)

  • Which episode is this

  • no one wants to know what is his real name - he is so fantastic he is just - the janitor

  • His real name is Tom.

  • His Name is Lurch

  • Deutschland FTW ^^

  • nationalstolzfor the kloschüssel

  • @dascairon Der Anti-Deutsche passt da viel besser rein..

  • actually, hamburgers are from hamburg. hamburg in new york, but still. and frankfurters are from frankfurt <.<

  • I love that line. Why is your lake tittykaka, not full of boobs and poop.

And in the last episode a person walks by after JD leaves and calls him tom.

  • cut the bullshit , you.

in the last episode of scrubs he tells JD that his name is glen mathews.

his real name is neill flynn

  • but after he called JD his name is Glen matthews, another person goes by and calls him Tom (thanks 68playa307)

so noone will ever know the real name.

  • his name ( in the soap) is Lurch

  • not really... they just say that because he reminds some of them of the housekeeper of the adams family

  • Did anybody how is the real Name of the Janitor?

    plz help

  • in the last episode he says his name is glen mephews, but right after JD leaves, someone is calling him Tommy, so nobody will ever know his real name

  • ah cool thank you

  • @AK1MBO rumors say he was neil flynn himself

  • @AK1MBO in an FAQ, the creator of scrubs says that his name really is glen mephews

  • @AK1MBO his real name is janitor

  • @AK1MBO Yes, BUT Bill Lawrence explains it in the extras for Scrubs that the janitor's name IS in fact, Glen Matthews.

  • @AK1MBO actually his name is Tom...

I saw it in a Show in german TV (I am german you know) and they said that his name is Tom! It was a small segment in a News Show where unnessecary facts are told (just if you wanted to know)

  • @AK1MBO

Well Bill Lawrence (the producer/inventor of scrubs said on Twitter that Glen Matthews IS his real name..

  • @AK1MBO but in a few episodes they called him "Lurch"

  • @AK1MBO his Name is Glenn Mathews. The Producer and the Actor of the janitor said this in a Interview. Both think that the Janitor didnt lie. Sorry for bad englisch ^^

  • @AK1MBO Maybe is Glen his real name and Tommy is a new "person" like Klaus the german =D

  • @AK1MBO His real name is Neil Flynn...or probably his last name is Janitor and his first name is The

  • @FireOps dude,,his real name is "learch" ;D

  • @SteffAMV No... "Lurch" is not his name...

  • @AK1MBO Wait a sec, everyone KNOWS his name is Dr. Jan Itor!!!!

  • @AK1MBO The doers of Scrubs have confirmend that his name is really Glen Matthews ;-)

  • @Lorrer09 an other possibility of his name is josh:

    J|Janitor

    O|f

    S|acred

    H|eart

  • @YB571 wow now datz creative n absurd at the same time lol how da fuck do u ever get to think about stuff like diz? lmao

  • @Lorrer09

his real name is tommy cuz i therewere 2 episodes when some ppl call him tommy, he lyed J.D cuz he thinked that J.D will not leave sacred heart.

  • @Lorrer09 his real name is Josh, cuz that means Janitor Of Sacred Heart

  • @Lorrer09 He has no name. He's the Janitor. Neil Flynn said it somewhen.

  • @Lorrer09 It's a hidden feature on the DVD's from the 6th season :D So buy it and you will know the name :D

  • @Lorrer09 Glenn Mathews

  • @Lorrer09 In the Episode when he goes to the school of his son to explain his profession, he dresses up as doctor and writes his name on the board. I don't know if it's his right name, but he wrote "Jan Itor"

  • @ZooeyWTF

duuuude, Jan Itor ? .... Janitor ? well he got you with that joke ...

  • @Lorrer09

On german Scrubs Carla often called "Lörtsch"

  • @Tizera actually, it's "Lurch" and it's supposed to be a joke.

  • @Lorrer09

    Jan Itor

  • @Lorrer09 nobody knows

  • @Lorrer09 Chuck Norris knows it :)

  • @Lorrer09 in one episode JD sees him in a movie, and turns out that he is an actor, i forgot the name, but after JD confronts him with it he says "you tell anyone i kill ya"

  • @Lorrer09 It is Glen Mathews the director officially announced it

  • @Lorrer09 Well technically, his name would be Neil Flynn. Because he was in The Fugitive, his name would be his actual name - Neil Flynn

  • @Lorrer09 his real name is LEARCH! i´m 100% sure,,,cuse carla said it in one episode,, ;D ,, "LEARCH"

  • @SteffAMV no carla called him lurch because he's a little bit like lurch from the addams family

  • @lachgummi90 oh okay,,thank you

  • What does JD say before German? Well, I'm german and it's the only thing I don't understand. Thanks!

  • He said "dimwitted".

  • I love the Janitor!

  • so true

    Titicaca = boobpoop

    hahhaa

  • not really^^ I'm German and yes: Kaka is kind of a baby word for poop...or maybe poop is a baby word in english too...

but Titi doesn't make any sense in German^^

  • Titicaca is a lake!

Doug asked why isn't Hamburg and Frankurt made of Hamburger and Hotdog!

Because it sound like "Hamburger" and "Frankfurter"

And the Janitor said, why isn't Titica filled of Boob and Poop! Because "Titi" = Tits and Caca = Poop!

Get the joke now???...gorsh, this ruins everything coz I have to explain it to you

  • @wonderwhix i still dont get it >_<

  • @fruitsygirl he asks why the city hamburg and the city frankfurt don't have anything to do with hamburgers and hotdogs (the sausages in the hotdogs are called frankfurters). so janitor asks, why the lake titicaca isn't filled with titts and shit (titti=childish expression for titten ("tits") and kacka=childish expression for kacke ("poo/shit") in german)

    you get it now?

  • @Sicklehead88

YES I DO :P thank you for sharing that with me. On a totally different random note, we were born in the same year, (if u were actually bron in 1988 lol) ;)

  • @wonderwhix xDDDDDDDDDD

    Yeah it ruins everything xD

  • @wonderwhix Actually, "Titten" = "Tits" and "Kaka" = "Poop".

But you won't often hear a German say "Kaka", except from children. ^^

  • Maybe they confused it with Pipi, which would be the baby word for piss.

  • @loaaarrr No, but titi as titty makes sense in English.

  • of course it makes sense...

  • vlt meint er "pipi"...

  • lol neaver heard of the word "titte" in german?

"titi" so is kinda the cute way to say it

    btw im german too :P

  • lol, versteh KEIN Wort ^^

  • haha titikakka See xD
