i love landing in orlando, i've gone to disneyworld 3 times so yah, im going for a 4th time in like a year and i can't wait to land in orlando again, i love seeing the green and i love walking into the airport and feeling the humidity. I LOVE ORLANDO!!!!
You probably didn't know this but that first airport you see is called Orlando Executive Airport. It opened as Orlando Municipal Airport in 1928 when Pan Am began service to Cuba and Puerto Rico from here. Amelia Earhart was there in 1935. Eddie Rickenbacker (Eastern Airlines) was there in 1940. The US Army Air Corp used it during WW2 calling it the Orlando Army Air Base. It was transferred back to Orlando's control and renamed Herndon Airport in the 60's then Orlando Executive Airport in 1982.
Description: 00:00 - 00:25 > we see Colonial Drive (STR 50) hurdling Lake Barton and Little Lake Bartonn :::: 00:26 - 00:45 > we see The East-West Expressway (Toll Road 408) going over Lake Underhill ::: 01:00 +- > we see Curry Ford Road ::: 01:15 > we see Lake Fredrica ::: 01:30 > we see Pershing Ave :::: 01:55 we see Hoffner Ave (STR15) and Goldenrod Rd (STR 551) ::: 02:36 > we see Toll Road 528 (Beach Line)...and finally MCO! Home Sweet Home! ♥
@heyyferr You are a long time dead, get out there and enjoy yourselves NOW..If its money thats the problem, then there are loads of excellent sites that tell you how to do it on a budget, BUT having said that, it still costs quite a lot. The tickets for the parks really add up!! But its well worth the visit and its NOT just for children, infact at most times of the year you see far more couple without children then with just incase your parents think its a childish thing to do!!
Virgin offer fantastic value for florida flights, but only if you book early. You can get a return flight for the same price as a return flight to NewYork on some dates.
if only you were recording out a window on the other side of the plane you MIGHT of been able to see my house. This video starts right over east hwy 50 facing west. you can see colonial HS, and the 408 and rio pinar country club
yeah but the flights can be cheaper. like i live in manchester and it will cost £500 on virgin and will cost £450 on thoms cook i also prefare bigger planes because they cope withe turbelence better
@BNSFFREAK747 I had forgotten about Glasgow but i'm pretty sure that it is seasonal, it may even be charter i'm not sure, I also think that when they run it they use an A340-300 but again I could be wrong
@TissieSaffie Virgin dont fly from Heathrow to Orlando, I cant seem to see the comment that you replied to, but im gathering from what i can see is that you're saying that Virgin do fly from heathrow, however, they don't.
@AlphaThreeEighty Orlando Intl is miles better than Sanford, Orlando has more shops and restraunts and I love the train thing that takes you to passport control!
Hey everyone! We fly with Virgin to Orlando from Manchester next week! on our Honeymoon. I'm a bit worried about the heat. Does anyone know if it will be bearable this time of year eg 20-25c?
It will be warm but not intolerable, last September the hottest it got to was high 90's and even then we still enjoyed it! Hope you have a great time too!!
I'm going again this year, with Virgin from Gatwick. We're thinking of upgrading to Premium but we're not 100% sure, i guess you was in Economy, how was it?
International Drive also, we stayed in the Low Q but we only slept there we were up and out by 8am every morning and not back until about 10-11pm every day for a fortnight, was exhausting!
Yeah it can be not being used to the heat - We got up nice an early to get full experience but we went to hotel between 2 and 4 usually to relax and out again later cause of the heat
Going to Disney on the 8th!
