I saw in february a retrospective of Jean Michel Basquiat in Paris at the Musee d'Art Moderne, a long queue to get in. The plce packed with old young and children...there were about 100 paintings of which many were just painted on the cheapest cloth cotton. Van Gogh had no money but he used Linen and quality oil paints, this artist painted on rubbish and used rubbish paints. His work...
