I use fraps as well, however when i upload the vid to youtube the quality seems to reduce dramatically!

It was done at 720x480 and rendered using vegas with the standard setting for wmv. New youtube size fricks it up though.

I was surprised how well it came out, file size is only about 12.7mb for 2:43

If you lose your ship and have it insured, then you get money back. Some of the modules are lost when the ship is destroyed but others are left. If you lose your ship you need to get a new one, with your money.

you get podded when your ship dies, if your pod dies, then you have to start again unless you have clones

You don't get podded when you ships get destroyed. You eject in your pod, then maybe the pirates kill you pod and you "resurrect" at your clone. You only lose som percentage of your skillpoints, which you can train again.

REALLY fun game, i just had my first low sec fight the other day, several of the guy's friends uncloaked nearby.. lol walked right into that one.

One complaint i have about this game though is that the time between the first few weeks and the time you start pvp is really really dull, just missions and mining.

you can do a lot of things in EVE - face dozens of hostile NPCs in missions, venture to low sec and pirate other vessels, join a corporation that makes capital ships and help them build motherships and dreadnoughts, run trade routes, discover hidden complexes that drop very expensive items, manufacture and smuggle drugs and other illegal goods, train to become a fleet commander, conquer space with you alliance and build stations, many other things i did not mention here that you can do in EVE

This game is great you have to understand that this is a no mercy PVP extravaganza!

If you head to 0 space and get your ship blown up you lose it and everything in it.This game has full of treachery suspense and heartache.Youll also make many close friends because you rely on them for your safety.Try it and get to 0 space and youll have a heartattack when a pirate is stalking your ship sector to sector.

yeah the amazing thing about eve is the economy and the fact that the server is not "sharded" like in WoW. all the players are on the same server cluster (albeit in different systems linked by gates) but it allows communicating and trading with anyone in the entire game. very sophisticated economy with almost every item in the game being manufactured by the player's corporation.
