If you use the soldiers and are successful you get the "Magic Comb" a weapon for Red XIII that allows double material growth and three material slots.

ur dumb they miss alot only because of the fury you put on ur characters and u miss alot during ur walkthrough

Something about this game... I feel like the characters are alive and real, and I can 100 % relate to them. I find it odd that FF 13 doesn't do that for me, even though there's no voice acting in this game, just written speech. The way they talk and act though, it may not seem as serious as the later FF games, but if feels more realistic...

I've never played this game, and I already love it.

Forgot one thing. Steal a Boomerang from the purple birds to give Yuffie a better weapon.

The battles at Fort Condor can be fought 15 times before the mandatory battle on Disc 2.  You actually get items such as Hi-Potions and X-Potions if you defeat all the enemies before they reach the shed. If you win the first battle, you get a Magic Comb, a weapon for Red 13 with double materia growth.
