Maybe like he's said, Ninja is like his final character that he'd been looking for. Listen to the lyrics of "Total Fuck Up" from Maxnormal.TV, it pretty much tells how he thinks he should change persona b/c he isn't getting anywhere with his current one.

I am aware of the schtick interview where he claims the forest fairy tattoo is "not street enough". And I do know what I'm talking about in the realm of performance art, and real vs. fake ink, as I have plenty of real ink, and can spot the difference. I highly doubt a performance artist such as Waddy would cover himself with hideous bad permanent ink to make his character "Ninja" seem even more convincing. Waddy is a chameleon, and a master of deception.

well, i guess my response is, what is "real"? is waddy jones a real gangster? probably not, although he might hang out with real gangsters. he's a great rapper though, and that's real enough. what is a "real gangster" anyhow? i knew several people growing up who were pretty bad people, but their grandparents still thought of them as cute little babies. perception is a tricky thing... also, those tattoos look prison-style (razor blade and ink rubbed in with fingers), not tattoo-shop.

Ninja is a fictional character- when they were Constructus, Yolandi was obviously his girl, during Max Normal, they didn't really go into that at all, now Yolandi is his childhood friend, when in fact they've been married for quite some time. Waddy's like the Andy Kaufman of his genre, brilliant in everything he does. We'll surely see more characters in the future. The tats: probably appliques.
