It's a shame that I'm - at the moment - not at home so that I can't enjoy this song as I should. I love classical music - and this kind of interpretation is awesome.
This is Opus 28 number 20. The original, in C minor, is a series of block chords. I understand that this arrangement, in A minor, was done by Andre Segovia. His arpeggiated version is so much sweeter. It tears your heart.
On Amazon, you will find:
Mel Bay's Chopin for Acoustic Guitar (Paperback) by Richard Yates (Author)
Frederic Chopin: 21 Selected Pieces (Classical Guitar) (Paperback) by Richard Yates (Arranger)
Can anyone tell me where to find the sheet music for this piece? I greatly apprecitae it. It would really help inspire me to write somethin' in this type of style.
Not to sound like a freak but I literally cry whenever i hear this..it rips me completely away from whatever mood Im in. Within a minute I am either in tears, or holding them back with great effort.
This is Chopin Op. 28 No. 20. However, this is Andres Segovia's version of it. The original was not written like this. Segovia broke up the chords not unlike an arpeggio. I think it sounds better this way. It's softer. Richard Yates as a Book/cd combo "Chopin for the Classical Guitar" that has both standard notation and tab.
and then a guitar version but played my some one els
if i can remember correctly this is either Bach or Mozart to me it has Bach written all over it but i haven't listen to classical in a loooooooooooooooong time,so i could be wrong about all that
Amazing,,,,,,,

Bardzo fajne. Szkoda że w Polsce ludzie mało mają pojęcia o gitarze klasycznej.
