Since Criterion seems to release the more overlooked of Kubrick films (not that Paths of Glory is overlooked, but defintely small compared to his later films) I`d love to see a Barry Lyndon Criterion release. Somehow Barry Lyndon, which I think is his most brilliant film when it comes to visuals, have been overlooked even more than The Killing.
@MrZkinandBonez - That would be great - although "Barry Lyndon" isn't the best Kubrick film, it's my favorite. It's undoubtedly been the most accessible for me personally, I could watch that film any day of the week. I agree with "TheCrocxxx", Criterion needs to get their hands on "Lolita".
@MrZkinandBonez they cant do any of those films, they are owned by warner bros. thats why they only have these tree. im sure if they could they would release all of them
I think Killer's Kiss would have the reputation of something like Out of the Past if it wasn't in Kubrick's filmography. That one edit from the boxer to the guy on the street surpasses the 2001 bone/spaceship visually, though the bone cut serves a much greater purpose.
Love, money and to conceal murder are the three reasons to kill someone.
