Lebron is a better passer and rebounder and he shot more threes last year at a higher percentage than Kobe. And they're both GREAT defenders. Lebron kinda reminds me (aside from all the untouchable records) of a pre-'67 Wilt: He's the most athletic / talented; a physical specimen like no other in the league. His stats are impressive (excluding free throws), high PER, but his inability to win a ring for so long leads people to view him as a big loser.
Kobe's kinda like Bill Russell. Never shot at 50% FG, low(er) PER, had solid teammates who'd bail him out sometimes, but wins rings.

@cb4allstar4 it doesn't mean he shoots his team into losses necessarily. The majority of the games where he shot over 30 field goals were probably during the post shaq-kobe era where he was forced to shoot a lot of tough shots. This is also when the team was at there worst too, which coincides with the shot forcing. It doesn't make sense to bring up the 6/24 because it's less than 30 FG and both teams in that game shot under 41%, it was mostly a defensive game.

Lebron kinda reminds me (aside from all the untouchable records) of a pre-'67 Wilt: He's the most athletic / talented; a physical specimen like no other in the league. His stats are impressive (excluding free throws), high PER, but his inability to win a ring for so long leads people to view him as a big loser.
Kobe's kinda like Bill Russell. Never shot at 50% FG, low(er) PER, had solid teammates who'd bail him out sometimes, but wins rings.

The majority of the games where he shot over 30 field goals were probably during the post shaq-kobe era where he was forced to shoot a lot of tough shots. This is also when the team was at there worst too, which coincides with the shot forcing. It doesn't make sense to bring up the 6/24 because it's less than 30 FG and both teams in that game shot under 41%, it was mostly a defensive game.

@AllKobe24 look, people say that LeBron might give up a huge shot in a crucial game, for a better shot, like this season vs OKC if you watched it or not you can youtube it LeBron had a good look for 3 from the right elbow and Green came to help it clearly looked like he was going to shoot but gave it to Eddie House a much better 3pt shooter from a much better spot from the corner and more wide open, search up "kobe why we hate" see ballhoggin aint so great

@cb4allstar4 "Kobe: Why We Hate" is such a pathetic video. The clock was running out. If Kobe passed it to Odom then he wouldn't have made the 3 because a guy would of been closing out on him and plus he is only a 31% 3 point shooter. A pass to Brian Cook wouldn't have made it and someone could've stolen it from the distance. Kobe would pass it to someone, but its that he doesn't trust his team mates enough. The only person he would give the ball to in that position would be Derek Fisher.

@AllKobe24 exactly, kobe tries to win by himself, LeBron tries to win games with a team, I think we learned in elementary school that ballhogs arent the best players, look at Kobe vs Boston 41 points, 0 assists are you joking me also he missed almost all his shots in the last 5 minutes and now that LeBron has reliable teammates, he can win games he knows whether to take the big shot or not

@cb4allstar4 41 Points, 0 assists? Ok, I get what you're saying if the player's don't get lots of assists then there a ballhog. So what your saying is Melo, Durant, Howard, Amare, Hakeem, Malone, Shaq, Russel, Chamberlain, Nowitzki, and all those other players who don't get a lot of assists are ballhogs.

@cb4allstar4 WTF are you talking about? Do they take the same amount of shots as Kobe? Yes they do! Kobe takes what? 17-20? That's what the Stars on teams do. Lebron takes 18 shots. Wade takes 18 shots. Monta takes 20 shots. Durant takes 19 shots. 60 career games with 0 Points? I don't see what having 0 points has to do with hogging the ball you could be 0/0 with 0 points or 0/100 with 0 points. Post players get 50%+ FG. Guards usually don't and it has nothing to do with being a ballhog or not.

@AllKobe24 whoops I meant 0 assists, lol 60 career games with 0 assists haha how can anyone ballhog THAT much? and to let you know, Kobe's had the worst 30+, 40+ shooting nights in NBA history, I remember one of them being 17/47 shooting, 30 missed field goals by one player lmao no one does that and do Dirk, Monta, etc try to win games by themselves? I thought so and LeBron scores more while taking less shots and NEVER has 40 points 0 assists more like 50 points triple double
