  • I want to make love to his voice...and to him :)

  • For all of those wanting to learn Welsh, check out the site "Say Something in Welsh." It's excellent, and free! Ti'n mynd i licio siarad Cymraeg! (You are going to like speaking Welsh!) :-)

  • When he talks, he looks like the standard ex-jock next door. When he sings, his face and his whole body transforms into something else entirely, (Not that Meat Loaf is not a good person to be--a friend of mine from U of H is a close friend of his, now.)

  • Bryn Terfel is the best male singer alive!

  • Meat Loaf!

  • @thesir27 Idiot

  • I have just started uploading welsh songs/versions of songs not regularly found on youtube.....check my updates :)

  • sut nu gay

  • teda ten ale ztloustnul

  • fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 嗯~~他真的很棒~~bravo

  • I would like though to know what he is saying :) if someone is so kind to write a translation, that would be so nice!! thank you!!!

  • @loredinusa I'm afraid my Welsh is very rusty but basically he's talking about some of the singers who are going to be at the Faenol festival and looking forward to the event. (I think!! He spends some time identifying several by their fach and nationality e.g. the German soprano Diana Damrau.) Sorry I can't do better but I suppose it's better than nothing. Lovely man, lovely video.

  • I'll teach you Welsh . I'm n Wales though :(

  • Chware teg. Thanks for posting Brym. Diolch yn fawr iawn i ti. Cymru am Byth.

  • I'd love to learn Welsh, if anyone would know a Welsh language instructor in or near Kansas City let me know.

  • @CluainSharoise I don't know if you're still looking for a Welsh instructor, or if you still want to learn to speak Cymraeg, but there is an excellent course called Say Something in Welsh, which I am using right now. I can say a phenomenal number of things already, and I am less than half-way through the Introductory Course (which is totally free!). Check it out - dw i'n meddwl byddi di'n licio fo! :)

  • @HarmonicNature Thanks! I'll take a look at it.

  • @CluainSharoise Croeso - you're welcome!

  • I love Bryn, even when I don't understand him.

  • I love that no one speaks welsh except the welsh, lol.

  • I had a lecturer in Bangor university who had a very precise Oxford RP accent. She had learned Welsh and spoke it with the same accent. Sounded weird.

JRR Tolkien also spoke Welsh. It is possible to learn it.

  • Ok. But not many do. Tolkien was a bit of a leg end.

  • damn straight, it's the divine language :D

  • @flaze3 Is that why there are more than 15,000 people from all around the world (and believe me, not all of them have any ties at all to Wales) learning to speak Welsh with "Say Something in Welsh" course? Ti ddim yn gwybod beth ti'n dweud! :)

  • @HarmonicNature well congrats to you :) I think I'd prefer to learn a more widely spoken lang tho--such as Japanese :)

  • @flaze3 To each his own... :) It's a very beautiful and special language, though, and more widely spoken than many think. :)

  • I don't speak Welsh... but it sounds lovely! Does Bryn speak with an accent? I don't know.

  • quite obviously

  • Of course it's lovely. It is the language of Heaven, after all. ;)

  • Bryn Terfel is a phenominal singer, Im a new fan of his and he is just simply amazingly talented !
