It's a show that, for whatever reason, is well-written, with characters that aren't one-dimensional. Its humor is surprisingly deep for a children's show, and the amount of references it throws in boggles the mind. (2001: A space Odyssey, Star Trek TNG, Star Wars episodes IV and V, and The Big Lebowski to name a FEW)

It's also conspicuously free of irony and cynicism. Just a good time, basically.
