  • this is nice man, real nice shit , ima get this mic, what program do you use to record ?

  • @Makaveli152pac Thanks man! I used FL Studio. Subscribe to my other channel, passthejaya - for more music!

  • I got a berhinger c1-u, loved it, then it mysteriously broke, got it replaced (great customer service) then the replacement broke too, (im guessing a bad batch during the manufacturing process), and im looking for an alternative mic to use for rapping. I got a bunch uploaded on my channel, lemme know what you think, for my style what kind of mic i should get

  • @BigDogStoryTime I would go with the audio technica at2020. Its what I use right now and has way better quality and sound than this one. Check it out. You can see what I mean with my videos on my username, passthejaya.

  • @Djdan0731 thanks a lot man, I'm going for it.

  • @BigDogStoryTime Cool. Let me know when you upload some new songs using it. I'll check them out!

  • @Djdan0731 will do, it should be arriving soon, i got an original song ready to record as soon as it gets here, i'll send it your way soon as I can.

  • hello please I wanted to know how did you set it up there because I also lho behringer c1 u still have not figured out how to set it, if you please send me the video greetings, thanks!

  • @dettagliotv the C1U just plugs in and should be immediately available to select as a recording device, depending on what program you are using it with it will be selectable from a list of a couple other options.

  • -Nice song man! I got here because i purchased the same mic some days ago and I'm waiting for it. Sounds awesome, I also use FLstudio. Keep it up man!

  • @xanhellxamayax Thanks man! This mic is a steal for the price and it works really well with FL studio so it should work great for you. If you have any questions, let me know! Also, let me know when you start uploading your stuff - I'll check it out!

  • Nice song. Would be good if you could make a tutorial on the things you use to mix this on FL, cos this quality is damn good for the equipment!

  • @FutureWasYesterday Thank you! Unfortunately I no longer record in FL because my windows pc crashed. I now use a mac with garage band to record. *I am contemplating getting a cheap pc though so I can do the tutorials. I have had several people asking me to make them. Thanks for checking out my vid and if you have any questions on mixing and mastering in FL, feel free to ask it in the comments here! I'll be more than happy to help anyone out. It is actually pretty easy!

  • Hi my C1U works fine in audacity..but with other DAW application like FL studio, reaper, cubase etc..its produces a lot of clipping noise after about 2 minutes of recording...until the playback of the DAW gets slower and fuzzy...Can you give me some idea on how it worked good in FL Studio with the ASIO drivers.

  • @pathakbidyut After I installed the ASIO Driver, it just seemed to fix any issues that I was having. I am thinking that the clipping and fuzzy sound that you are hearing is probably because the mic isnt receiving enough power. Because it is powered by usb, it draws that power from the usb port, and then uses more of that power in order for you to record. Double check to see if you are using USB 2.0 ports. Also, look into the ASIO4all if you havent yet. That might fix everything for you.

  • check out my records i recorded with this mic! "You The Boss" and Martians Vs. Goblins".

  • @DaKidiceTV will do! Thanks for checking out my video!

  • Well if you using the c1u with mixcraft, you can adjust the mic volume from there...It will boost the sound from a low level to a maximum level and should fix any weak audio problems.

  • well the sound is a little weak. Do you use a mic pre-amp for it? Isit even possible to use a pre-amp with it?:))

  • @TibiG87 Nope, I never used a pre-amp. Are you still recording in cool edit? That may be the issue. I would try the C1-U with some other software. Also, have you looked into the sound driver, ASIO4all? That helped fixed any problems with the mic having a low volume.

  • Bro sorry for answering to you so late but yeah man if you can send it to me i would appreciate it

  • @referralhelper ok, sounds good. I'll shoot it over.

  • what about cool edit pro? does it work with this mike?i mean the volume

  • @TibiG87 I never tried cool edit pro with the Behringer C1u. I have used it with no problem in FL studio and garageband though. All the software programs should work with the mic... However, some may not use it to its fullest potential. Let me know if you try it with cool edit pro though. I would be curious to see how well it does.

  • i heard its a very good mike but the volume is to low is this true?because i just ordered the mike

  • @TibiG87 I wouldnt say it is true in my opinion. However, I have read a lot of mixed reviews online where people are saying that the C1-U is having volume issues.

A lot of the people that are having problems seem to be using different software than what I recorded in. I used FL studio and installed/used the ASIO4all driver. Check those out when you get your Behringer mic!

  • i will buy this mic too brutal for 50 eur........

  • @UnderGroundMuzikZ No doubt. The C1-U is a ridiculously good mic for that price range.. Let me know if you have any questions or issues with it. I will be more than happy to help!

  • that shit is tight, plus i just ordered that microphone, so i hope to spit my shit with some good quality too ^^

  • @MisterSrm Nice! For sure. Let me know if you need any more info or help with the behringer C1-U. I also know a lot about recording, mixing, and mastering as well. I'll look forward to your uploads!

  • Teraz wiem, że mogę śmiało kupować : )

Now I know that I can safely buy ; ) Poland dzifko!.

    5.!

  • @PawulonTv Great! Let me know if you have any questions about the behringer c1-U!

  • @Djdan0731 What kind of shockmount do you have?

  • @nijloracressiv It is the Samson SP01 Shockmount Spider Mount for Condenser Mics. It also works with the behringer C1-U as well. I bought the mic, shock mount, stand, and pop filter as a package through amazon for around $100. Let me know if you have any more questions!

  • @Djdan0731 do you know if the USB version of the mic fits in the shockmount?

  • @nijloracressiv Yes. I used the Behringer C1-U usb microphone with that shockmount and it screws right in no problem.

  • BIG UP FROM POLAND MAAAN!

  • @DiegoStudioRecords AWESOME! Thanks. Check out my other channel, passthejaya for more of my new music!

  • i have this microphone too. How you mix/mastering your vocal?

  • @AlmoOsT14 Nice. I mix and mastered this song completely in FL Studio. I recorded the vocals identically, twice, and then adjusted the levels of those from there. I also believe I added in some additional vocals to thicken up certain bars. (only at a low volume though) I really tried to focus on making the vocals powerful without jeopardizing clarity or the volume of the track behind it.

  • Progresssssss !

  • @AjmiU2b Thank you! I will have more music posted soon. Check out my new channel, PasstheJaya

  • kurwa zajebiste! :D

i wish you all the best man ;)

  • @OnlyEldorado Thank you! Stay tuned for more music and if you havent yet, check out my music channel - passthejaya

    Thanks again!

  • what program did you use to record this?

  • @YoungGreedzWest I used FL Studio 9 XXL Producer Edition w/a Behringer C1-U mic.

  • hey bro. Whats this instrumental ?.

  • @MrMalikBryant for this rap, the instrumental is a beat called, "Juicy". I do not know who made it either - sorry.

  • Great stuff!

Getting this mic for christmas (:

  • @MA12Tx Thanks! Let me know how it works for you!

  • do you know how many times i repeated this???

  • thank you. :) this shit is amazing, brings me back to 2000. :)

  • @nozty niceee... Im uploading a song tonight on my other channel /passthejaya - check it out!

  • @Djdan0731 ay man , I got this mic & it has a Green led light , & the volume is superlow , I turned every possible volume to the max & its still LOW , HELP !!

  • @ballerliban1 make sure you have covered adjusting the volume and sensitivity of the mic within your OS and the software you are recording in. Also, if you havent yet, make sure you go to the website and download the latest drivers for the mic. Let me know if you need more help.

  • @Djdan0731 whats an OS ? ,, & ok imma try that ,, & imma get back to u if I need anything else .... Thanks for the help bro. most people dont comment back ,, thats why I subscribed :)

  • @ballerliban1 an OS is your operating system for ex. Windows, Mac, Linux...

  • @Djdan0731 it says It has the latest drivers already .. but still no volume ,,, is ur led light green or blue ?

  • @ballerliban1 The LED on the behringer C1-U mic I bought was green. However, I am looking into the other behringer C1-U microphones online and I am seeing blue LED's. Make sure you have gone into your settings and switched the microphone input on your computer to the c1-u. Also make sure it's assigned as the input in the software you are recording in. What software are you using the c1-u mic for?

  • @Djdan0731 & im using Audacity Software

  • @ballerliban1 Ok. Well I have noticed that people have some issues with the behringer C1-U volume and recording in audacity. Honestly, Audacity is fine to start out with, but I would definitely focus on other software like FL studio or something of the same equivalent.. Even though the Behringer C1-U mic works in Audacity, it still doesn't perform as well as it can in other programs like FL Studio and/or garageband. I would try some of those out and see if you have better luck.

  • @ballerliban1 @ballerliban1 I looked into a little more for you. Apparently, the led will go blue when it receives phantom power, if yours stays green then it must not be receiving it. Its weird because I always recorded in green and never had an issue. It may be your USB port that is the problem. Make sure you have USB2. Try the behringer mic in different USB ports.

Also, now that I remember, I downloaded this driver called ASIO4All. Try that.

    Link: asio4all.com

  • @Djdan0731 you recorded while it was green but you still have good quality,, I want mine too be like yours bro

  • @ballerliban1 Did you try downloading the ASIO4all driver? That might work!

  • @Djdan0731 I did.. but what does that have to do with the microphone ? i downloaded it but its doin nothin

  • @ballerliban1 Have you opened up the ASIO4all software and assigned the C1-U in the devices?

  • @PasstheJaya yes but im guessing that driver doesnt work with Windows 7

  • @ballerliban1 it does, just go on youtube and search for videos that shows u how do connect it

  • @2Buxz ok wait

  • @2Buxz how do you open a instrumental in Fl studio ??

  • @ballerliban1 I used to just open the audio file in FL Studio. I believe its File>Open>blah.mp3

From what I can remember, it should place the audio track in there for you to record over. There may also be a drag and drop style for it where you can just drag the audio file from a folder into FL Studio - which should place the audio file accordingly.

  • @Djdan0731 bro I got the volume thing working but still doesnt sound like good quality ,, is there any effects that u used ?

  • @ballerliban1 There is a lot that goes into getting good vocals. The mic will give you a good sound but you have to focus on the engineering behind it and the mixing in software. One thing that I learned when I started out was doubling up your vocals. If you double them up, they will be much thicker and fuller sounding. As far as FL Studio, mess around the Chorus, Reverb, and maybe some Delay here and there. Practice makes perfect!

  • @Djdan0731 im using audacity lol Fl costs money & I dont got that

  • @Djdan0731 what do those effects do ?

  • @Djdan0731 aye man,, My microphone is acting up - it turns on then off real quick ... whats wrong ?

  • @2illOfficial try plugging the mic into different usb ports. Sometimes the mic will shut off or not function correctly when it is not receiving enough power. Also, if you can, make sure you plug the C1-U into a usb 2.0 port if you can. Let me know if that works!

  • @PasstheJaya u never had this problem ?

  • behringer c1u - samson C01U, what is better?

  • @yusuf1608 - Well in this kind of mic range, $0-$100, it really depends on what you prefer as a brand. Both of the mics are going to perform around the same. The samson might be a little more expensive, by like $20 or so. but personally, I prefer the Behringer. I've always been a fan of their products. Both should give you a similar sound though.

  • @Djdan0731 Thanks for the info. However, what would you say are the main drawbacks, if any?

  • @yusuf1608 No problem! The drawbacks of the Samson, im unaware of. As for the Behringer C1-U, the only drawback/issue that I ever ran into were some small latency issues. This only occurred when I used the mic with windows XP and FL Studio, where the mic would be a half second too late. It was easy to fix and didn't ever obstruct me from making music like this.

When I plugged the mic into my macbook pro on the other hand, NO ISSUES. Hope this helped!

  • @Djdan0731 Indeed it has and many thanks!

  • @Djdan0731 After much research it is a tie between the Blue Yetti or the At2020. I am leaning more towards the Yetti purely on the basis I don't been to buy a stand as it’s big enough. However, no shock mount is available for the yeti as it’s too big. In your opinion is a sock mount essential? Then the Yeti saves me about $40 removing the extras needed for the AT2020 i.e. stand and sock mount.

  • @Djdan0731 Bro one quick question,, how do u get the beat & the voice together ? do u play the beat in the background from the Cpu ?? sorry if its a dumb question im new to this & im trynna get that mic :)

  • @ballerliban1 First, get some recording or mixing software first. (ex. FL Studio, Audacity, etc..) Then, Bring the instrumental you would like to use into the software and record from there. When I record, I connect the mic into the computer, locate the settings/preferences and make sure that its connected fine. Then I look for the record button located within the software. In most cases, this will trigger the beat to start playing and you can then record into the program live, using the mic.

  • @ballerliban1 - Also, When recording, I put on headphones so no audio from the computer speakers reach the mic and distort my voice. You want your vocals to be clear and on time. Turn off anything that may make noise in the background and that will improve the audio recording significantly. After recording in the software as I stated, you should then be able to play back both your audio recording and beat at the same time (Answering your question of how to put the vocals and beat together)

  • @Djdan0731 Wow, thanks bro exactly what I needed

  • @ballerliban1 No problem man! Let me know if you have any other questions. Ill be more than happy to help!

  • better to kick it oldschool bro , this new club bang shit on the radio is whack !

  • @EAZYLUX - Agreed

  • that beat is HECTIC !

  • @EAZYLUX - Yea thats what I was thinking too! I really enjoy working with less popular instrumentals that have a really nice sound to them like this one. Thanks for checking out my video!

  • good shit

  • @moodle41654 Thanks! Check out my most recent vid on the channel!

  • sick beat and sick rapping you have flow

  • @backbypoupulardemand Thanks man! I have some of my newer stuff up. Check it out in my channel!

  • Esta genial!! :D

  • @supertutosXD Thank you!

  • man just perfect ;)

eminem is baby for you :P

  • @magnetix97 are you saying you think I sound like eminem?

  • How do u record on fL studio?

  • @ZackZaneMusic I looked it up on Youtube. Its pretty simple, you just have to have the right mic and get the recording process down. I might do a tutorial on here if your interested. Lmk and thanks for checking out the vid!

  • did you use a pop filter?

  • @rickallenkinney . Yes I did. I actually bought the mic with the stand and the popfilter, (along with the shockmount) for around $80. You can probably get a pop-filter for a couple of bucks on Amazon though. Also, if you want to be real cheap with it - use a hangar with pantyhose over it. Its a little ghetto, but Its the same thing.

  • Nice music man, came about your channel searching for the quality of the mic defiantly gonna get this one, and subb'd keep it up you got a good flow man

  • @MA12Tx Awesome! Thanks for checking out my music and I hope the mic treats you as well as it treated me lol. Im sure it will. It has good sound!

  • @MA12Tx please sub to my music page for more music

    username: passthejaya

    Thanks!

  • where did you get the instrumental from??

  • @referralhelper I actually got it from an instrumental pack. Im not sure who the artist who made it is either. Would you like me to send it to you?

  • bn

  • @XXXellaboratorioXXX Thank you! Remember to subscribe because im coming out with my new mixtape late this winter!

  • nice song man!! and the mic.. I just ordered it :)) cuz I've only got the money for it and nothing more :) I'll be happy to make a song with U from a distance.. U know mixin and shit :) will be cool

  • @BladeDayBreak Thanks man! Yes, its a great mic for the price and definitely gets the job done. Im sure we could collab on a track, just shoot me the info to my inbox. Glad you liked it and thanks again!

  • this mic was the worst money i ever spent (behringer c-1u usb condenser mic)

  • @MrLoui318 Really? I had alot of good use out of it. I did try it in some other programs like audacity and a few others and the quality wasnt the same. As long as you know how to engineer and get the right sound, I think the mic is a steal for the price.

  • @Djdan0731 yeah i mean it is worth the money i guess it just wasnt for me it was good to learn the basics i know how to mix and master and i just couldnt get that quality i wanted but i got a xlr mic and its amazing almost sounds pro

  • @Djdan0731 So, This mic and Cool Edit Pro is good solution?

  • @Dizel16 It may? I have never tried it with Cool Edit pro. It works pretty easy and well with Garageband for mac, and definitely works well in FL Studio for the pc. I tried it in Audacity and there were some latency issues that you have to work around with so I wouldn't use that.

  • this is soo sik man for real keep listerning to this

  • @pakiplease Thank you! Im glad you like it that much. Stay tuned!

  • dude for real that was wit that microphone geee >?

  • @pakiplease Yes. Its a great mic for how cheap it is. I would go one step up and get the Audio Technica at2020 though.

  • @Djdan0731 How long, you use this mic?

  • @Dizel16 I used it for around a year and a half. If you are looking to get a pretty decent sound for an extremely cheap price, I suggest checking it out. Simple plug and play and gets the job done fine. THanks for checking out my vid and let me know if you have any other questions!

  • Nice man! check me out! im a 15 year old rapper, new in the game! i just ordered this mic, is it good ?

  • do you use the samson spo1 shockmount ?

  • @iJericoMesina , I use the Behringer C1-U. As far as the shockmount, you can find one just like that on Ebay. I do not know if it has a specific brand but most mics should be compatible with it.

  • is that a behringer c1 mic u use ?

  • @szkcs Yea, Its a really good mic for how cheap it is.

  • PERFECT YO check out my raps dude

  • @JulioLuttrell1993 Thanks man! Will do!
