There was a point--between the gangly teenaged boy and the ruined old man, from about '68 to '78--when Keith Richards was a beauty. But my God, is he ever frightening now.

that is the most true thing i ever heard said about keith. around 79-80 his hair went grey, and his face started caving in. I think it was due to the fact that after cleaned up from smack he started drinking real heavy and his coke intake increased. Recent pictures have looking alright for a man his age and what he went through. he was tanned and had put some weight on. i think after his fall keith has saved the vodka and smokes for dramatic effect during interviews.

I've watched this video quite abit over the yrs. for it's well done & Keith is my hero. Your right, were only young once & Keith burned both ends. His face is "weathered", but he still moves quite well. I think the fall hurt him some.

I think anyone honest with themselves would realize The guy has been on the road for a better part of 45 years. Kicked Heroin and coke and is going business as usual. To my knowlege, he and woody still drink quite a bit. I think if alcohol was their primary vice, they would both be dead by now. I hope they stick around a while.

Richards is far more innately muscular, energetic and charismatic than most of the bald, fat, and stressed 65 yr old losers that I know. His overall physique looks like that of a man half his age, which is mostly due to genetics, not lifestyle. It's his face that's aged but that too is genetic. I personally know four men under 60 who dropped dead from heart disease. They were all non smokers, and lived 'clean' lives; but they were also anal retentive/stressed and had short lived relatives.
