my shih-tzu gave birth when she was only 8months old. when the puppies were coming out, she was kind of loud (crying, and all). she also didnt want to lick the babies / help them get out of the sack. it was kind of sad to watch her looking so confused. good thing my sisters and i were there to help her. :)
