Okay, that's where your wrong dude. Every time a developer puts out sequel to a franchise they should ALWAYS update the engine. Otherwise, it's just sloppy game development and shows that the developers do not care. Not gonna lie, the campaign look good as always but majority of the time with Call of Duty games when you get your hands on the final product, you find out that the game sucks. I don't see why Activision has to rush out a new game every year.

To be honest, I couldn't care less about multiplayer OR the fact that it's the same graphics engine. The campaign looks sick and I like the same engine with a few tweaks. Why fix a graphics engine that isn't broken?

@endertwelve good thing companies don't carry that mentality or we would all be watching black and white tv's. It's all about immersion, and high quality graphics coupled with an interactive environment will make for a more enjoyable experience.

@compta38 But as I said before, in my opinion, the graphics are STILL high quality in today's society. It's not broken and it's only tweaked a bit. So it's technically the same engine but it is advanced a bit. To me, the graphics STILL look good. Even MW2 still looks like a next-gen game. Until Crysis 2 came in :P

While I totally agree with you on the posers, I'm personally not too fond of the storyline. I'm not even putting it against great war novels-- just the genre in general. It's sub-par. They ask the audience to swallow a lot of incredible ideas, like the supposed bottomless pit of humanity that is Russia (Note: Russia = 150 mil, U.S. alone is 300 mil), the notion that they would go to war with the rest of the world over a single terrorist act, etc.

Im going to get Battle Field 3 because Modern Warfare 3 its just going to look the same as Modern Warfare 2, the people look a glossy which i dont like a lot. Battle Field 3 is way more realistic and its more intense. So Im going to get Battle Field 3
