  • That was TRULY impressive.

  • How c an the car do it without stalling or the engine wrecking?

  • No wake zone buddy

  • LIKE A BOSS!

  • I've done something like that on our Land Cruiser.. The main thing is do not stop.

  • how to drive through a flood? the answer is simple; don't. reroute or wait it out.

  • it aint hard if you know how just don't break your wave

  • God dammit! and it was just a Nissan Frontier. Gonna have me one of those :D

  • Point where you wanna go and floor it. It'll make it through as long as you stay on the gas and the air intake doesn't suck up water.

  • that's why I own a nissan titan! You see that chevy stop when it got to the water?! it was like HELL NO I AIN'T GOING THROUGHT THAT! LMAO!

  • That man did not give 2 fucks

  • damn he mobbed that shit. the whole damn car was almost under water

  • Thats a Nissan for you.

  • my jeep is in the shop now cause i tried doing that.....

  • mother fckn doing WORK

  • ESTE TIPO SABE LO QUE HACE , Y ESTOS DOS de QUE carajo se rien ?!!!

  • What I wonder is if you really really wanted to be crazy and try and cross something with a car, could you get away with going backwards so that the engine compartment isn't exposed first? We don't do floods like that in SC...at least not on my side of the state.

  • @wyoonthefirst i live in st louis mo. we get floods like that its not the engine compartment ya gotta worry about its the muffler so no driving backwards would get u nowere fast if ths guy let off the gas one time he would of been stuck he did a good job but i woulda went around no tellin the long term effects after this

  • @jjrrhh11 Even if the engine is idling there is enough pressure to keep water out of the exhaust, hell the exhaust can be filled to the catalytic converter and you'd still be able to restart it.

You have to keep the intake clear, if it can breathe, it can drive.

  • @0rganDon0r why does the engine not lock up?

  • @akinorhan5 Because the engine has oil in it?

  • @wyoonthefirst if u tried it in a car which i have an will again ya just kinda hammr down on it an go for it

  • that guy just said im getting the fuck outta here haha

  • It's possible that person might be used to flooding, and has their air intake box turned backwards so that it can take on water all day long, so long as it does not stop, the water doesn't trickle in. Or the intake sits high enough on the engine, or is sealed well. Looks like a new vehicle, so yeah.

  • wow how did he not hydro lock? how did his tires not lift off the ground and drift? wow thats crazy

  • Throw her in 1st, and give er' hell!

  • put gear into D2 and keep gas pedal down all the way.

I did that in a honda element. with gas pedal down all teh way I was only doing 4mph

  • I know what my next truck ids going to be

  • My house is below sea level and the water has never came up....

  • this guy has ball even though nissans blow!!!!!

  • Siiiiiccccckkkkk

  • Nissan man

    its a Nissan

  • Nissan frontiers have the most reliable engines zero electrical problems the damn engines are bullet proof!

  • @Jenabzadeh1 no engine is bulletproof and second i dont care what motor u have, if u suck water in your done for he got lucky bottom line and every car has electrical probs if cars didn't i wouldn't have a job, my bronco is on 40s and with enough water ya my motor will blow everything will with enough water

  • he had the engine from the red october submarine

  • i swear theres a hidden snorkel on that thing

  • u can wiv NISSAN

  • That truck just defied all logic, and blew my mind. It should have swamped 5 different times in that video, the hood was under water!!! He even sped up! His truck was blessed.

  • reminds me of yogscast

  • Nissan driver WIN!!

  • lol I doubt he got much further than around the corner after this.

  • take it nice and slow creating a bow wave but just for caution its smart to have a snorkel

  • I am suprised it didnt hydrolock

  • I bet it was the driver the one laughing in the end....

  • that's a fuckin Nissan Frontier for sure...lucky moment for sure...still your fucking crazy spenting on repairing your truck again,,,,

  • hahahaha chuck norris ! hahaha good job

  • I went through 12 inches of water very slow.... needed new alternator, new battery

new coils etc....Don't chance it... engine belt will.. pull water up into compartment.

  • @TheDavfit What the hell were you driving? I drive through that much water (or twice that) in my stock jeep every few weeks when I go offroad or camping. It's like, 13 years old, and perfectly fine

  • @TheDavfit well you kinda have to go fast but at the same time slow enough to where its not gonna get sucked up through your airfilter

  • It's interesting how if he makes it he's "the man", but if he gets stuck, he's a "total moron".

  • @DudewithdaShades thats right

  • lmao they were jealous because their hybrid drowned >:)

  • as long as the water does not get into the air intake and you have momentum there should be no problem since you are pushing the water around the front of the vehicle.

  • sounds like the mexican guy on family guy :)

  • Did you say "White trash"? In Wisconsin?! In that situation? There?? That's disturbing in at multiple levels.

  • he is a champ lol

  • fuck the fat asses doing the commentary are annoying.

  • One word: NISSAN.

Damn many years ago I owned a nissan it was 13yo when I bought it and it was UNKILLABLE (hatchback not a truck)

  • HARDCORE

  • 0:55 definitely a nissan frontier

  • I can do that

  • how is that thing still going?

  • @Hello3427956704 how? damn man it's not a ford lol

  • at 1:02 that other truck was like fuck that ill just cut through the parking lot hahah

  • i bet this started with hey watch this

  • Excellent example of how to drive through water. This guy was no amatuer.

  • i remember that day...nicely done

  • what kind of truck was it.?

  • @DakotaCrazy12 looks like a colorado or canyon

  • and thats how its dun

  • how did his engine not get hydro-locked??!

  • @DallasStars248 the wave he made pushed the water out and the fan pusher what littil water git in out.

  • @DallasStars248 cause the motor didnt shut off its all bout skill here id say

  • that dudes a badass

  • lol, whoa, this could be a Nissan commercial.

  • It looked like a Nissan Frontier... My Nissan is though in deep floods it's unbelievable they don't stall that easily...

  • other driver was like.. "wow" i wanna try.. ended up stall.. XD

  • WOW

  • I did a similar thing in my diesel citroen zx when i followed a discovery underneath a railway bridge which came over my bonnet and had my headlights flashicg on and off. It came over the rear bumper of the disco and at that point my bottom was REALLY clenched:)

  • PEOPLE, THAT'S how you are supposed to drive through deep water. You create a bow wave which builds up in front of the car and leaves a trough where the engine is. You could see it as he got closer to the camera.

  • As long as you maintain the bow wave the engine, electrics and more importantly, the air in take are technically below the level of the water, but actually in fresh air. If you fail to make a bow wave or drive too fast and go through it, then that's when you get a wet spark and suck in water and listen to the bang as a con rod exits the engine block. Of course, knowing the depth of the water is considered to be quite important by some:)

  • that not even deep. american cars are pants!!!!

  • BALLS OF STEEL.

  • all i can say is that guy has balls for trying that

    ...guts for glory

  • wow some people..That looks like a nissan, and as long as the distributor don't get flooded and it has air it won't stall..That's all engines need to run..air, fuel, spark!! And I highly doubt it was pushing the water away from the engine lol...and yea diesels are better for driving in floods all they need is air n fuel..

  • what's so funny you fucken rats?

  • haha rats? lol what does that make you a kitten were the big dogs that eat kittens

  • lol. oh God, cant stop laughing.

  • he has a sealed distributer cap

  • can't believe it, I cant do that without snorkels

  • woow i cant belive it! he keeps goin like the energizer bunny... LOL!

  • Nissan Frontier FTW! haha

  • its a diesel jeep..coursde it will go through waterford as long as the water doesnt go near the airflow intake

  • That's NOT a Jeep product. I agree with others here that it's a Nissan. What we all want to know (but will NOT know) is is that truck modified at all to ford water like that?

  • @jonjeny well no shit cherlock if you cut off the air intake with water. its gonna stall

  • "cherlock" lol..was i talking to you eh NO!! .. i was replying to someone else..GOBSHITE lmao

  • wow!

  • The fool made it (lol).

  • What happened to the "Turn Around, Don't Drown" adage?

  • TheMostWantedR1

    1. "Turn Around, Don't Drown" is a Texas thing. No one say that that up north.

    2. "Turn Around, Don't Drown" is for flowing / rushing water, not standing water.

    3. The truck maybe equipment to run in water.

Old M-series military trucks were designed to do this. In fact it was required training for all drivers with in a combat unit.

  • that guy is the fuckin man

  • @Chiliosthethird Chuck Norris was driving that truck.

  • @bertdiaz35 good one

  • he should take a detour on to another route

  • well when a gotta get some where you gotta do what ya gotta do lol

  • that truck is pretty strong .. lol

  • Yeah, Its a Nissan Navara

  • That's unbelievable!

  • Thats a Nissan Frontier!

  • as long as the air box is still gettin air itll stay running, fuel injected cars are sealed up well.

  • navara i guess

  • cool wat truck is that

  • lol wow, pretty epic

  • Funny!
