Based on every car video I watch, it seems as though all cars are "gay" lol Both cars are fun to drive! srt-4 came up short this video, do not hate on the TC for that. It is about having fun with what you have and the pride in your tuning.
I have a dodge neon srt-4 with L-4 turbo and MSD mass induction. Please... That scion is toast. Whoever has the gonads to speak down on a SRT neon obviously dont know how awsome and fun it is to drive one. Sounds, looks, handling, all is three thumbs up. Eats mustang, and can hang with porche. Honda and toyota scion eater! It thrives on rice. This video doesnt do Dodge Srt justice. Srt-4 turbo off the lot will dust that scion 1.5 flat.
@silvercsrt The tC is a few thousand cheaper than an SRT4 (comparing new vs new). Don't need nothing but a bolt on turbo kit ($4k) to beat an SRT4 with a tC.
@rhythmnsmoke Now, I will give you that, scion's are cheap to mod and funny as hell to watch rape other cars but the problem is...at the end of the day as long as your happy whatever, but that car never will be respected. Branding and image is everything and it is also everything that car does not have.
@NancyPelosi1954 Respect is earned on a case by case basis. I don't give anyone respect just because of the brand car they drive. He could have a 911 Porsche and still be a douche bag and drive like an idiot. Fast cars don't make you an expert driver. I get plenty of respect out at the track and street. Brading of Scion is being "youthful and creative". They are blank canvas for the person to make what they want out of it. Hence why there are no Trim levels like you find on other cars.
@silvercsrt Definitely worth it for me, in my case. It's done me good over the years. Last track day I was out lapping a new 2010-2011 BMW M3, a modded Evo X and a lot of other cars. When I go out and lay down some times, it reminds me what I mod this car for. My new turbo setup has created a different bread of speed :)
I dare a TC to race me, the only time ill see u in front of me is when i give you a head start and when I'm looking at my rear view.. TC is slow pussy junk.. SRT4 is fast sexy junk
the srt4 is short shifting, and even if it was who fuckin cares. You spent 3 grand to beat a neon with $300 in it. Add a wastegate and the scion wont stand a chance. Scions are slow and gay, BTW I dont drive either of these cars.
@rhythmnsmoke I dont drive either because their both ugly as hell and FWD which is fail in my eyes. But you cant compare a roll race between a Srt4 thats correctly modded and a turbo scion -.- It would take a ton of work to get a scion to keep up with a 50trim srt4, which cost as much as your turbo kit on the scion. I have drove both, and the scion is comparable to a golf kart while the srt4 has a feel all its own, which is like shit after 100 mph.
@cmigneco A few Facts for you since it's apparent you have no idea what you are talking about. For starters, a tC at just 6lbs of boost is already faster than a Stock SRT4. At 6lbs it produces 230whp/230wtq. That is the least amount anyone ever runs. At 8-10lbs of boost on a tC you see 300whp/300wtq. Going on up to 12-14lbs on a stock motor tC puts you in the 350-400whp range.
@rhythmnsmoke Also, anyone modding a TC for a drag car is a retard, my drag car is a 95 cobra with a 347 stroker and a blower, which your scion would never stand a chance against. I make 489rwhp on an easy tune, with spray id be in the 10s with crap tires, which your scion will never see. I could care less what beats the STi, its my DD and still waste any N/a TC. @NancyPelosi1954 Who said anything about being superior? I'm a frequent track visitor. Nearly twice a month when in season. When I say car X, I am specifically talking about THAT car and THAT driver. Only ricers and noobs think they can beat every one of that car just because they beat that driver. Its not the first Z06 I have passed by the way. As for keeping cost down....a Civic SI is in the sub 20k range, it still has a lower trim level which is the standard Civic.
@rhythmnsmoke I don't doubt a tuned TC could pass a Z06 on a track, again it is all relative a tuned Z06 with a better suspension alone could out corner because of the RWD advantage.
@NancyPelosi1954 That's my point, at the track its about your setup and your skills. More Skills than setup. At the track you as a driver matter SO much more than the car you are driving. Just becaause you think its a Z06 and the other car is a tC does not mean automatic win for the Vette. I blew the doors of an EVO X, M3, Lotus Elise, Lotus Exige, kswap Honda Hatches...etc, at my last track day. My tC weighs 2550lbs currently.
@NancyPelosi1954 I don't look at cars as which one is the better platform, of course an M3, Z06, Lotus...etc than my Scion tC starts with. I only look at them in terms of..."Are you fast". I assume you don't have much track experience, but maybe you have heard this saying "A fast driver in a slower car is better than a slow driver in a faster car". This is 100% truth. Now this doesn't imply that my tC is slower either, cause its not. In a straight line I would pull all over the New M3

As for me, I don't drive anything terribly special, 2011 2.0t Sonata se, fun when you want it to be but still great for daily driving and gas mileage. @cmigneco I've raced a Hanh 20G upgraded SRT4 against my 20G boosted tC and I pulled him on the top end. Sorry to burst your bubble, but a 50trim SRT4 is not going to be leaps and bounds faster than a tC on a 50trim also. An SRT on 20lbs of boost isn't a 400whp car, but a tC on 20lbs of boost IS a 400whp car. So, you can't compare boost between two different cars. SRT4's are not Unbeatable, I've beaten them from stock to Stage 2 w/mods.
@cmigneco You think the SRT4 would be fast without a turbo? Get real trying to compare your testing of a stock tC to that of a turbo tC. Totally different situation. If it was a pussy with a turbo, then that must mean the Evo, STI, 350z, S2k, 240sx with RB/SR20 swaps on them that I've beaten with my turbo tC just pushing 8lbs of boost, that they were the biggest cunts of them all. @cmigneco And just another FYI for you, the tC in this video is in another video on here beating up on an STI, and just like in that video, the fanboys come in and spout dumb comments cause they don't know anything about the tC and think a boosted one is weak when it's not. This tC also ran 12.1-12.3's in the 1/4 mile. I knew this tC personally, cause the guy driving it also built the first turbo setup I had on my tC. There are 300, 400, 500, 600 and on up to 1000+whp tC's.

I see bone stock SRT4's with low miles go for 8 all day and they have a turbo stock. In the video your referring to, the STI bogs the launch, which is pathetic/sad.

I have vids of tC's chasing down and or running the same lap times as Modified R35 GTR's. That car is a complete world difference in "Stock vs Stock".
@cmigneco 9-11k? I see them for 6-8k. A used SRT4 is most likely or more prone to being beaten on vs a used non-boosted tC. You are buying Toyota Reliability when you buy a tC, so I don't mind paying for that. STI bogs off launch....LOL. Obviously that's not the case, because you wouldn't have stated that it was turboed. And obviously it wasn't turboed. He shouldn't have even lost with it being stock unless he just sucked at driving.
@rhythmnsmoke I have only run it in the 1/8th at a time of 7.5 @ 94mph. I did some math and it works out to 11's in the 1/4 mile. Ive got a new turbo and motor going in soon with meth injection so I should be having lots of fun at around 400whp.
@mccaf2250 You would match up pretty good with my tC then when I get my new turbo setup. Old turbo setup was good for 12's. New one should be good for 10-11's. But I only do drag strip when there isn't a Road Course HPDE day going on, as that's what I like to do the most.
@hollow121314 You know a 93 se-r doesn't come with a turbo right...oh wait but mine has a turbo. lol ya of course stock for stock srt's are faster because they make 100whp more than the scion stock. You also need to account for weight as my se-r weighing in at 1800lbs has beat many 380whp srt's when I was only making 230whp. Weight of the car makes a huge difference.

@rhythmnsmoke Actually, it wouldnt. A scion TC stock runs high 15's low 16's. 6psi on a moderate sized turbo will not jump them from 15 to mid to high 13's in the 1/4. Low boost doesnt meen just 6 psi. it could range from 10-20 psi, is low boost depending on the turbo. Anyways, point is a stock tc motor with a t3t4 on 6 psi will still run mid 14's
@Xtraordinary70 Actually it would. I own a tC dude. I've raced my tC going on 4yrs now. I've raced it stock. Stock tC's with a good driver do mid-low 15's not high. If you run 16's in a tC then you suck. 6psi on a tC is low boost, even 10psi is low boost sure, but I was going by the absolute lowest you usually find on a tC. If you run a t3/t4 @ 6psi then you are vastly below the efficiency of that turbine. The tC is good on stock internals till 14-16psi. That's 350-400whp.

@avengful When I raced the SRT4's though, my tC didn't weigh that, it weighed more since I had not took on the whole racing aspect of the game then. Now, It is my track car, and I race it on road course during HPDE and Time Attack days.

What I told you is "most likely" and if you don't think that's true then you must be living in another demision where SRT4's are driven like other cars are. 2005 SRT4 is 2,899lbs. 2006 Scion tC is 2,970lbs. A difference of 71lbs. When people talk/brag about a car being lighter than another car, they usually are referring to several hundred pound differences, not 71. My tC currently weighs 2,550lbs just fyi.
@avengful No where did I say women can't beat on cafs. I said you are more likely to find a tC in better condition based on the demographics that drive them. Dont sit there and pretend SRT4s are mostly driven like regular everyday cars. I would never buy a used turbo car unless I was looking to make it into a race only car. If you looked up stuff then you wouldn't assume the tC weighed more than the SRT4.

@avengful Simple, just look at the demographic that buys the vehicle. tC has a 50/50 sale ratio of buyers being both men and women. Women don't generally beat on the car. SRT on the other hand is largely driven by guys who want to race all the time. So chances of finding one that's stock or just used for daily driving is going to be a lot more difficult. Why are telling me its not all about big turbos? The tC weighs exactly the same as an SRT4 dude. The spec model tC weighs less.
@avengful A used tC will run you $6-8k, not $13. Most likely it will also be in better condition than a used and most likely Abused SRT4. You going to have to run a Stage 3 upgrade just to even keep up with my "so-called" heap. You can hate Scions just like I hate little rice boys on youtube talking about a car they have no clue about.

@artistickilla47 Well There great cars 12 pounds of boost from stock, and pushing out 232hp stock. As long as it hasn't been beat too much it will probably be a great car. 2.4s can take a serious beating too so. The thing will make its own racing stripes in your shorts if your not used to a fast car.
@1hitkillforu 12lbs of boost on a tC it will be pushing out 320-330whp/320-330+wtq. My boy just had his PTuning setup dynoed at 13lbs on a Mustang dyno. He put down 350whp/353wtq @ 13lbs of boost. tC stock internals are good for 350-400whp before needing internals.
There's no way a tc has anything on an srt4 unless you put some serious bank into it, like the one in this vid. With all the money you'd have to put into a tc to make it decently quick, you could be running 11s in an srt4. If you want a good bang-for-the buck car don't get the tc. That high compression engine wasn't built for boost so be prepared to do a hell of a lot of work.
@2ZZGECelica The SRT already cost more than a tC, so not sure what "Bang for the buck" equation you working with there. Secondly...don't take "serious bank" to beat an SRT4. $3k for a basic bottom of the line turbo setup on a tC would beat a stock SRT4. 6lbs of boost on a tC is 220-230whp/230wtq which is enough to beat the SRT4 with. Lastly....tC comes with a 9:6.1 compression ratio from the factory. That's not high compression dude. That's extremely low compression for a N/A motor imo.

Simply because its faster, all stage 1 stage 2 and stage 3 SRT-4's are really just a reflashed PCM with little bigger injectors wastegate blah blah blah, so other than s few small things they are almost stock and the Stage 3 pushes out430 BHP stock turbo a 50. trim puts down 3-468 depending on the tune. SRT's are probably the same as a used Scion now.
@PutzkiSniper I'm not talking about Stage 1,2,3 SRT-4s. I wouldn't sleep on an Stage 3 SRT cause I know those can be really quick. I've raced a Hahn's Racecraft 20G upgraded SRT4. He was running 14lbs of boost on the setup and I was running 11lbs of boost on my 20G setup on my tC. I pulled him on the top end. I have never made more than probably 330whp on my tC. Hard to tell since I never really had it dynoed except for when it was on just 7lbs of boost.

And if your making 330 WHP your probably like right on with my SRT-4 stage 2 bolt ons and when its pushing everything it does about 20 PSI if it was the stock 15 PSI I imagne it would be around 280-300 but then again I never got it dyno'd so I have no clue.
@PutzkiSniper That was my old setup. I won't be running 330whp anymore. That was on my 20G. New setup is going to be a GT3076R dual BB. And 95% of the turbo tC's on here are just normal daily driven tC's. A Stage 3 SRT4 although can be daily driven, I wouldn't consider it to run with a normal run of the mill turbo tC. Stg 3 guys would be considered pushing the limit. So, would need to be compared to a tC that's pushing the limit.
@rhythmnsmoke A friends friends has a EST. 700 HP SRT-4 thats daily driven so i was like wtf is done to it he wont tell me, I have seen the guys SRT, its blacked out with pillar gauges so im sure its tuned, if i was trying to make 700 BHP on an SRT-4 I would go with a DCR motor probably 50 trim and stage 2 ECU full bolt ons and crower cams im sure would take me there. Anyways that SRT-4 is daily driven. And I have thought about going stage 3 but I dont really need it..
@PutzkiSniper I'm faster than a Stg 2 with bolt-ons. I've raced a Stg 2 with bolt ons when I was just on 8lbs of boost (making probably 260whp) and I barely lost to him. I would pull on a Stg 2 w/bolt ons. My tC isn't meant for street roll races anymore though. I Road Race and Time Attack it. That's why it weighs 2550lbs now.

congrats on making power out of a Scion TC but you should take that pic of the srt-4 in the middle out because a scion tc will see that all day unless they use force induction and even then only close to stock srt's will lose to your car....come up against one with a little work done...you're fucked haha

A) Our gears do not come up that quick B) Modz List is a poor description of saying 19 psi , 3" dump, and (goodies: intake-which does nothing for SRT-4's). Don't say Goodies because DiabloSport tune would Have killed that TC effortless. Answer...FAKE!

@karnag30kc That's low 12's on a stock motor that is. Built motor....shit there are 9, 10, 11sec tC's, no big deal. There are street driven tC's with 650+whp/600wtq. Fastest FWD Time attack car in the states and possibly the world....guess what....is a Scion tC. Nothing to hype about when it's the damn truth. There is room in the tuner scene for plenty of cars, and the tC has some pretty good bragging rights under it's belt, not my fault you don't follow current motorsports to know it

@karnag30kc First off pay attention. Low 12's (12.1-12.2) on a stock motor, not a fully built one. Secondly an SRT4 is nothing special either, and did you forget....it's a neon with a turbo. No one claimed a tC was a sports car with money it. It performs great, otherwise it wouldn't be a 3 time Unlimited FWD class Time Attack title holder, record holder for about 10 tracks across the country, 2 time Modified FWD class Time Attack champs, and various other motorsports titles/championships.

@karnag30kc Stock 350z is slow in my opinion. Therefore a modded SRT4 loosing t me in my Z does not make me think SRT4s are balzing fast. Can they be? Sure, but so can any other car. What does that boil down to? Personal Preferance dude. And I prefer to be fast in my tC. And you haven't seen a tC take out a WRX? Lol...you should get out more. @karnag30kc Really, you don't say. I was quoting dynojet numbers. Also, the VQ35DE 350z is not 300hp, it's 280hp at the crank. At the wheels like I said, it's 230-240whp and heavier than an SRT4. The HR 350z are 300hp and 306hp depending on the year.
@karnag30kc Car has 9:6.1 compression from the factory on a N/A motor. That's pretty low for an N/A motor hence why when it's on boost, it performs great. I dont believe this video SRT4 is way faster. HE must be dead stock. My son had a SRT4 and was beating VETS. He ran close to a 12.60 1/4.
But It had stage 4 and had about 5 gs,in it. He was beating other SRT4 pretty bad. If you mod them up right there really fast. I had close to 300HP. I had a blue one.
My son sold it before Iraq, and he is looking to buy a TC with a TURBO. When he gets back. NOW his SRT4 he open up the pipes under the car,it took 4 bolts. MAN IT WAS LOUD.
@slinkoer yeah, well that so called camry engine is putting down 760WHP on Justin Chirico's tC and his engine is mostly stock. Only thing he upgraded is rods and pistons. Nothing else from a shortblock. Who's going for 800+ soon and theres no reason why he wont be able to achieve it.

I have a dodge neon srt-4 with L-4 turbo and MSD mass induction. Please... That scion is toast. Whoever has the gonads to speak down on a SRT neon obviously dont know how awsome and fun it is to drive one. Sounds, looks, handling, all is three thumbs up. Eats mustang, and can hang with porche. @silvercsrt Definitely worth it for me, in my case. It's done me good over the years. Last track day I was out lapping a new 2010-2011 BMW M3, a modded Evo X and a lot of other cars. When I go out and lay down some times, it reminds me what I mod this car for. My new turbo setup has created a different bread of speed :)

But you cant compare a roll race between a Srt4 thats correctly modded and a turbo scion -.- It would take a ton of work to get a scion to keep up with a 50trim srt4, which cost as much as your turbo kit on the scion. I have drove both, and the scion is comparable to a golf kart while the srt4 has a feel all its own, which is like shit after 100 mph.

@cmigneco A few Facts for you since it's apparent you have no idea what you are talking about. For starters, a tC at just 6lbs of boost is already faster than a Stock SRT4. At 6lbs it produces 230whp/230wtq. That is the least amount anyone ever runs. At 8-10lbs of boost on a tC you see 300whp/300wtq. Going on up to 12-14lbs on a stock motor tC puts you in the 350-400whp range.

As for keeping cost down....a Civic SI is in the sub 20k range, it still has a lower trim level which is the standard Civic.

Just becaause you think its a Z06 and the other car is a tC does not mean automatic win for the Vette. @cmigneco I've raced a Hanh 20G upgraded SRT4 against my 20G boosted tC and I pulled him on the top end. Sorry to burst your bubble, but a 50trim SRT4 is not going to be leaps and bounds faster than a tC on a 50trim also. An SRT on 20lbs of boost isn't a 400whp car, but a tC on 20lbs of boost IS a 400whp car. So, you can't compare boost between two different cars. SRT4's are not Unbeatable, I've beaten them from stock to Stage 2 w/mods.

If it was a pussy with a turbo, then that must mean the Evo, STI, 350z, S2k, 240sx with RB/SR20 swaps on them that I've beaten with my turbo tC just pushing 8lbs of boost, that they were the biggest cunts of them all. This tC also ran 12.1-12.3's in the 1/4 mile. I knew this tC personally, cause the guy driving it also built the first turbo setup I had on my tC. SRT4 runs in the 13s easily at over 104 mph with a decent driver and launch. How much does a scion cost WITHOUT a turbo? Around 9-11k depending on miles/year. I see bone stock SRT4's with low miles go for 8 all day and they have a turbo stock. In the video your referring to, the STI bogs the launch, which is pathetic/sad.

@rhythmnsmoke I have only run it in the 1/8th at a time of 7.5 @ 94mph. I did some math and it works out to 11's in the 1/4 mile. Ive got a new turbo and motor going in soon with meth injection so I should be having lots of fun at around 400whp.

@mccaf2250 You would match up pretty good with my tC then when I get my new turbo setup. Old turbo setup was good for 12's. New one should be good for 10-11's. But I only do drag strip when there isn't a Road Course HPDE day going on, as that's what I like to do the most.

@hollow121314 You know a 93 se-r doesn't come with a turbo right...oh wait but mine has a turbo. lol ya of course stock for stock srt's are faster because they make 100whp more than the scion stock. You also need to account for weight as my se-r weighing in at 1800lbs has beat many 380whp srt's when I was only making 230whp. Weight of the car makes a huge difference.

@rhythmnsmoke Actually, it wouldnt. A scion TC stock runs high 15's low 16's. 6psi on a moderate sized turbo will not jump them from 15 to mid to high 13's in the 1/4. Low boost doesnt meen just 6 psi. it could range from 10-20 psi, is low boost depending on the turbo. Anyways, point is a stock tc motor with a t3t4 on 6 psi will still run mid 14's

@Xtraordinary70 Actually it would. I own a tC dude. I've raced my tC going on 4yrs now. I've raced it stock. Stock tC's with a good driver do mid-low 15's not high. If you run 16's in a tC then you suck. 6psi on a tC is low boost, even 10psi is low boost sure, but I was going by the absolute lowest you usually find on a tC. If you run a t3/t4 @ 6psi then you are vastly below the efficiency of that turbine. The tC is good on stock internals till 14-16psi. That's 350-400whp.

@avengful When I raced the SRT4's though, my tC didn't weigh that, it weighed more since I had not took on the whole racing aspect of the game then. Now, It is my track car, and I race it on road course during HPDE and Time Attack days.

@avengful I say what I mean, and I mean what I say. I did not say "everyone". What I told you is "most likely" and if you don't think that's true then you must be living in another demision where SRT4's are driven like other cars are. 2005 SRT4 is 2,899lbs. 2006 Scion tC is 2,970lbs. A difference of 71lbs. When people talk/brag about a car being lighter than another car, they usually are referring to several hundred pound differences, not 71. My tC currently weighs 2,550lbs just fyi.

@avengful No where did I say women can't beat on cafs. I said you are more likely to find a tC in better condition based on the demographics that drive them. Dont sit there and pretend SRT4s are mostly driven like regular everyday cars. I would never buy a used turbo car unless I was looking to make it into a race only car. If you looked up stuff then you wouldn't assume the tC weighed more than the SRT4.

@avengful Simple, just look at the demographic that buys the vehicle. tC has a 50/50 sale ratio of buyers being both men and women. Women don't generally beat on the car. SRT on the other hand is largely driven by guys who want to race all the time. So chances of finding one that's stock or just used for daily driving is going to be a lot more difficult. Why are telling me its not all about big turbos? The tC weighs exactly the same as an SRT4 dude. The spec model tC weighs less.

@avengful A used tC will run you $6-8k, not $13. Most likely it will also be in better condition than a used and most likely Abused SRT4. You going to have to run a Stage 3 upgrade just to even keep up with my "so-called" heap. You can hate Scions just like I hate little rice boys on youtube talking about a car they have no clue about.

@artistickilla47 Well There great cars 12 pounds of boost from stock, and pushing out 232hp stock. As long as it hasn't been beat too much it will probably be a great car. 2.4s can take a serious beating too so. The thing will make its own racing stripes in your shorts if your not used to a fast car.

@1hitkillforu 12lbs of boost on a tC it will be pushing out 320-330whp/320-330+wtq. My boy just had his PTuning setup dynoed at 13lbs on a Mustang dyno. He put down 350whp/353wtq @ 13lbs of boost. tC stock internals are good for 350-400whp before needing internals.

There's no way a tc has anything on an srt4 unless you put some serious bank into it, like the one in this vid. With all the money you'd have to put into a tc to make it decently quick, you could be running 11s in an srt4. If you want a good bang-for-the buck car don't get the tc. That high compression engine wasn't built for boost so be prepared to do a hell of a lot of work.

@2ZZGECelica The SRT already cost more than a tC, so not sure what "Bang for the buck" equation you working with there. Secondly...don't take "serious bank" to beat an SRT4. $3k for a basic bottom of the line turbo setup on a tC would beat a stock SRT4. 6lbs of boost on a tC is 220-230whp/230wtq which is enough to beat the SRT4 with. Lastly....tC comes with a 9:6.1 compression ratio from the factory. That's not high compression dude. That's extremely low compression for a N/A motor imo.

@rhythmnsmoke No, thats not at all and I remember you, and listen to this YOUR tC WOULD BEAT MOST SRT-4'S OUT THERE!! Simply because its faster, all stage 1 stage 2 and stage 3 SRT-4's are really just a reflashed PCM with little bigger injectors wastegate blah blah blah, so other than s few small things they are almost stock and the Stage 3 pushes out430 BHP stock turbo a 50. trim puts down 3-468 depending on the tune. SRT's are probably the same as a used Scion now.

@PutzkiSniper I'm not talking about Stage 1,2,3 SRT-4s. I wouldn't sleep on an Stage 3 SRT cause I know those can be really quick. I've raced a Hahn's Racecraft 20G upgraded SRT4. He was running 14lbs of boost on the setup and I was running 11lbs of boost on my 20G setup on my tC. I pulled him on the top end. I have never made more than probably 330whp on my tC. Hard to tell since I never really had it dynoed except for when it was on just 7lbs of boost.

And if your making 330 WHP your probably like right on with my SRT-4 stage 2 bolt ons and when its pushing everything it does about 20 PSI if it was the stock 15 PSI I imagne it would be around 280-300 but then again I never got it dyno'd so I have no clue.

@PutzkiSniper That was my old setup. I won't be running 330whp anymore. That was on my 20G. New setup is going to be a GT3076R dual BB. And 95% of the turbo tC's on here are just normal daily driven tC's. A Stage 3 SRT4 although can be daily driven, I wouldn't consider it to run with a normal run of the mill turbo tC. Stg 3 guys would be considered pushing the limit. So, would need to be compared to a tC that's pushing the limit.

@rhythmnsmoke A friends friends has a EST. 700 HP SRT-4 thats daily driven so i was like wtf is done to it he wont tell me, I have seen the guys SRT, its blacked out with pillar gauges so im sure its tuned, if i was trying to make 700 BHP on an SRT-4 I would go with a DCR motor probably 50 trim and stage 2 ECU full bolt ons and crower cams im sure would take me there. Anyways that SRT-4 is daily driven. And I have thought about going stage 3 but I dont really need it..

@PutzkiSniper I'm faster than a Stg 2 with bolt-ons. I've raced a Stg 2 with bolt ons when I was just on 8lbs of boost (making probably 260whp) and I barely lost to him. I would pull on a Stg 2 w/bolt ons. My tC isn't meant for street roll races anymore though. I Road Race and Time Attack it. That's why it weighs 2550lbs now.

A) Our gears do not come up that quick B) Modz List is a poor description of saying 19 psi , 3" dump, and (goodies: intake-which does nothing for SRT-4's). Don't say Goodies because DiabloSport tune would Have killed that TC effortless. Answer...FAKE!

@karnag30kc That's low 12's on a stock motor that is. Built motor....shit there are 9, 10, 11sec tC's, no big deal. There are street driven tC's with 650+whp/600wtq. Fastest FWD Time attack car in the states and possibly the world....guess what....is a Scion tC. Nothing to hype about when it's the damn truth. There is room in the tuner scene for plenty of cars, and the tC has some pretty good bragging rights under it's belt, not my fault you don't follow current motorsports to know it

@karnag30kc First off pay attention. Low 12's (12.1-12.2) on a stock motor, not a fully built one. Secondly an SRT4 is nothing special either, and did you forget....it's a neon with a turbo. No one claimed a tC was a sports car with money it. It performs great, otherwise it wouldn't be a 3 time Unlimited FWD class Time Attack title holder, record holder for about 10 tracks across the country, 2 time Modified FWD class Time Attack champs, and various other motorsports titles/championships.

@karnag30kc Really, you don't say. I was quoting dynojet numbers. Also, the VQ35DE 350z is not 300hp, it's 280hp at the crank. At the wheels like I said, it's 230-240whp and heavier than an SRT4. The HR 350z are 300hp and 306hp depending on the year.

I dont believe this video SRT4 is way faster. HE must be dead stock. My son had a SRT4 and was beating VETS. He ran close to a 12.60 1/4.
But It had stage 4 and had about 5 gs,in it. He was beating other SRT4 pretty bad. If you mod them up right there really fast. I had close to 300HP. I had a blue one.
My son sold it before Iraq, and he is looking to buy a TC with a TURBO. When he gets back. NOW his SRT4 he open up the pipes under the car,it took 4 bolts. MAN IT WAS LOUD.

@slinkoer yeah, well that so called camry engine is putting down 760WHP on Justin Chirico's tC and his engine is mostly stock. Only thing he upgraded is rods and pistons. Nothing else from a shortblock. Who's going for 800+ soon and theres no reason why he wont be able to achieve it.
