i remember seeing some paintings based on the original theme for the mask on the side of a fairground ride in france and when i actually found out about the mask story i subconsciously thought it would be a better story if he was a psycho

Woah. After seeing this, I have to say I'm quite glad they decided to tone it down for the movie adaptation and just focus on the comedy. I think the original premise is great, but I doubt I would have preferred seeing this version over Jim Carrey's one, which I loved as a kid, and still do.

The Mask is such a great comic book. Arcudi's scripts were the best. I love the movie also, but I believe that because of it the comic book version isn't recognizable and is now forgotten.

Is Dark Horse ever going to revive this character???

I actually already own the colored graphic novel version. But it's easier to scan the black & white originals.

Oh, and we know the voice for Cathy doesn't sound like a real woman... but that's really the best we can do, being that it's only really two guys voicing this thing.

i rread it. Basically The Joker steals the mask from the gotham museum. kellawat comes to gothas to stop "Big Head" who is really the joker. it end kellaway buries the mask with Stanley's body
