Very well done. Could you do it with the lines 9-12 of the original hymn?
He died that we might be forgiven,
He died to make us good,
That we might go at last to heaven,
Savd by his precious blood.
These four lines are so important because the hymn is not just about Christ, it is also about sanctification.
