Actually, both rap songs are atrocious. If you knew anything about music, you would know that rap is a talentless genre and is for simple-minded people. Sure, it takes a strong sense of rhythm to make a rap song, but the same applies for blues, jazz, classic rock, technical death metal, and a variety of other genres. Explain to me why rap is so special. Niggers talking to a beat does not equal music.

And as far as drumming talent goes, the drummer for this band is far superior in terms of technical ability, along with most death metal drummers. Plus, by what legitimate standards is this not music? Music consists of harmony, rhythm, and melody - all of which this has. It's just expressed differently.

Why yes, actually it is. It may not be the focal point of any melody, but still key to the structure of the song. I could go to lengths to say that your musician isn't one, he's just banging on pieces of metal and drum heads. Fuck, the guitarist in this video isn't a musician then, because he's just plucking some nickel strings and pressing them down to some arrangement, right? But I won't, because that logic doesn't make any sense at all.
