Hogan could sell out huge 70,000 seat stadiums like they were municipal townhall buildings!! NO pro wrestler will ever capture the imagination of the world like HOGAN did again!!
well i'm ahogan fan but i got no problem with hogan-haters. everybody has an own opinion BUT hogan was a true wrestler! you got to see his matches in japan. his style there is very diffrent! but in the usa, in the wwf, this superman-powerhouse-wrestling-style fits simply more with his gimmick.
I honestly thought this was Hulk Hogan's greatest match. Hulk Hogan vs Paul Orndorff was named by PWI and WON as the Feud of the Year in 1986. Hulk Hogan vs Paul Orndorff on Saturday's Night Main Event was Hogan's greatest match in 1986. The cage match was good too.
@watanabehefuml Na, he was funny. Hogan was over exposed and dummied down wrestling with that hulkamania shit that was for four to six year olds just discovering underoos.
yes at the CNE, for me this was toronto's first wrestlemania, at the time there was no other pay per view only saturday night's main event was around in 1986
@JsunPWMemories everyone was a bit chunkier at this point. The WWF was making money hand over fist, and no one was really dieting just using the juice to stay n shape. So Hulkster was on top, he ate a champions diet (steak and popatoes)
I kind of like the Big Event version better because it shows Paul Orndorff walking in with Real American and Fink going "the challenger . . . Mr. Wonderful . . . Paul Orndorff."

TRIVIA: Guess what? when Hulk Hogan threw his headband(obviously not shown here), it was the Rock(when he was kid) was the one who caught it.

Half of the crowd seems to dislike the Hulkster here, certainly not a "Hogan" city....

Why does Bobby Heenan have trunks on? He almost always wore pants.

Actually he wore his singlet, and had his trademark jacket on.

No one in history, not Bundy, not Andre, not Zeus, not Sid, and nor the Giant could handle Hogan the way that Orndorff did.
