If you have any anxiety or depression or home all day,I wouldn't take it to long.22Days for me and I'm finding I'm slowly comming back to being me.It's hard if you already have anxiety and then not being able to work either,I found it very hard mentally! Didn't want to talk to anyone on phone, that is still hard, found bringing a cleaning cloth while on phone helped. They did say hardest drug to get off! Champix worked!
I'm from Canada too! The drug Champix and whatever else is now covered for people on disability so I was able to get them.I quit on 11thday with no urges to smoke, but I found I was very anxious, angry, moody, and the phone was the hardest to do mentally,so I quit the pill 11days after quitting smoking.I still have no urges and doing better now,do have to watch not to replace with food! lol
Awsome news mate!! I'm at the end of my 8 weeks without a single slip-up.However, I've had 8 weeks of constant headache and a maximum of 5 hrs sleep on any given night and feel like a weak-ass zombie. with that being said,I'm about to endevour into the last 4 weeks of punishment. However rough it is I will remember how tough this is for a damn long time...I will use these memories for future discipline. never again will i go back to them dirty cigarettes....thank you brother, I can relate to you
bless you buddy.... Thanks for your inspirational story. What do you have hanging on the wall behind you. Is it a Paul or Epiphone ? The other Axe looks to be a Jackson or ESP. Once again, congratulations on your conquest . This is a major victory over a unworthy adversary. How has it been in the recent years ?
@arclight777 Thanks for the comments. It's been 2 1/2 years and everything is great without the cigs. I only get a mild craving every once in a while. As for the guitars, the red one is a Les Paul Samick that I have since sold and the blue is an ESP. I've since aquired a PRS Custom 24 partially with the money I've saved from not smoking - it's sweet!
I am from Canada, As weird as this sounds Chantix is called Champix here... I think it's the same drug. Anyway I am on day 16 now I quit smoking on day 10.. no cravings what so ever... side effects GAs, Nightmares, pain in right arm... so far lol ... The starter kit here cost me $61.25... thats a 2 week kit, I decided to get the pills every 2 weeks and my cost is $66.00 every 2 weeks now. I don't have a medical plan or anything so... Just seems cheaper here for some reason.. Thanks for the vid
Just wanted to thank you for posting your videos. I am currnetly on my 4th day without cigarettes using the chantix medication. This like you said has been the easiest quiet I have ever tried. The only real side effect I have had has been some real crazy dreams. Congratulations on being quit for this long and keep up the good work. From one smoker to another, I know how hard it is to quit. Thanks again.
Awsome job Steve!! I am now on my 40th day of no smoking. I have also cut back my pills from 2 a day to 1 a day. 1/2 in the morning and the other 1/2 at night. I was finding the full pill made my stomach upset, even though I would eat before taking. So far, so good. I think once I am done this package of pills, I won't take anymore. This is a miracle pill for anyone who wants to kick the habit. Looking forward to your updates. Thanks
