He wrote a remarkable book entitled 'Puzzling People' which is his story about coming to terms with toxic indivduals and social pathology situation using consciouness and creativity to heal from the experience. I would love to see you and him have a conversation. He tackles "evil" with a toolkit based on the understanding of recognizing evil as being an evolutionary driver. Powerful stuff.
I've come to the realization that the law of attraction is so powerful that I am actually literally afraid to receive what I really want in life. That's why it takes time to see the biggest changes... Because I know I can get what I want and it's kinda scary to know that it WILL happen if I put intention on it. Kinda shoot myself in the foot. Do you guys sometimes feel this way? (or am I crazy lol)
My struggles with the Law of Attraction reveals that for the universe to bring about one's intended outcome, the individual needs to be already living in alignment/harmony with the universe. I believe you mentioned similarly in the Law of Intention in 7 Spiritual Laws of Success, stating that provided he/she does not violate the other spiritual laws.. This important bit of detail seemingly is overlooked by many of us who tend to see the Law of Intention as independent from the other laws.
I agree with you on this Deepak. But I think what you're saying here is a pretty mainstream point of view. Your intentions affect your present and future. In other words, it's about your attitude. I think this is different from "The Secret" stuff, which seems to be suggesting that the other people and world events will bend to your thoughts.
@LambadLambadLambda i think the thing about the secret is and was that things manifest in a way we cant even imagine. The universe's intelligence is so high that nothing will bend just in your favor, it will always consider other people's "creations" too and yet not influence your own through other people's thoughts if that makes sense. To sum it up, it all works out perfectly.
I am learning and practicing focusing on what IAM and in that is all that I desire and much more than I can imagine. I think sometimes we may get caught up in the mechanics in trying to understand how to manifeste our desires, focusing on the lack to be fulfilled, rather than having a "Have" consciousness in realizing that you can conceive of it, you already have it! not in the sense of fulfilling a lack, but in the Power We already ARE! IAM - All that I have is Thine (it is written)
While listening to this video, I could not help but think about what Deepak says about intention in ther realm of "all probabilities" pure consciousness, affects everything in our "Now". It affects, behavior, circumstances, etc. I thought of the same concept that has been put differently for years, "act as though you've already received". "Faith without works is dead". If we've put the intention out there, but it doesn't affect our here and now in some way, then we'd better double check it.
What you explained is reasonable for situations which are dependents on people's direct action. But what about, say for instance, winning a mega lottery or anything of that nature which is beyond ones reach and control to manifest. How can universe orchestrate for that to manifest.I have always wondered about this.I would like to have your opinion on that Dr. Chopra.
@qcon81 Within an infinute universal divine being that is the alpha and the omega of creation, any intended outcome HAS ALREADY BEEN ACCOMPLISHED and the manifestation of that outcome lies in our ablity to line up with it through the proper use of intention and detachment balanced with inspired action. Think of it like a railway track, when you manifest properly you switch the tracks so to speak, and therefore have changed the direction you were headed. This is just my opinion.
@qcon81 This also reflects my personal idea that enlightenment is realizing you've never not been enlightened. The atonement has already been accomplished we simply got too caught up in the world play,forgot our true identity, and mistook the characters we are playing with who we really are. Its like a big punchline to a hilarious joke. Like when you're going around everywhere to find your lost glasses only to realize they've been on your head the whole time. You never actually lost them

And you are an inspiration to many, like many of our generation are an inspiration to one another. Seize the Moment and act on it! Our generation certainly did and we certainly influenced our offspring!!

There also has to be other criteria for change to happen: Intention, focus, desire.
And I believe, that if something was "meant to be" in your life then it will happen.
I read your book on synchronicity, intention but a long time ago.
