Aah, good times. I loved this holiday. We were pitched in a seafront villa, with a 1 min walk from the promenade. Ive been 9 times in total. Lush place, last time i went, we experienced hurricanes. and had to land in gran canaria. this kinda put me off. but in general, its a loverly place, where i have enjoyed family holidays since was 3 ;D Nice vid.
We have been going there for the last ten years, 2 or 3 times a year & love it! This is an old video, the promenade at Playa Bastian has been neatly paved with patterned brickwork for at least six years, unfortunately the government have not continued the work on the prom around the entire resort, which would make it easier for people with pushchairs or wheelchairs (& ladies wearing heels!)
its very quiet..and dated but there are BIG plans for Costa Teguise, been twice this year. been 9 times in the last 6 years. to me home from home. but i dont expect much
Interesting place, Lanzarote. You really do get the sense that you are somewhere quite different and 'exotic'. Can't put my finger on it. Horribly touristy in parts, but the place does have it's charms. The organised tour we went on to the volcanic plains was quite bizarre and well worth doing (especially as you feel certain the coach is going to come hurtling off the unbelievably narrow road at any moment). Not sure if I'd want to return to Lanzarote, but I'm glad I went at least once.

Lanzarote is a great place to drive around. Many James Bond type settings...if you have been, you will know the places I mean.
