Always fun for a late night drive on Ventura Blvd. Daytime is for those that wish to be stuck in mindless traffic.
At night, there is lots to do and see. The adventure begins after dark...
(Though, nowadays, there are more "For Lease" signs than ever on bankrupt businesses due to the "jobless recovery" that accompanied the greedy Banker Bastards that got bailed out while the working man got nothing but grief.)
@AnotherWayFilms Very interesting that you point that out. I'm in Atlanta, Georgia, but just in the past couple of months I've noticed the same thing. Office buildings that have been full my whole life say "For Lease" and "Space Available." There's hardly a commercial development of any kind that doesn't have one. Forget people finding jobs, the buildings can't even find tenants! What's happened to this country?
Funny how there's no meantingful mention on TV of what's so obvious to everybody going down the street.
Our economy is taking a dive.
I watched all the Mom & Pop bookstores in L.A. get shut out by the giant Barnes & Noble and Borders Books superstores.. Now Borders' stores have giant signs up saying "Going Out Of Business".
Thank's for posting this. i used to live off Tujunga (Moorpark &Lemp) so I'd drive Ventura blvd at least that far. I liked shopping at Laurel and Ventura and then usually hung out at the Borders past VN blvd and Ventura. So, my dad would have been happy that I understood the east valley so well and made it my home for awhile.
awesome.!

Sad but true. We're collapsing.
