Wow, this looks awesome. I was actually attempting to create a Hajime no Ippo game with 2-D sprites. I have different bars.

One is a "Damage" bar (life)

One is a "Guard" bar (determines when you guard break)

One is a "Guts" bar (determines when you KO)

One is a "Spirit" bar (signature moves, other offensive/defensive moves).

Whoever is working on this, keep it up. I too would pay good money for this.
