After some practice using a controller isn't hard at all. Beating this song on expert with one is pointless to anyone with a guitar though. To do it comfortably you'd have to be inhumanly fast at tapping left trigger for the bombardment of green notes (etc) during the verses. On expert I can get 93% using the guitar, thats impressive yeah? :D

Certain songs ARE easier on controller not all. If you have a song with alot of really fast chords and you miss then it counts as 3 misses and the rock meter goes down faster.

Well. The people who get it often might use just one hand actually, but you're right. I could only hit it on slower when I focused on what notes to press rather than looking at the screen and trying to follow! Practice makes perfect, until your fingers start falling off - LOL!

I bought GH3/2 for Xbox 360 and downloaded the PC one.

Frets on fire was great but its not so good anymore because you can put any custom songs you want into GH3PC!

ghIII pc runs at contant 60fps with everything up for me and NEVER jumps, except when it goes into light areas it goes down to 40-50. and i have a really cheap rig.

yeah but I was playing GH3PC before it was released here in UK so the XB360 gamepad was all I had. I've uploaded some other GH videos now where I'm using guitar :)

Cool, I just recently able to do that myself with a 360 controller; Also, if your computer is fast enough you should try the part, that I think is called, "They're Hammer-ons" part on expert. It is really easy just hit Red than hold down Green the hold time and hit the rest. My computer can't keep with the buttons being pressed so I couldn't do it, but good luck!

nice. Before I learned to tap the intro with the Guitar control I actually used a gamepad to pass it! I have captured an expert vid of the intro (and the rest of the song) but never bothered uploading - my score was ~380K and I'm waiting until I 5 star it =D

no song is harder to FC on hard than on expert, thats not what he meant. But the track itself determines how difficult it'll be more than anything else so Slow ride on expert is easier than Through the fire and flames on medium (well, even easy)

I use FRAPS. But I need to compromise with "half-size"/50fps settings. Try recording at a lower FPS? Anything under 60fps makes it more difficult to play but its the best solution we can use

In GH, there is now a feature to decide what parts you want to play, he just chose to play that one small part of Dragonforce's Through Fire and Flames, not magic at all.
