Without ruffling anyone's feathers but when did the Americans fought the French in this country? Wasn't the French+Indian War because the 13 Colonies was under English rule then. The French and the American Colonists were allies in 1776. France selling the States the Louisiana Territory for practicaly pennies on the dollar, four of those states made up 1/3 of Dixie. Can't forget the fact that Jean Lafitte, a French privateer helped Old Hickory bigtime in 1812.
Quite true , you are a student of history ... The Cherokee called " 'ol hickory " chicken snake , over the trail of tears .... another minority screwed by the federal govt. Anyone south of Chicago should expect the same from the big eared Socialist now in power ...
I both hate having too strong central gov't and a socialist agenda. But southern independence cannot work and a new civil war cannot be won. that's faulty logic man this isn't the 19th century. Secession would no more lead to ruin than scotland leaving england again would. Secession isn't the problem. Acceptance (which for some odd reason many americans still have trouble with) is the problem. But it would do little good now. The world is different and outright violence would be heavily frowned upon and pretty much bankrupt the remaining

sure we could. We don't live in the 19th century anymore. If the fed wanted a war. The cost would be astronomical, and quite frankly there really would be no reason for one at this point. We don't like supervison anymore than they do. They really need to stop trying to stick their
I read someplace that Michael Hill, the president of the League of the South was quite the segregationist racist. I didn't believe that at first because i thought it was liberal propaganda. But a lot of his statements are hazy on it.
Then stand opposed to slavery, just as my Confederate Ancestors were totally opposed to slavery. There was not a single slave in the county they lived in, or in any of the surrounding counties.
Not everyone in Dixie desired a slave.
Even the Yankees who deride us admit that at least 96% of the Citizens of Dixie did not own slaves.
exactly, and the north was insanely involved in southern slavery. It's not like uncle toms cabin. That is made up yankee propaganda. Southerners were taking their stand against an oppresive north in the war and if you ask me I think slavery would have been abolished before 1865 if the north hadn't invaded. States can't outlaw it if there occupied in a war. Abolishing It would have been mandatory as the south would have relied heavily on trade as a free nation.
I am a Jew from the North but I have been a solid defender of Dixie ever since I was 17 in high school. I had a history teacher who was black and hated the South. he made me LOVE the South, and I joined the Southern National Party when I was 19.
Deo Vindice! Abe Lincoln and WT Sherman, burn in hell 4 ever!
I hope Abe and Sherman burn in hell not for billions of years but for EVER and EVER. Lincoln and Sherman were warcriminals and not only committed atrocities against my state and people but tainted the Army's record with their crimes.
They deserve nothing less than an ETERNITY of fire and Brimestone.
The election of Lincoln meant the end of the COnstitution. Had George Washington been there he would have been a Confederate General. Not a Union man. God BLess Dixie/True America
No true southron takes kindly to being told what to do by anyone never has never will.We southrons are not like the sheep from the north. Its is time for the rebirth of our southron homeland.God bless our south-DEO VINDICE
Stop voting for carpetbaggers, from the North. The governor of Tennessee is from the North. Do you see a pattern? Clinton, moves to NY, these people have no ties, except their agenda, statism.
May it come again my friend... I hope it does. Me and many other's are willing, all we need to do is just convince other's to.. re-build the confederate army and break away, just as our ancestors
The US was never intended to be a "nation." The CS was never intended to be a "nation" either. My love for the Confederacy and the South is as great as anyone's, but I do not forget the purpose of the "cause." The purpose was to reassert the soverignty of the states, not to form a new nation.
I agree with you at that time. However, I contend that we are not politically a single nation - but culturally we are. I'm a South Carolinian first and last. However, there's a bond with my fellow Southerners that can't be ignored - despite the sovereign status of our States. That's how I feel anyhow. Thanks for your comments. Deo Vindice
In the true wouthern tradition, we need to not build a Southern Nation, but instead a Southern Confederacy-a federation, con-federation (with federation)-a republic of independent states. We must first be Tennesseans, Alabamians, etc. citizens of the sovereign states. Our states may then wish to belong to a union. Do not get too caught up in the nostalgia of the old South. Remember the very thing we fought for was for the independence and soverignty of the States.
The biggest problem with this being called a Union is the fact that in a"Union"all it's members must be willing members, and that is not the case here. It's not just our beloved southern states that are occupied. The state of Hawaii was annexed. Now over half the states have independence movements. DEO VINDICE!
Thank you for your comment. Many Northerners feel like you. They are aften called "Copperheads." My WBTS teacher was a yankee and she didn't appreciate my views on the war either. I spoke up loudly and often for Dixie!
I have the same problem in my history class. My history teacher thinks she knows more about the war for southern independence then I do but she could not even name five battles that happened during the conflict, then she tells me the war was about slavery. My family did not own slaves, why did they fight for the South then?
My family didn't have any slaves either. But about 10 members of my family served in the Confederate forces. They fought because their land was invaded - pretty simple.
I had 13 family members serve in the confederate forces 6 served in the 3rd Arkansas 2 in the 17th Georgia and 5 in the 1st South Carolina Volunteers. Non owned slaves and were all good Christan men I actually have photos of 7 of them. But yes all they wanted was a country of their own plain and simple.
That's great that you have that connection to your ancestors - I don't have any photos of mine - just old stories and records in books and such. One lost his leg and hobbled on a cane the rest of his life.
That's a shame he had to suffer like that, but I asher you that the sacrifices of your ancestors and min will not be forgotten. There is so much that we could learn from our ancestors. If I did not know who my ancestors were I wold have know idea that I was of Southern descent. God bless and keep up the great work you are doing.
My history teacher at my old school was really an uncouth and uncivilized person who INSISTED that the south was "wrong", and that if the south had won, there would be more prejudice and stereotypes. That is WRONG! You all know what you fought for, and I tell you, you were every bit as rightful of your homeland as the colonists were when they fought the british for the SAME reason that you fought the war for southern independence!!
BRAVO! Another great one "RedShirtArmy"... We HAVE been occupied far too long, it's coming time to eject the yankee invader and take up our rightful place as a free, sovereign & independent nation of confederated states! God Bless the Southland our Beloved Dixie! Long live the Confederate States of America! {Deo Vindice}
Well the Palmetto Patriot has gone and done it again. Another wonderful, well thought and executed video. We should all make an effort to take an active part in this movement. Not one person is to old or to young. Don't just say your going to help, HELP!
This video was wounderful great truth you speak and im always happy to see that you have put out a new video. We must never surrender in Dixie i want Southron Indepedence a FreeSC and Dr,Hill has a great vision for our waking up Dixie.Great job on this video you make us all proud to be Southernners.
RedShirtArmy my friend your great work tireless videos has touched my heart and refueled my soul and you and your hard work to bring light to our cause you make me proud to be from South Carolina proud to be a Southron living in our great country Dixie and we shall be Free "Deo Vindice" and the Scalawags these people are a dangerous lot of Herodians.Keep the great work coming thanks again.
Those who see this and are moved by it can do something about this. You can Vote for Ron Paul who wants to bring us back to the Constitution which gave states the Rights to do as they Pleased.
I voted for Ron Paul in the primary, but the sheeple were afraid to take that "different" trail. Misguided people foolishly believe that the federal government has their best interests in mind.
As much as I want states rights, I voted for McCain because I think a strong fed is needed right now, even though it doesn't have our best interest in mind.
It´s important that they are able to tax us more, send more of our kids to die in foreign wars, stand by as tens of million more illegals flood us and all the rest. The Feds essentially do nothing good for us. They are the force that is occupying us. Making them stronger hurts us. Never forget that those people invaded us, killed hundreds of thousands of us, and continue to this day to exploit and abuse us. They need to be run out of Dixie for good.
a strong fed is what's killing the country. If income tax was abolished and the fed stopped spending the road to recovery would be much quicker. Since the fed gets it's money from us the states the more money the states have the more money we can spend the more money goes into the economy the quicker it recovers.

Chana1313 3 years ago 2
I hope Abe and Sherman burn in hell not for billions of years but for EVER and EVER. Lincoln and Sherman were warcriminals and not only committed atrocities against my state and people but tainted the Army's record with their crimes.
They deserve nothing less than an ETERNITY of fire and Brimestone.

I hope Abraham Lincoln burns in hell for all eternity. I pray for the day that states in Dixie secede AGAIN.

The election of Lincoln meant the end of the COnstitution. Had George Washington been there he would have been a Confederate General. Not a Union man. God BLess Dixie/True America

My love for the Confederacy and the South is as great as anyone's, but I do not forget the purpose of the "cause." The purpose was to reassert the soverignty of the states, not to form a new nation.
gwhayden3 3 years ago

I live in the North, but my heart is in the South. My Civil War teacher doesn't appreciate this fact.
kdlee1776 4 years ago
Thank you for your comment. Many Northerners feel like you. They are aften called "Copperheads." My WBTS teacher was a yankee and she didn't appreciate my views on the war either. I spoke up loudly and often for Dixie!

I have the same problem in my history class. My history teacher thinks she knows more about the war for southern independence then I do but she could not even name five battles that happened during the conflict, then she tells me the war was about slavery. My family did not own slaves, why did they fight for the South then?
VolumeCenter 4 years ago
My family didn't have any slaves either. But about 10 members of my family served in the Confederate forces. They fought because their land was invaded - pretty simple.
RedShirtArmy 4 years ago
I had 13 family members serve in the confederate forces 6 served in the 3rd Arkansas 2 in the 17th Georgia and 5 in the 1st South Carolina Volunteers. Non owned slaves and were all good Christan men I actually have photos of 7 of them. But yes all they wanted was a country of their own plain and simple.
VolumeCenter 4 years ago
That's great that you have that connection to your ancestors - I don't have any photos of mine - just old stories and records in books and such. One lost his leg and hobbled on a cane the rest of his life.
RedShirtArmy 4 years ago
That's a shame he had to suffer like that, but I asher you that the sacrifices of your ancestors and min will not be forgotten. There is so much that we could learn from our ancestors. If I did not know who my ancestors were I wold have know idea that I was of Southern descent. God bless and keep up the great work you are doing.
VolumeCenter 4 years ago
My history teacher at my old school was really an uncouth and uncivilized person who INSISTED that the south was "wrong", and that if the south had won, there would be more prejudice and stereotypes. That is WRONG! You all know what you fought for, and I tell you, you were every bit as rightful of your homeland as the colonists were when they fought the british for the SAME reason that you fought the war for southern independence!!

Great Video!
Those who see this and are moved by it can do something about this. You can Vote for Ron Paul who wants to bring us back to the Constitution which gave states the Rights to do as they Pleased.
MyerstownFarm 4 years ago 3
I voted for Ron Paul in the primary, but the sheeple were afraid to take that "different" trail. Misguided people foolishly believe that the federal government has their best interests in mind.
AAThunderLady 3 years ago 8
As much as I want states rights, I voted for McCain because I think a strong fed is needed right now, even though it doesn't have our best interest in mind.
Pooternackle 3 years ago
It´s important that they are able to tax us more, send more of our kids to die in foreign wars, stand by as tens of million more illegals flood us and all the rest. The Feds essentially do nothing good for us. They are the force that is occupying us. Making them stronger hurts us. Never forget that those people invaded us, killed hundreds of thousands of us, and continue to this day to exploit and abuse us. They need to be run out of Dixie for good.
RedShirtArmy 3 years ago
a strong fed is what's killing the country. If income tax was abolished and the fed stopped spending the road to recovery would be much quicker. Since the fed gets it's money from us the states the more money the states have the more money we can spend the more money goes into the economy the quicker it recovers.
