Yeah, it was really sad. He was my best friend and I miss him. But I have a mustang0paint now named disco; he a really great horse and I love him, but he doesnt replace Jazz (my horse that died)
i think you will always miss him and he will always have that special space in your heart. nothing will replace him but disco and you can start a new story. also can i just say that disco is such a cool name for a horse!
ooh ok! I really think he looks like a standardbred. hes super pretty, i used to have a standardbred who looked just like him, but he got colic last year and died :(
aww im sorry about your horse i nearly lost mine to colic about 4 years ago so i feel for you and can only imagine what it must be like loosing your horse like that. xxx
great jumping, i envy u ppl alot, your own field and jumps so u can push ur horse and urself as much as you lyk.. lucky ppl. can't do that with ma horse . good luck with flash, how big is he btw?
thanks...its only really been the last year since we have had any decent jump!! we were using milk crates and plasic drain pipes before! lol i know we r lucky to have the facilities we do though! thanks... flash is 15hh (just) 14.3 on his pasport but he is really in between! xx

3ft as a course(thats what we compete at) and about 3ft6 single XC fence(he would rather jump that to a 2ft one...which he backed off (on the same day).
Haha bless him. Plus it proves that cobs aren't always slow and easy to beat - Lacey covers ground quickly and pretty good turns, and Flash has seriously amazing turns and it just shows you don't need to flat out gallop to win!
no not always anyway! without the turns we would only be placed well if others made mistakes. he is however soooo very careful i can really push my luck with the turns and he always jumps double clear unless i make a mistake or put him to it wrong...in which case he stops rather than hitting a pole!!! bless! r u going to the champs of GB... if u are what classes u doing???
He really trusts u. U can really see from watching u jump. I'm not going to those champs-I go to the April version-we're going to the trailblazer finals next weekend, that plus PC camp made me decide I wanted to do some local shows this year too lol.Not sure if I'm going to the winter league ones next April though as I want to take her to POYS(tho i think shes over 14.2hh will get her measured) and thats in April. What classes are u doing?
we normally jump 2ft9-3ft but i dont know how he will cope with travelling 3hrs to get there...staying in a strange place and jumping 3 days on the trot! he has only ever really jumped on a surface about 10time in 8yrs aswell so it would be an interesting weekend!! lol Good luck at trailblazers.. i didnt get pass the 2nd rounds(i onlty tried once though!and we had a rare fence down!--then again i wouldnt have done it all anyway!)
Yeah it's a tiring weekend for them espeicially if you do all the classes. Then you'll know for next time. It's a fab atmosphere though. And thanks :D Don't think I'll get anywhere though as there's over 150 in my class, and goodluck to you too
thanks... im going to the champs with the attitude of "if flash jumps well and we have fun" then its been a great success even if we r way down the line or even last! all i can ask is that flash tries and if its all too much then i know i can't do it to him! i have had him on a fittening programme and it seems to be doing the trick so we will see!
Haha you won't come last. Lacey managed to come 3rd and 4th in 2 classes in April and that was without me pushing her as she's only a baby and it was her first time staying away from home and first time at a championship and saying she was excited was an understatement. xD
lol i love it when flash is excited he tucks himself up and just explodes into a series of little broncs!! or he jumps forwards in canter and tosses his head about... bless! well done on 3rd and 4th! very good!

i use windows movie maker aswel but u have to save it as a certain file type: video for broadband (510kb) or something.
when u have clicked save movie file its on the last screen! hope that helps! xx
