@DaForester Thanks! I get a lot of info and ideas from other people's videos - I'm pleased you've got something from one of mine. Buggying into the sunset on a nice beach somewhere is my very favorite thing!
cool vid i 2nd the use of the turbo bar i have flow 5m on turbo bar just awesome love the bar , dont buy the standard bar . So much easier than handles
@LiLDjToAsTiE It was pretty windy - maybe 20mph/30kph. One of the Geelong Kite Club members uses a 3m flow on a landboard very successfully (mind you, he's very small!) There's also some good footage (particularly at the end) of the Flow in action on my vimeo site. Search for 'too much fun on 13th beach'
The more I use the Flow, the more I'm getting to like it. Yes, it's a little 'flakey' and tends to luff a bit, but it's very quick when the wind is up and never feels too threatening. The Hornet is slower and more stable with a bit more grunt but the Flow is a lot of fun when the wind is on.
I think you have a greater range of control with handles, but the turbo bar makes the kite turn a lot faster ('cos you're simply using more brake to turn the kite) and for me, I find the bar more comfortable to use.
This is one of my favourite buggying videos on YouTube and has inspired me to keep going with my practice. Thank you for posting it.
