  • Best song of the guy

  • LOVE this song!! Sounds great with awesome lyrics. :)

  • That was the most annoying song ever!

  • It is on Mars. Fresh frozen water ice. Gives Richard Hogland's theory of Intelligent life A real boost....

  • WOW So there is water on the moon as well as in the Moon rocks huh? I wonder why Nasa told us they found no water in the rocks in the 60s. I wonder why they said there was no water on the moon, which is why the rocks were devoid of water....but now that has changed. Interesting. Nasa is lying or they did not know how to find water in Rocks 40 years ago.

  • We found water AND we wrote a nice song about it!

    BEAT THAT CHINA LOL XD

  • imagine they didn't find anything on the moon

then we would have never know that they were shooting missiles up in space

    lmao

    ;D

  • I mean thats so cynical, and i know humans are cynical im just amazed that im the only one that isnt for a change, and i have no sign of human instincts that makes me behave like all those people.

Apart from the psychological approach on how such machines got invented and tested it is already a fact that the moon contains water and mars aswell. Thats no news. Only question is is there enough water. Well, its simply part of the solar system so if the earth has lots of water then so does th moon

  • in the first place. Earth was only a small asteroid 6billion years ago. Its because they smashed and fell onto each other that made the planet. And if it -0 or +100 for a long period you dont say o help theres no water. if i boil some water for my tea and i forgot i put the boiler on and i recheck 2 hours later im not going to say, help theres no water, give me some evidence before i boil another cup.

I mean really, that economy is based on evidence is okay. But dont take evidence as a law.

  • the other stars. The water came from somewhere. And (wether its water or iron) matter gets caught by gravity (that of a solar system) 99% (including the sun) of the matter in the solar system has always been part of the solar system. So 99% of the matter and dirt that you walk on today existed also billions of years ago. So the water has always been here. They say comets and asteroids supplied the earth with water. THats correct, but these were the same asteroids tht made the earth.

  • 70% of earth surface is water. And that water is made under chemical, (heat and pressurized) circumstances (heavy elements mostly are made in stars or gas giants where pressure is high. And out of the whole accretion disk of the solar system earth was the only body in the solar system that luckily got caught by the water vapor that made our oceans. I mean really, just out of principle and a clear mind, how can earth it the name of physics be the only lucky guy out there. Not to speak about

  • @Armigo91 What I find amazing is the fact it would take around 400million years just to travel across our Galaxy. Yet they know of about 200million Galaxies. Their is life out there somewhere and we haven't even scratched the surface of exploration.

  • with the new lunar generation, humans will infect much new worlds.

  • India's maiden Moon mission Chandrayaan-1 had found water on the lunar surface - congratulations India.

  • I LOVE THIS SONG! I first heard it in my gifted class and Mrs. Eileen Poling showed it to me and my class. I want to work for NASA when i grow up and look forward to the day that we will be able to live on the moon.

  • Great song, can anybody send me the instrumental notes of this song?

  • ohio is building a prison there i heard... btw horrible music

  • I don't even think it'd mean any thing if we found water on the moon, water is just a chemical compound that can be any where for any reason.

  • good song....btw what the hec are u all talking about?

  • get lost. im crist but not a rasist!

  • a good friend of mine is Egyptian Muslim... his name is Muhammed...

  • Is there enough water o nthe Moon to be able to put a permanent Base there ?

Does water exist stuck in rocks ? Can Rocks be heated so the moisture can evaporate and be collected ?

  • If we did not invest the time, the energy into scientific research, then we would not be able to confirm or disprove claims in your book. And how dare you bring up issues of capital, when countries invest far more in wars and weaponry, I would rather they spend that money on scientific endeavours.

  • @TurboDally It is called stupidity spending billions on looking for water. Claims in your book lol. Your an idiot.

  • "It is called stupidity spending billions on looking for water."

It is unfortunate you do not understand the significance of the experiment. And the billions spent on the LCROSS mission, is nothing compared to what people spend on many many other things.

  • @TurboDally This LCROSS mission, just another waste of time and money. Just like moon lending was bullshit. Just to fool idiots like you into believing in some bullshit. The American government and media already does that on mass of the people.

  • To someone who does not value science, it means nothing, it is insignificant to them. They laugh at such endeavours.

For someone who values scientific endeavours and the progress of humanity, it matters every bit. Nasa is just another entity enhancing our knowledge in the fields of aeronautics, whilst other entities further our knowledge in technolog & medicine.

Growing a piece of fungus at the time seemed insignificant, silly, yet we see the results of its discovery today :)

  • @TurboDally

One rascal is leading another rascal to his grave of repeated birth and death.

  • No good scientific evidence has been presented for the reincarnation you speak of.

And even if reincarnation was true, the fact that I have no memory of my previous joons makes the whole thing pointless anyway, its not going to be me if I don't have my memories you know? The things that make me, me, are my previous memories/experience.

  • @TurboDally LOL. Your just an average rascal you don't remember so many things. Do you remember what you had for lunch/dinner last month. So your nonsense argument is pointless. The fact still remains your science cannot explain (many things) like intimate details of the soul consciousness etc. A sick men doesn't know his sick until he visits a doctor. To a rascal many things are pointless because they demand remembrance and experience but their is no experience for subtle truths to a rascal.

  • Thats right, science cannot explain many things. But that is no excuse to fill gaps in knowledge with lovey dovey fairy tales to make us feel we know something when we don't.

Day by day, we learn more about the human body, consciousness although complex is becoming more well understood.

Also, your mantra of "rascal" will not release you from the cycle of condescending attitude.

  • "...stated in the Vedas"

If the Vedas do indeed state this, then this experiment would lead credence to the Vedas.

"...they would save billions of dollars"

The cost of LCROSS is about $79 million:

-water on planets such as the moon increase prospects of water being in various planets

-water is the basis of life, if water is common...

-when on the moon, the water can be used as fuel/converted to other useful products

-water on the moon could save billions in the long run

  • @TurboDally

No point in wasting time on a fool/rascals like you.

  • And hence you will delve into the superstitous realm and wishful thinking. I however will enjoy what science brings and help contribute if and when I can, with EVIDENCE of course and not ancient scripture :)

Goodluck to you sir. Minu dukh hai ke tera damag nahee kam karda.

  • @TurboDally The science of Krsna consciousness is older then you think. Thousands and Millions of years older then your so called science. It also has answers to all your questions. The thing is for a non believer they think its mythology. But fact is a fact. You can see in India temples dating back thousands of years. Who cars what a rascal/atheists thinks.

  • "Thousands and Millions of years older then your so called science."

Humans were not even around millions of years ago....

"The thing is for a non believer they think its mythology."

And there is a reason, we rely heavily on evidence, of course empirical evidence and not just assertions without evidence y'know, but thats why they call us nastiks...

"Who cars what a rascal/atheists thinks."

Apparently you do, which is why you constantly spout your nonsense.

  • "Do you remember what you had for lunch/dinner last month."

No, but I can keep a log. I can also have recordings and have those recordings played back. But so far you have not put forth evidence of reincarnation.

"The fact still remains your science cannot explain (many things)"

Science has a habbit of discovering new things everyday.

"A sick men doesn't know his sick until he visits a doctor."

The sick man being the ignorant man, the doctor being science. With science we discover.

  • HOAX

  • dis nig donah wht da hell he on about. I caint stand u piece of shit leiberals walkin round like yall betta dan conservs go fuck ya wives or sumthin cuz dey prolly aint gettin any. dumb bitchez. whore

  • lolz!! Damn nigga! you soundin hard! wit all dis kind of text!

  • That's weird! Some nigger hacked my account and typed this bullshit here that probably no one can read. I apologize on behalf of all the niggers that are reading this. I don't like the "N" word at all!

  • wow... really??

  • hahaha... humans... they think they own this solar system... they're going to mess it up just like they messed up this beautiful planet...

  • true that. but were not gonna get anywhere past mars mars for hundreds and hundreds of years

  • I can't be sure about that :-?? I mean... there will be other ways... and besides... we won't go there and decimate anything directly... we're smarter than that :))

  • we can change that...

  • of course... we CAN...but will we?

  • I'm trying.

  • You have to be CONVINCED that you WILL... trying is... just not ... enough...

  • trying is working for me... that means i'm actually doing things to change the world.

I'll will change the world, you will change the world and some other revolutionaries like you and me.

  • you don't have to DO things TO CHANGE the world... you have TO CHANGE the people, so that they WILL change the world... Don't pray for a BETTER WORLD... pray for BETTER PEOPLE... or make the people BE the world that they SHOULD... not the ones you WANT... :)

  • praying won't do a thing. Its all up to you whether you see it or not. The only things that can CHANGE humanity are Love, knowledge, and respect... unfortunately not everyone wants to change, some just like to live the moment, others don't give a crap about others. selfish people.

2012 will change our humanity, we will evolve... from homosapiens to homospiritus.

  • That's not going TO CHANGE US... for SELFCHANGE is the way to CHANGE OURSELVES... Besides... homospiritus... is just a PHASE OF CHANGE... NOT EVEN the gods KNOW what we will be in the final version of CHANGE... as EVERYTHING is INFINITE... so can be the CHANGES... the GOOD THINGS must not change... the GOOD PEOPLE must not change... 2012 will be JUST the beginning... of CHANGE... what's nest I want to know... so I know If I'll CHANGE it ... or not...

  • how do you know what the gods know? the only thing we know is that we know nothing... reality as you see it might be a projection of your mind, we might be living the dream of someone else. perhaps we are only a thought. no one really knows, but whatever it is is magical is bigger than us bigger than time and the universes. everything is infinite, that's so true. i can't deny that.

  • because gods... haven't created us... we created them...

  • what? that's nonsense. we are gods yet remain merely human- my friend told me that and i agree with that. who created us?

  • We have evolved from the simplest organisms ever found... protosaurus... that's what we were in the beginning...

  • good and bad are only words. pot is bad for you some people say, but i think smoking pot is good. you get my point? we can change pretty much everything with our thoughts man. weather you believe in God or not im sure you will understand this. since God created us in his own image we must be perfect just like him, we must be light beings just like him, we can do and undo. we are the alpha and omega.

  • Alpha, and Omega... are... just phases... there is NO end... as there was NO beginning... there is NO source as NO destination... that's why we are all FREE to explore, and modify, as we DESIRE...

  • there is an end. but there's always a new beginning too. what makes you say that there is no source or destination?

i know we are all free but the gov. won't let us be free that's why we are still living worse than animals.

  • The universe began it's life when it was smaller than a mere... neutrino... and it will end it's life in the same estate... it's not infinite in space, nor time... so why bother calling it beginning or end when basically they're just phases? as for the govt... it has secrets about which... we're not supposed to talk about... officially... it's elementary to think about life being beautiful on this planet, without knowing it's predictability...

  • ohh yess... you see, i like your theory. but the amazing thing is that i can also come up with different theories and that's the beauty of it. we know there is so much out there we just have to prove it. nothing will ever end. its just the beginning of a new process a new state, a new life or phase.

the govt. has been hiding a lot of stuff from us. and its because of power. the selfishness of humans and because they don't want us to be scare. the world can only hold certain amount of humans.

  • Uh... you know...? we're going too far with this, the short version of all these comments is this: Humans are afraid of what they don't understand, they invent stories about the stuff they don't know, and when they actually discover how it really is, they say: we knew that... but nobody knows nothing in the essence...

  • i heard they found a bottle of evian too

  • so this means possible LIFE on mars rite?

  • fuck the NASA, the Indians were the first ones to discover water on the moon. NASA is hiding so much from us.

  • Tell India to get a better publicist. PS its not that NASA is claiming to have discovered water on the moon. Its been known for a long time water is on the moon. NASA just discovered the fact that there is more than previously thought.

  • watch my video its about real water on the moon no joke.

  • i'ts great music (for me) but everyone got another taste, so don't bring your taste as a fact, it's a individual fact.

  • Interestingly enough, the moon is not owned by NASA. If they wanted to know about water on the moon, they should have just asked me rather than blowing a big chunk out of it. There is obviously water and, most probably, life everywhere. The knowledge obtained from this destruction is of no importance.

  • did they find shit too???..what waste of money when usa economy is fucked up....

  • I'd rather we spent money trying to find water on the moon, then waste trillions of dollars fighting a war for oil in the middle east.

At least with this, we can put a base on the moon which will further human exploration and knowlege of the solar system. With the trillion + dollar war we only get enemies.

  • @Sutone90 hehe, hell! maybe theres oil on the moon! XD then we'd all be facepalming..

  • I hear Coca-Cola has already signed a deal with NASA to build a bottling plant there.

  • 1. From water it's possible to make drinking water.

    2. Now it's possible to make oxigen from it, so moon base now can be real as never before.

    3. Oxigen and Hydrogen is the fuel for rockets.

The video is great and the music also cool. Thanks.

  • @showyome just turn off the volume!!

  • Someone knowledgeable in the field inform me, how much important is this discovery? Now i know that water means there's a possible condition to develop life -- but how can water on the moon's surface benefit us, whether directly or indirectly . .

  • Awesome, they finally have proof of the water now. That's a huge step up. If it's on the moon, there's no reason why it shouldn't be on Mars.

  • Who knows! Maybe we're so dumb that the more we keep anticipating that the world is going to end in 2012, it just might happen. But you need to get your head out of your ass if you believe this crap from the movies.

  • i bet its poland spring ))) and whats up with song ? ))

  • I think as private sectors and smaller goverments are beginning to explore space it will make this things harder to hide.

There is no way that nasa didint know there was water on the moon, Maybe someone was about to go public with this information.

  • Oh puleeze......They knew there was water on the moon at least fifty fucking years ago. Something else is going on. Something too big to hide.

  • its not even a bomb, its just a rocket

  • this is near its south pole

  • bring water here!

  • It found water!!!!!!! Was in news today!!!!!

  • fantastic

  • name of the song?

  • its a small bomb stop being a crazy dumb fuck

  • ZOMGS THEYS FOUNDS WATERS ONS THES MOONS thats sos cools. now all the 2012 believers can calm down and move to the lunar base.

  • ok 1. speak english 2. they did that so they can see if u can live on moon 3. were not gonna die in 2012

  • 1. n0rml 3ngl1sh r 4 n00bZ 2. yes. 3. I know, I just said the ones who do believe it can calm down now.

  • hat's so cooooooooooool...lol..no we can't swim on the moon..LOL

  • Water is everywhere, isn't it?!? If Earth ever runs out of water, lets suck all the water from the moon then bring it to Earth! Well, that's my opinion

  • what if it s the opposite, what if the earth is full of watter? then? do we have to go and live in the moon? :d:d

  • @sexseek23 lol

  • Great now people will begin to drown there not choke xD

  • Look on Google Bg

  • Look on google UK.

  • CELINE DION STOLE THIS IDEA ALREADY!!

LCROSS = Lunacy Causes Real Old Stupid Shit

    these songs blow

    :)

  • we can swim on the moon :D

  • your right! xD

  • ?...

  • theres water on uranus and all others theres ice u know that earth only had life on it no otheres in the solar system

  • Who gives a flying shit what is on the moon. Big fucking deal. What, are we going to inhabit the moon once we destroy Earth?

  • did you quote that from rush limbaugh? Ugh. That guy is an idiot...

  • Lol, what? No, I said what was on my mind!

  • Why didn't they look for water back when they were dropping spacecrafts full of astronouts and driving dune buggies around? They probably didn't think of that 40 years ago, right? What a sham. Search "A funny thing happened on the way to the moon". Truth rules.

  • damn, so what if they found water on Earth?? It takes A LOT OF POLLUTION to get to space... so there's no shit, lol

  • Dude! I love water!

  • postpone WWIII

  • OH YEAH!!!!

  • This is awesome!! :D

They actually found water on the Moon!!!!!!

  • we just need oxygen there and we can all migrate to the moon ! kewl !

  • electricity + water = hydrogen (fuel) and Oxygen :D

  • Walmart is going to open a new store over there!!

    Just kidding.

  • the real thing how long hae they known and when have they decided to relase this information.......

  • its pretty cool that they found water, looks like we are going to populate it someday, not that we woldn't just that it would be easier

  • Hooah! America is the first one to discover it 2!

  • EWTF!!"1!?

  • unbelivebal that they acktualy found water on the moon !!!!" there lies the answer of the human- race"

  • If there is life on Earth don't you think there is life on other planets?!

  • saw it happen thru a 10 inch telescope.

  • i fukin creaped out x[

  • You guys obviously don't understand what the video and song is about. On this Friday NASA is crashing a probe into the south pole of the moon to see if there's frozen water so that way in 2020 when they set up on the moon, they might have a water source.

  • Yeah I just saw that news report now, I'm kinda psyched for this event. Hopefully the world doesn't end in 2012 though xD

  • I'm not saying that this is going to cause the world to end in 2012...You would know what I'm talking about if you heard of the Mayan Calender.

  • you wanna know why the mayan's stopped the calender at 2012...They were tired of chiseling into freakin rock.

  • they just found water on the moon.

  • HOLY SHIT,there is water on the moon?

  • I LOVE this song and video. It makes me feel like I used to feel, when I wanted to be an astronaut when I grew up and read everything I could about space! I wish I could take part in this!

  • Comment removed

  • other than the fact that people tend to have a visceral knee-jerk reaction to the word "bombing", what exactly is your objection? The moon is not a habitat. It harbors no life, no ecosystems to be disrupted. It's a rock. If water could be found on the moon it could remove a big obstacle in setting up manned science research stations on the moon. Sounds worthwhile to me!

Plus.. the song is great!!! I downloaded it to my ipod from the Nasa site. Great job guys!

  • i love this song they should make it able to buy on itunes

  • It was just on NASA TV again!

(I tend to turn it on at around L-minus-2 days for shuttle missions, and just let it run and use my electricity for the next two weeks... I've seen the same weather briefing 3 times today... what class of geek is it called when you know what Kathy Winters is going to say next?)

  • I really like this. I liked it when somebody linked to it from a Facebook group last week -- and now just yesterday it turned up on NASA TV. I was in the other room, and "hey wait a second - that sounds familiar!" It's always nice to see that space is more than a 9-to-5 job for the people fortunate enough to work on it.

  • Thanks for the kind words. I really enjoyed putting this song together with John.

  • I'm mailing this to everyone I know, to see how well-known we can get this!

  • Wow! How cool would this be as a recruiting tool for the next generation of "Cool Geeks" needed to continue our push into space? Great job to all concerned for the program, the successful launch yesterday, and the use of this video to present a layman's understanding of this important work.

  • I love it :)!

  • Me too! Such an inspiring, well constructed, and performed song. Catchy and rhythmic enough for adults to enjoy, simple enough for children to sing and enjoy. I hope it becomes a gradeschool standard, an inspiration they can carry along their way which continually points their minds skyward, "searching for the answers". continually making "faster, faster" incremental steps, like "finding water on the moon" :)

  • :))))
