Love this song, I'm a lover of all music from hip to country, you name it...if it's good ill play it but this is one of my favorite all time songs. Heard it in Tonga of all places and went back there in 2003 to find it listed on Tonga's top 40....only the GREAT songs can be released so and so years ago and then end up on the charts again just because people still want to listen to it!
Thank God for the pc and web. All these GRATE songs would be lost for ever in Dancy's Dreams!!! I love this group I would go see them right now without them doing one new song. Thanks for all the grate songs and the memories that come with them.
big fan, saw them just a few years back at a very small venue. Sounded great, Larry Stewart has always been my favorite country male vocalist. He still has it!
I'm not really a country girl but I've always loved this band since I heard Fast Moving Train back in the early 90's. I have to put them up there amongst my all time favorites....
Was there a better band than this from the 80`s until now? Songwriting, harmonies, musicanship, I don`t think so. One of the most underrated bands ever, without a doubt! I will always love this band!
@tigerlifer55 I whole heartedly agree. So much talent in one group. I loved them instantly first time I heard them. Whenever a new album came out I ran down to the store and got it. I miss the days before internet believe it or not.
This was my FAVORITE band back in the 80s!!! Their harmonies were amazing and they were honestly ahead of their time! Put these songs out now against Rascal Flats and they'd be kicking ass!
This shit is the best. It reminds me of my parents dancing in the kitchen. Loving life. I thought i was cramping their style by watching. I was being taught how to treat my future wife by hanging out w/her, at home, with our kids, all of us dancing and carrying on and laughing at dad trying to be slick.
AngelaRed I listen to all of them and more and I am only 15 but I love Older Country Music of course they didn't have the advantages of great Electric Guitar Rhythms but hey you go with what you have
Sadly my dad did not listen to Restless Heart, he listened to Alabama, Willie Nelson, and Edie Rabbitt. I discoverd Restless Heart on my own in the late 90's when I was 18. I bought the greatest hits and I only knew like 3 songs. "I'll still..." "When she cries" and that other pop song. Anyways I ended up liking every single song on the album. Thats not normal for me. I usally like only a few songs.
I grew up with these songs. My mother played them so many times that now at 28, I get pieces of them stuck in my head. Took forever to track down a couple of their songs with just bits of lyrics and no clue who they were.
When a song is still in your head after 20 years, that is some wonderful work! LOL I love this band and am so glad I was able to track them down. Thank you so much for posting this music.

Restless Heart is one of those bands that will never get old. I played "Long Lost Friend" at my husbands funeral. It was the perfect song.

RH hit #1 in Billboard, 12-17-88. Love how the writers of Clinton Gregory's 'I'd go crazy' snuck the title of RH's song into the lyrics. God bless!
