I think she at least lived in Florida but I'm not sure where she's from. I did get a chance to see her TEAR up the track, in person. We both made it to the USATF National Junior Olympics in Omaha, NE 1999 and it seem like every event she participated in you would hear......."Sonya Richards breaks another meet record." It's nice to see all of her hard work and dedication pay off. CONGRATS!!!

I have travelled and resided  in the States before, and whereever I went, everybody I knew, was aware of the fact that I was Jamaican or at least a foreigner.
