you can play it like that but the better way is on the A and D string(standerd tuning)
starts off with the 1st finger in the 2nd fret and 3rd in the 4th frett and then 1st finger goes to 5th frett(7th fret for 3rd finger) strum twice then first goes to the 7th frett and then you play the bit at the end that goes for the first finger 10,9,10,9,10. after that you play that on the A string but 3 times and it goes back to the A and D string and you play that 3 times. it sounds better
