Also When Is Cilans Pansage going to evolve or Iris's Axew evolve or even Iris get a Druddigon or a  or Deino or Cilan get a Ferroseed or a Deerling that can only stay summer form because it would look weird when they change form. Also if Ash has to catch another pokemon he should get a Shiny Solosis so it can evolve and become a Shiny Reuniclus.

Yeah Swadloon evolves into leavanny, Tranquill into Unfezant, Tepig into Pignite, the sunglasses Krookorok is caught by Ash, probably in episode 67 which is titled: Double Battle! Pikachu & Krokorok VS Scolipede & Seismitoad!! Basically Ash coontrols Krookorok in a double battle, i bet that he catches it in the episode after the battle. It's very possible that Oshawott evolves, i mean we havent seen much of Dewott in the anime, and Samurott hasnt debuted, same for Emboar, Pignite might evolve.

to be honest i think that snivy deserves to go all the way to 3rd tepid 2nd and then maybe 3rd right before the unova league or for the final gym like infernape and oshawott i want to evolve then stay a dewott as it is such a cool pokemon and i think all of his other pokemon will evolve as tranquil has to its a bird swadloon will as ash cares for his pokemon happiness should be sky high scraggy will evolve to prove itself and boldore will evolve by trip trading and palpitoad will evolve for fun

I have a feeling that Ash will capture cryogonal too...The Krokoorok with sunglasses has to be Ashes', but he should have appeared in the team plasma/team rocket episodes, who knows if he was captured and he hasnt appeared yet because they cant show him because something happened to him in those episodes, maybe he is already Ashes'. Ash may also capture either: Tirtouga, Ferroseed, Heatmor, or Durant, just a possibility. He needs a couple more pokemon to make the series more interesting.

Snivy and Oshawott battle in the 5th gym, which gets them nice experience. Ashes' pokemon are really boned to him, the starters have strong feeling for him, that is another reason why they will answer to Ashes' call and evolve, i hope i am not wrong because the starter's evolution would be kick asss, especially 3rd line evolutions, if they evolve, i bet they would just o from 1st evolution to 2nd, and maybe just ggo to the 3rd one in a few episodes just like chimchar did.

Snivy has her own personality, at the same time she is really strong...it;s hard to guess and predict what will happen to the starters, but in 2012 i bet that there will be some epic an dramatic episodes, especially with the starters. Tepig kicks ass, he may become a 3rd evolution powerhouse, we havent even seen emboar. Oshawott is becoming stronger and stronger, actually he may make it to the 3rd evolution, but he is the weakest of the starters. They are gettin more and more exp...

The gym battles and plasma vs team rocket battles may involved a lot of evolutions, and even the Isshu league may have evolutions. The series is going really fast, i bet that the writers are saving the best for the end. Ash may even win the league this time, and he may go training where his pokemon will evolve in order to challenge the elite four. There are a lot of possibilities, and the other starter pokemons beloning to Trip, Bianca, etc maybe stay in their 2nd evolution while Ashes

Well i personally think that after the fifth ym battle there are other important gym battles, the sixth, seventh, and eigth. I bet that these gym abttles will be more difficult, and one of them could be against Iris, the last one. Also tthey may not be 3 vs 3, perhaps 4 vs 4 or 5 vs 5 gym battles, who knows. Also it is possible that Ash will capture a few more pokemons along the wway. I think that the Plasma vs Team Rocket battles will be aired, i mean, they are partt of the strory line.

Well I must say, after 38 episodes with 20 pointless fillers, 3 measily new attacks learned and no evolutions whatsoever, it's about time some Pokemon evolve :)

And as we get pass the fifth gym, realised the writers just aren't going to evolve Snivy, Tepig or Oshawott because they would have ages ago. As for Scraggy he probably won't either due to him being young and Ash being halfway done the gyms already but Tranquill is most likely to just like his other region birds.

Treecko spent 59 episodes before evolving

Chimchar spent 129 episodes before evolving

Turtwig spent 95 episodes before evolving

Chikorita spent 73 episodes before evolving

Yes there are only three more gyms to go but there are still other things to take in to account it's not just gym battles. Not only that but pokemon tend to mostly spend less time in the middle stage.

@LadyCorsaires I guess, but Trip has a Servine, Bianca has Pignite and Burgundy has Dewott. If they have already shown their evolutions in the anime, and made them belong to the major rivals I don't get why Ash would have the same as them, therefore I don't think they will evolve because they will all have duplicate Pokemon.

@Pegashy123 True but Paul in fact had a starter as well but it didn't stop Turtwig. Also Barry's Staraptor showed up before Ash's Staravia evolved not to mention both Kenny and Barry both have Empoleon. In minor examples Casey's Bayleef popped up before Ash's and she's a recurring character not unlike Bianca.

My guess is they may either evolve before Ash's pokemon or discretely be rotated out. No one said that Servine, Pignite and Dewott were permanent parts of there team.

@LadyCorsaires Oh yeah, I forgot Paul had one too but another reason I don't think his starters will evolve is because of their personalities. Tepig may evolve because he doesn't really have one, he just hates to lose that's about it, but Snivy I think resents Trip's Servine and wants to prove she can beat him without evolving because she can usually handle herself against tough foes. Oshawott is funny, but if he becomes Dewott he won't be as cute and maybe not jealous of Pikachu cuz he's bigger
