  • well this poor kid is probably going to have all kinds of problems as he grows...

  • BULL FUCKING SHIT BITCH PLEASE

  • that looks like it feels soooo good!

  • In my opinion the only benefit here is for the chiropractor. Kids don't need Chiropractic adjustments.

  • @workingstiff76 your opinion is baseless. the cause of most disease begins in childhood from nerve interference. far smarter to prevent problems than to try to correct them later.

  • @hiodr "cause of most disease begins in childhood from nerve interference" -- proof please.

  • @mrichman there is no proof. "Straight" chiropractors get fed that BS when they're in school. Half of chiros have this philosophy, and the other half are more science-based (they're called "mixers")

  • @workingstiff76 your opinion is totally ignorant and worthless. how do you think adults develop health problems? most are the result of years of degenerative eprocess from a problem that begins in childhood. you don't know a damn thing about the cause and development of illness.

  • @workingstiff76 iunno, i went when i was a kid and i felt sooo good when i was done...now i dont go and my back is always killing me so =|

  • my backs cracked a lot worse than that

  • Comment removed

  • why would a kid need there back cracked like that ?

  • @dida079 some kids have back problems

  • @Tarn1968 if that's the case, the devil sure gives good chiropractic! Chiropractic Now!

  • Chiropractic Rules!

  • Sorry these are posting in reverse. lastly, one cannot extrapolate other efficacies from the study like: immunological implications, preventative implications etc. The study examined disc protrusions and sciatica only. I say this bc this is the article you pointed out after we've discussed vaccines and other topics, so I think it was worth mentioning that the study is not double blind, and was context specific, which is all fine. This is the world of peer review, even tho we arent peers. =)

  • The other thing was: JMPT is a journal not an article but I know you know that. You didnt understand my point on acuity: the PATIENTS are acutely ill in medicine. When patients are of higher acuity, care becomes much more complex and higher mortality and morbidity rate are expected. Higher than for example: an optometrist or chiro. So Ive looked at the article and pointed out the flaws and mentioned shortcomings. small sample size, incorrectly identified study design.

  • That SPINE study was done in the context of disc protrusions and sciatica: a potentially appropriate application of chiro techniques, but certainly is not supportive of the elaborate scope of practice you are advocating. Also, it was not a double blind control trial despite it claiming to be bc the DC would know if a simulated vs real treatment were being delivered. Its not to say all studies HAVE to be double blinded, I dont know why it claimed to be, it wasnt.

  • chiropractic47 I really dont know why, but i get an error every time i try to discuss the SPINE article you cited as double blind study evidence for chiropractic...rrrrrr

  • @jns124able The chiropractic study you try to open on your browser may not like you because it senses you to be a trolling shill of chiropractic miracles? I don't have a study for this hypothesis, just anecdotal for now, LOL! I saw 80 people today (525 pv for the week) three were new patients...migraines, herniated discs, and allergies. I love chiropractic!

  • @chiropractic47 I meant I couldnt post a reply to you. I was able to access the article just fine. I must not be clear in my posts...

In any case, Ive done my part. You seem to have regressed back to the meaningless rhetoric Ive seen before from you. If you want chiro to enjoy a higher level of acceptance in medicine (and I assumed you do since you tell me I MUST refer to dc) then you will really need to do a better job of presenting yourself and defending existing research. (No disrespect.)

  • @jns124able - Your replies are succinct and indicate that you have an open mind towards the subject, and chiro seems to come up wanting in viable proof. Also, a lot of us wouldn't be here today if it weren't for vaccines, or our lives would be greatly reduced in quality.

There is enough regressive thinking going on in the US. Medieval thinking seems to be making a comeback.

Don't worry about "disrespect". Take a look at the reply to me below. Methinks the poster doth protest too much!

  • @Cissy2cute I am a firm believer in evidence. If there is considerable quality evidence for a treatment then I am likely to recommend it or incorporate it into my practice (medical doctor). As for the "poster"...he can't be taken seriously. Even if he were a DC, his philosophy, approach to academics, and personality would turn me off going to his office, (if not the whole discipline).

Intelligent people know whats going on. =)

  • @jns124able The problem remains that organized medicine and big pharma only permit their skewed data to prevail: "as long as the data is skewed toward the use of drugs, etc." Can anyone imagine an MD wanting to support their nemesis...chiropractic? If you watch "Chiropractic for ear infections" the MD refers all his ear infection cases including his own daughter to the featured chiropractic doctor.

  • @Cissy2cute Did you write this while vaccines cause thousands of severe adverse reaction each day? Yes you did! And Cissy, where did jns124able indicate he's open-minded on chiropractic? Outside the ER, medicine is insane. I love it when a drugged up person comes to me and we discuss their exit strategy from pharmaceuticals. Chiropractic!

  • @Cissy2cute ignore that guy. He really cannot engage in an intellectual discussion. He spouts provocations, chants "chiropractic!" like its a mantra, and avoids legitimate challenges. It is completely transparent. He's abusive, and not at all near the level of professional quality we expect from a real health care professional...or any professional really. Im not sure if it reflects him personally or the type of character that is attracted to chiro. *shudder*

  • @jns124able - You're right. Abusive is the word. What bothers me most of all is that if adults want to subject themselves to this "practice' which is an offshoot of the fad of spiritualism, that's fine. But young, growing bodies should not under any circumstances have someone "manipulate" their spines.

    What's next--chanting and rattles?

  • @Cissy2cute Do you abide by the U.S.'s military's "Don't ask don't tell" rule? Your lesbian tendencies reek. Please dusche.

  • @jns124able Don't generalize people like that. I, for example, am I big muscular guy who shaves his head... and loves to sew. You'll always be in for a rude awakening when you generalize people.

  • @MostlyPerfect Im not sure what youre referring to, maybe you could be more specific. Im aware of "big muscular guys that shave their heads" that are gay, that are prison inmates or are businessmen, My appraisal of chiro47, if thats what you are referring to is based on interactions with him, and so i stand by my comments. I also stand by the generalization that people expect more from professionals. I dont expect a rude awakening any time soon. My comments are well considered before i post

  • @jns124able What's this? Why is it now so important for me to behave as a health care professional? Wasn't it you who chanted "Doctors of Chiropractic (DC) are not "Real" doctors, or a legitimate health care professional for that matter. Love your double standard of "Let's debate the legitimacy of what chiropractic claims", and when the research proves the claim..."Oh heck, chiropractic isn't legitimate anyway. My 20 years as a DC, 15,000 pt. files @ 550 pv/week needs not your approval. Chiro!!!

  • @chiropractic47 It is important that you behave as a professional, because you claim to be one. Is that not rudimentary? I do, however, debate the legitimacy of many chiropractic claims. You sent me articles (if you'll recall) and I critiqued them and found them quite lacking. One in fact claimed it was double blinded and it actually was not.If you'll also recall, YOU chose which articles I read. And NOONE has given me an answer as to the proposed mechanism of action for "activators". chiro now?

  • @jns124able There are a few questions to be answered by you as a means to legitimize your claims that: I don't behave as a professional, that you are qualified to analyze chiropractic research data, and are you a health care professional yourself? Somehow you feel you are one with legitimacy soley on your precence here, not to mention the legitimacy to critique chiropractic videos. Who are you? Do you pocess enough health care and scientific knowledge to debate chiropractic or neuro physiology?

  • @chiropractic47 I was an EMT, an RN and now physician.I know how to assess study design and research.Medicine encourages this.A study you provided me misidentified its own design, aside from the other problems.

I receive private emails about this video from other DCs who denounce your knowledge base and behaviour as not representative of the standard they want chiro to be associated with.So this remark about your lack of professional demeanour is also coming from within your profession itself.

  • @jns124able Me and my friends don't give a hang wether you or your purported DC's disapprove of my demeanure. I in particular don't give you anymore legitimacy in reviewing and/or critiquing chiropractic studies. You continue to lack expertice in the field of chiropractic. Attend and graduate from a chiropractic educational institution...then we may talk.

  • @chiropractic47 You asked, so I told.

  • @jns124able "So I told"? You told what? What are you? Some kind of sick child beggin for forgiveness or liency due to your "coming out"? What are you doing here trolling chiropractic videos? R U A video/forum moderator? You possess no qualifications to discuss chiropractic matter. You haven't bothered to read the plethora of chiropractic research put forth to you. Come back when you are thoroughly educated in the art and science of chiropractic...We don't expect your return.

  • @chiropractic47 look, I havent been here for weeks...you posted to me recently, right? Dont ask me questions and then complain that im around to answer them. And what you call trolling is the exact reason youtube has placed this posting feature...you look at videos of interest and post. I read the best you pointed me to. what more do you want? hmm? I go where the intelligent discussion is...so I suppose you wont need to expect me back here. so, ya dont expect my return.

  • @chiropractic47 oh...and you asked my qualifications, so i told.

  • @jns124able "qualifications..." You are not an expert in the art and science of chiropractic, nor do you possess as strong a foundation of the basic and advanced sciences that are taught in chiropractic schools (The Grisanti Report, Dr. Bruley Goes to Chiropractic School, U.S. Dept. of Edu., U.S. Dept of HHS, Coultere, PhD., etc.) Chiropractic Doctors complete 500 more hours in most basic and advanced health sciences than medical students.

  • @chiropractic47 how do you find food?

  • @jns124able I drive to the supermarket or the McDonalds drive threw around the corner from my office...Why? Have a nice weekend.

  • @jns124able most of the wet behind the ears chiropractoids who call themselves "scientific", "evidenc -based", and so forth are just the opposite. they are clueless therapractors who neither know or believe the fundamentals of the profession, and make their claims in a pathetic attempt to "measure up" (actually, measure down) to medical standards of pseudoscientific failure. they are an embarrassment to genuine chiropractic, and a hazard to the consumer who can't tell the difference.

  • Seriously how do you all train for delivering babies in chiro school? It is in your practice act in some states such as Illinois.

  • Everybody should read Spin Doctors to see what chiroquacktic is truly about

  • Not saying it's wrong, but isn't that kid a little young to be having back problems?

  • @xLazyb0nex Chiropractic is soooo much more than fixing back problems. I encourage anyone to do a little research on who founded Chiropractic and the principles behind it. You'll see it wasn't developed to fix back pain. :)

  • @bucknaky33 Ok so what is he being cured of?

  • @xLazyb0nex You just asked the "Medical Mimicry" question of the day: "...what is he being cured of?" Lazy..., would you believe the boy is recieving a nervous system enhancing spinal adjustment? Naah, I wouldn't think you'de understand after all your years of being taught to be "reactive" rather than "proactive" to your health needs. It'll take some time but ya all will catch on...eventually.

  • @chiropractic47 WTF? Why are you mad at me for? I was just asking a question. I have nothing against chiropracters. You can come over and crack my back for me right now.

  • @xLazyb0nex Sorry dude. I mistaken you for someone else. And since I errored I owe you a complimentary day at my office. Be well friend of chiropractic.

  • @chiropractic47 It happens. Take care bud.

  • @bucknaky33 i did my research, chiroquacktic was founded by a gentleman who believed that he could cure deafness...now crimoquacktors are only back clinicians since the world has realized that their founding principles were founed on quackery...once PTs hire the appropriate lobbyists, chiroquacktors will take a hit within the next 10 years...why go to a chiroquacktor for 20 years when you can be fixed by a PT in less than a month?

  • @AthleticsJunkie First: You must first get off the "junk" before laying out anything near a coherent post. Second: Chiropractic remains the fastest growing primary health care delivery system in the U.S. Third: PT is not a field of health care that primarily focuses on the spine and nervous system. Most of my patients tried PT, eventually landing in my office to recieve the appropriate care. Fourth: "Fixed"? Truelly a "medical mimicry" word. Meaning what?

  • @xLazyb0nex What happens when a baby has a traumatic birth? A trip and fall? etc. What happens when the spinal adjustment enhances the childs immune response? etc. Now all children should be checked and recieve much necessary spinal adjustments. Chiropractic for all!

  • why would you ever have a small child get this kind of treatment? this would ruin his joints!

  • You obviously know nothing about chiropractic and neurophysiology. Do you give your children vaccinations and drugs?...I thought so. Give them chiropractic instead.

  • @chiropractic47 Are you advocating against vaccinations?

  • @IIBostonII obviously you know little if none of the body and how chiropractic spinal adjustments help and/or enhance its functions. Get thee to a chiropractic doctor to learn the "truth" that chiropractic health care is not an alternative to medicine but the first line of help and wellness. Chiropractic!

  • This loser QUACKpractor47 really needs to chill out and get a life. Sending out spam to commenters about all the numbers of god-fearing people murdered by all the incompetent MDs is a bush-league attempt at a rational argument.

Quit pissing all over yourself and find a little bit of self-control you quack-tard. :P

  • Let the statistics (medicine is the third leading cause of death in the U.S.) speak for themselves. CHIROPRACTIC!!!

  • @chiropractic47 if you honestly believe medicine is the third leading cause of death in the US, you are a moron

  • @chiropractic47 Stats cannot speak for themselves...they must be analyzed properly in context, otherwise they are easily manipulated and meaningless.

  • @morphosis2007 We understand you've "morphed" into a slug as a means to crawl under womens toilet stalls.

  • children aren't even solid bone. that's fucked up.

  • good video

  • mmm sounds very delicious small crunches

  • Chiropedophilia!

  • No...what is sick is posting video of shirtless boys being manhandled by quacks out to make an easy buck! I don't know what is more sick, pervs that would get off on this or the "doctors" that allow their "calling" to be broadcast as anything other than shameless marketing.

  • @morphosis2007 You're a pedophile? Why are you admitting to this? You're a friggin gross pig! You're sick!

  • @morphosis2007 What? You "morphed" into a pedphile? Chiropractic is the best health care delivery system!

  • that sounds sick

  • Anyone who would subject their child to this is obviously taken in by chiropractic's intense propaganda. I cannot watch this video anymore as each time I hear that crack I get even more upset.

Chiropractic and Homeopathy--two unproven methods which prey on the layperson's lack of knowledge. If grown ups want to waste their money and possible injury that's fine, but no child should be subjected to this. Just because the chiropractic lobby is huge doesn't make them right.

    Subluxation, anyone?

  • Yeah, and yet you're back. Here's a hanky.

Chiropractic lobby is huge alright. The industry produces less than .5% of what just Eli Lilly alone does (that's just one single big pharma compnay). Yes, huge! You're certainly not being duped by the garbage QW is dishing out either. Sucker born every minute.... Yes, watching ESPN today I saw....dozens...no...0 chiro ads, but I did get to see at least ten Viagra ads.

  • Chiropractic lobby? Almost non- existent. I see 525 pv/week, 100 is children of other Drs., lawyers, teachers, etc. They jump on the tables I'd suggest you catch up with the rest. Chiropractic is safe, effective, and more efficient than medicine.Shoot! I forgot to ask Cissy. What would be your reaction to little children recieving 40 vaccination shots ( needles with viruses, drugs, formaldehyde, aluminum, chemicals, fecal material, aborted fetuses, etc.?) into tiny muscles within three years?

  • @chiropractic47 where is the data suggesting chiropractic is more effective than conventional medicine? I especially caught the way you described "tiny muscles" in a way that suggests barbarism against the tiny helpless. Vaccines save lives. I am very dismayed that an educated person cannot find reliable information on vaccines and their ingredients. I suppose though, considering the competitive agenda it seems you have, those statements shouldnt surprise me.

  • @jns124able jns124able you QUACK! You, the pope, Obama, your pregnant sista, etc. can find the ingredients in vaccines. The ingredients constituting vaccines would make Hulk Hogan puke and faint. Your dopey medic. When arrive at my 500+ pv/week chiropractic practice I think of ways to deter people from being maimed or killed by your like. Your kind kills millions each year. No wonder chiropractic doctors are the fastest growing primary care provider in the U.S.

  • @chiropractic47 @chiropractic47 Well, Ill say this more for those reading this than yourself: Ive done some considerable looking into the ingredients of vaccines. They are safe. The thimerosal etc have been used for decades and some (like thimerosal) have different forms and the less toxic form is used. Tuna has the toxic form. Anyways, In excessive or inappropriate doses any drug is a toxin. Stop relying on half-truths for whatever reason.

  • @jns124able "...ingredients of vaccines. They are safe." Oh g-d your warped.

  • @chiropractic47 yes....safe.

  • @chiropractic47 You really should be more responsible in how you discuss and engage other heath care professionals regarding their fields of knowledge. I wish you luck and even more luck to your patients...if you actually are a chiropractor and not a first or second year student that still is "drunk" on the idea that you may one day be a chiro. You are not fooling me tho sir.

  • @jns124able I hold a BS Biology and a DC, and after 20 years in chiropractic seeing 500+ pv/week, "...still is "drunk" on the idea that..." I am a chiropractic doctor. Now for you? Trolling a chiropractic YouTube video, trying so very hard but failing miserably to smack down its purpose. Why? And don't give us the bullshit line that its not scientific while only 15% of medicine is verifiable. The MD's who's patients come to me tell them: "If it works then try it". What about you?

  • @chiropractic47 Ultimately what you seem to be telling me is that you are, in fact, the best that chiropractic education has to offer. Duly noted. I hope im not overly offensive if I say I remain unimpressed.

Arent you the gent that posted on a utube video saying that an optic chiasm lesion produced unilateral vision loss? Apologies if it was a different DC...its been months since Ive posted on these sights since Ive gotten busier.

  • @chiropractic47 and no sir, I will not recommend an unproven therapy that costs my patients money and poses potential risks. You may quote the numbers of people that you see, as well as engage in a personal banter with me...but it wont change my practice or the practice of evidence based medicine in general. You may disagree with me about whether chiro is evidence based, but surely you agree that patient care should be evidence based. Perhaps not, since you ask "why not if they feel better".

  • @jns124able There are three critical reasons why you "must" change the course of your pracrtice of allopathy. 1. Chiropractic is supported in scientific journals, it's not our fault allopathy chooses to stick its head in the sand. 2. Allopathic health care is the leading cause of personal bankrupcy in the U.S. 3. Allopathy is the third largest cause of death in the U.S. (800,000 dead by medicine last year) 4. Only 15% of allopathic drugs are understood. 5. The people want chiropractic!

  • @chiropractic47 1. not a single double blind trial to prove efficacy of chiro. 2. The practice of medicine does not bankrupt people...the structure of a country's healthcare system may. 3. when you are dealing with a field as complex as medicine, iatrogenesis is a greater risk than say, chiro, which does not share the same acuity. You seem to miss these basic yet critical points. The more you talk...the more confident I am in not sending my patients to anyone who shares your attitudes.

  • @jns124able 1. Chiropractic is supported by numerous double blind studies (SPINE, JMPT, etc.) Get your head out of the sand. 2. The practice of medicine with its too numerous to count "Cover yer Ass" tests and huge overutilization of very expensive surgeries...has bankrupted most filers of bankrupcy. 3. Yes, the methodology and practice of medicine is too complex thus lacks "acuity". 4. You will send whatever patients you have to a DC because you and them are lost without chiropractic.

  • @chiropractic47 I will have a look at these examples provided you manage to find a way to curb your insulting and arrogant tone. Noone has their head in the sand in this discussion simply because they dont agree with you. Perhaps they know something that you don't...in which case your own head might be in the sand, right? Ill look at these articles for my own professional knowledge. Should mention that I can see already that the SPINE trial is not a true double blind clinical trial.

  • Comment removed

  • @jns124able perhaps both of us should tone down our arrogant tones?

  • @jns124able If you don't know what vaccines are made of, They are made of the same toxoids, virus',bacteria and are rewritten to kill other harmful celluloids that are alike them in every way from Rna,Dna to elements then commit suicide in a way as getting peed out or crapped out. (If you didn't know that i read you're conversation with chropractic47 and thought you didn't know what it was.)

  • @TheCrampz yes thankyou I know what they are and how they work.

  • @TheCrampz im not sure you know tho. commit suicide to be peed or crapped out? hehe

  • @jns124able well i do know. :) But what i said might be led off course a little but i am 100% sure what i said was right

  • @TheCrampz Whats your background? Have you studied formally or..? Dont worry, Im just curious and making chat, not trying to set myself up for any attack on your credentials =P I study medicine in Canada.

  • @jns124able My background is a catgirl dog thingy, No i have not studied formally im 16 and a sophmore xD, It's okay to dis my highschool credits they're all perfect anyway :). Thats pretty cool you're from canada, I am from Iceland.

  • @Cissy2cute Stop being a "Cissy" and be real. You know nothing about chiropractic except to shill it. When you cease from being a shit head you will begin to open your mind and join the hundreds of thousands of parents in the U.S. who rely on chiropractic care for their families health. Remember, today you are a shithead, tomorrow?

  • @chiropractic47 - The only people being duped (I refuse to stoop to name calling) are those who haven't studied the history of this dubious practice and the fact that it has rarely been proven to be any better than doing nothing at all. The "mind over matter" effect is at work here.

  • @Cissy2cute I love your "Open Minded" approach to chiropractic! Your a lesbian troll/shill and need to hang out at the accordingly videos.

  • @chiropractic47 - I've had my own experiences with this business. I was told that I had disintegrating discs and needed the (usual) 3x a week treatment plus attend a seminar based on reeling in the flock.

I took the x-rays to an ortho and he said everyone's discs get smaller as they descend down the vertebral column and what I had was bursitis in my left hip.

Further chiro treatment would have exacerbated my condition. Good thing I'm not easily brainwashed.

And just what IS a subluxation?

  • @chiropractic47 thats a terrible way to talk to anyone. You should be ashamed of yourself.

  • @jns124able Screw her...Cissy had it coming to her, LOL! If your going to troll and shill chiropractic videos then ya better get ready to be bitch slapped. I saw 50 people in 4 hours yesterday. My office staff performed wonderfully.Today we'll provide chiropractic primary health services for 100 people within 8 hours before my family heads to Cancun, Mexico. I'll miss my beautiful 500+ pv/week office and my new Jaguar. The people want chiropractic!

  • @chiropractic47 you still think there is some logical connection between # of office visits and efficacy? Weve already discussed quality of evidence and where anecdotal stories fall in the quality of evidence scale. I would suggest this: if you are going to be a member of a profession, you must be able to listen to criticism and engage challenges in the appropriate fashion. Hehe, when I issued a legit challenge re: the article you cited...our discussion seemed to end abruptly. Duly noted. =)

  • another life made better the chiropractic way!

  • Check out QuackWatch and educate yourself, especially parents.

    Also Google "Placebo Effect"

  • Yes, and you will discover what a completely absurd and bias site it really is. Hypocricy abounds on it.

  • Biased? Are the strokes that occurred due to chiro manipulation biased?

Who knows what future damage may occur when someone does such an idiotic and dangerous thing to a child's spinal column, which is still in the formative stage. Oh wait-that means more future patients!

BTW, there is no such thing as a "subluxation". It's a fake term invented to try and give some credence to what can only be termed "bad science".

  • Yes. There is no research backing up those stroke related claims. All the research done so far does NOT backup claims of chiro induced strokes. the latest showed no more chanc eo f a stroke with a DC visit than an MD visit. MD's don't manipulate. But QW won't give us a balanced assessment of it, just biased BS as usual.

And I would say there is 0 future damage happening to these kids, infact I wish I'd have started then.

  • For those who think there is no connection between chiro and strokes, you need to read the report from the Canadian Medical Assocation and its warning from over 60 neurologists about this danger.

As far as QW and BS-I have my own personal experience with Chiro fakery. Was told I had disintegrating discs and had me coming 3x a week (the usual). When a REAL ortho looked at my x-rays he said my discs were entirely normal. 30 yrs. later, they are still fine.

    I was DUPED. Never again.

  • Yes, that's the sole report that creates any connection, and well designed to. In the meantime, we'll ignore the dozen that say otherwise and who aren't sponsored by by those banned from giving testimony in Candian court because of it.

Wow, and noone has ever been duped by MD's or pharmaceuticals, huh?

  • Cissy2cute: Everyone will dupe you these days. Don't just point at chiros. Everyone from your mechanic all the way up to your doctor and dentist have great opportunities, that too many take advantage of, to bilk you out of money. My dad was bounced around from specialist to specialist for a year over his hurting hand. Turns out it's been dislocated for the past year and now he need surgery. Why was he bounced around? Because he had excellent insurance which they were happy to take advantage of.

  • My step mom is a nurse. She sees this sort of thing all the time. This one girl I dated said even veterinarians are in on it. Charging people for anesthetic they never administered to the pet. Is the pet going to tell you "OMG THAT HURT SO MUCH!!" Of coarse not and the vet makes away with your money.

  • Oh you really meant the medical neurologists who were paid to influence the outcome of those who oppose chiropractic so as to further their own agenda? It's ok folks. I counseled Cissy and she apologizes for her mistake.

  • Sorry Cissy. Medical doctors recently came to the rescue of chiropractic and delcared chiropractic and strokes are extremeny rare. In fact they wrote you are more likely to stroke in your hair dressers shampoo sink. You really should catch up Cissy. Chiropractic is for you to use as a corrective and preventative measure. Be well.

  • Which reminds me, I need to see a chiropractic. 4 years ago I played wrestling with one of my cousins and he landed on my spine when I was in a sitting position. I felt 1 - 2 weeks of pain after that everytime I jump and land on my feet. After that I didn't felt the pain but I notice that my height sort of remained the same ; which I didn;t know whether it's natural

or because of the impact. What do you say?

  • Of course seek a chiropractic doctor. People often choose a DC based on the referral of a friend or family. Chiropractic prefers both to see people when they are well an in crisis. Get yourself checke out with a chiropractic exam and x-ray. don't be surprised that you are directed to complete a spine correction phase then encouraged to go 1-2/month as a wellness (preventative) measure. Be well.

  • QW is for humor only,.since most of it is hypocritical BS.

  • I think its funny how all these people that negatively comment on chiropractors are suddenly "Professionals"

    fail. xD

  • LOL ......tapus ka na..? LOL ordinary filipino mom

  • i dont see why everyone things chiropracters are performing some kind of witch craft. i had my first adjustment with a chiropracter two hours ago. i am 17 and have been suffering from a migrane for 11 days. doctors did tests and could not give me a diagnosis, so we saw a chiropracter. after one adjustment the headache is starting to fade. thank goodness.

  • that sucks i feel fine when i leave maybe you should put a bullet in your face to ease the pain

  • Good one, but all I had to do was stop going.

  • wow calm the fuck down. Are you one of those scamy ignorant chiropractic pigS? yea i thought so

  • no i just play soccer for penn i dont have a job right now but i know this works

  • yea you dont have a job? well that tells me allot about you loser

  • yea i play for a d 1 school dont need a job really lol dont hate the player hate the game

  • YEA LOL im sure you play soccer for pen im sure

  • why wouldnt he play for penn ... lol. and its spelled with 2 n's btw

  • i smell a hater

  • i smell a person full of shit

  • haha whatever you say sweetcheeks

  • um why wouldnr he?

  • I agree, I can't help t think of chiropracters as fake Dr.s. But yet I know little of what they learn. I once was in horrible back pain and was afraid to have anyone touch me or adjust me. Some family members say it helps others say no it doesn't help.

  • Uh-oh! Here comes trulyheaven777 again, commenting on comments made months ago, out to rescue chiropractic from these evil youtube meanies who dare say anything bad about it. What a hero!

  • Wow. And here you are, calling people names. Amazing.

  • And here you are, thinking anyone cares about what you have to say. Brilliant.

  • As long as you're replying, someone cares.

  • No, not really. I can spare 5 seconds out of my day to give your miserable life a little excitement.

  • I'm honored. I just can't say the same about the 5 seconds. But I had it today.

  • I'm honored as well to have you keep coming back and reading what I write you, even if a week or more has passed since I last wrote you.

  • Well, it looks like you've already flushed your brain down the toilet.

  • So you consider it dangerous, but if someone wants to, they should do it at home without any training? You are a piece of work.

  • It may sound painful, but really feels great. I like to think of chiropractic as having a bone massage. It feels great, but i've never benefited from it other than for a few minutes after being popped.

  • Spine manipulation isn't proven to help long term, meaning it won't always help spinal posture remain at normal ranges,

  • What is? The body is dynamic and changes all the time. Do you exercise and get in good shape, then after a year of not doing any maintain it?

Most back surgeries have 50% success rate after 3 whole years. Then it goes down even faster.

  • i went for 2 years after an injury (which was the final rigger point that made my back massively shift!) At first osteopathy gave big relief, but only worked for about a 1 week before that part of the spine shifted back. Eventually the intervals became more and more frequent to the practioner until the therapy didn't work at all, and he wasn't able to shift it. By then my posture and spinal shape was horrendous and caused me unfathomable pain (still does)

  • Fact is some people maybe born with actual spinal deformaties such as Scheuermann's Kyphosis but other like have naturally had weak bodies and weak back muscles, even at a very young age my back was very long and badly curved (in comparisons to my brothers which looked very natural and straight) This may sound evil, but this kids problem will get worse, spinal manipulation doesn't correcly restore yhe spine's natural shape (mechanically speaking) this because when

  • i'm no expert but surely this is bad for the child seeing as his bones are still growing?

  • Um, no. Why would it be? It's just taking the spine through it's full normal range of motion. If aything, it would probably make the bones grow better.

  • why??? why does a preadolescent child need spine "adjustments"??

  • My guess is something to do with the 500+ falls while learning to walk, the hundreds more each year while playing on the play ground, the dozens more in organized sports. Would you like me to go on?

  • an adolescent needs adjustments when thy have spinal problems. Look in the hospital- kids have health problems just like adults do. They need all kind of attention- Dental, Nutritional, Chiropractic- its healthy to care for kids joint functioning.

  • yea but a Chiropractor is not the answer.

  • I think it depends on the person. im a teen

    I have scoliosis,

and sometimes i get really bad back pain.

So i think in my situation, a chiropractor IS the answer, because whenever i do go, he relieves the pressure off my back and it feels much better, it helps my scoliosis.

and in my case, whatever the doctor tries, doesn't help at all.

  • Idk man, the chiropractor does work you know in the short run. But in the long run it fucks you up. Doctors have something like a chiropractor but more safe. I have back problems as well and my doctor said to stay away from chiropractors. So thats pretty much what im basing everything on, is what my doctor told me.

  • Wow. That is as weak as it gets Slay. Anecdote based on anecdote. Isn't that what, supposedly, QW so fervently bashes? Then again, that site is very hypocritical as well.

  • it truely depends

alot of what thwey say about chiropractors , like illness in the spine and causeing desiese and increased bloodflow anfd bla bla bla, thats all bullshit, but correcting the positions of bones is what there ment to do, if that kid has a misplaced bond or grinding joints then there doing the right thing
